Kevin Hart Overtakes Jerry Seinfeld As The Top Earning Comedian On The Forbes List

(AllHipHop News) Kevin Hart is the new king of comedy. At least, when it comes to the amount of money the Philadelphia-born jokester made over a 12 month period.

According to Forbes, Hart overtook Jerry Seinfeld by bringing in $87.5 million between June 2015 and June 2016.

That total is $44 million more than the $43.5 million earned by Seinfeld.

Hart is the first person besides Seinfeld to take the top spot on the Highest-Paid Comedians list.

Five Hart-starring films were released in 2015 and 2016 – The Wedding Ringer, Get Hard, Ride Along 2, Central Intelligence, and The Secret Life of Pets.

The 37-year-old actor/comic also performed over 100 stadium and arena shows from June 2015 to June 2016.

The upcoming Kevin Hart: What Now? stand-up comedy movie was filmed on August 30, 2015 at Lincoln Financial Field in his hometown.

Terry Fator ($21 million), Amy Shumer ($17 million), Jeff Dunham ($13.5 million), Dave Chappelle ($13 million), Jim Gaffigan ($12.5 million), Gabriel Iglesias ($9.5 million), Russell Peters ($9 million), and John Bishop ($7 million) rounded out the rest of the Top 10 of Forbes‘ Comedians Kings list.

Kevin Hart: What Now? is scheduled for release on October 14.
