D12’s Swifty McVay Recalls Suge Knight Attempting To Intimidate Eminem At 50 Cent’s Video Shoot

LISTEN TO THE DETROIT NATIVE TALK ABOUT HIS EXPERIENCE FILMING “IN DA CLUB”

(AllHipHop News) Suge Knight is no longer the Hip Hop bully he once was.

Legal troubles have kept Knight from being the same force in the industry, but there are surely plenty of old stories about the Death Row Records co-founder’s history of threatening actions.

During an interview with the Murder Master Music Show, Swifty McVay of D12 shared some of his experiences with Knight.

McVay covered Suge’s issues with fellow D12 member and Dr. Dre protégé Eminem.

“Em was pretty much guilty through association,” said Swifty. “Dr. Dre inherited this beef from Suge, and here comes Em being with Dre. So he kind of got pulled in it by default.”

McVay talked about being at the video shoot for 50 Cent’s “In da Club” when Knight supposedly attempted to intimidate people over their connection to Dre.

“We looking like, ‘We from Detroit. We ain’t in this mess,’” recalls McVay. “So, we ain’t running to no trailer because they ain’t trying to see or say nothing to us. But us being in the mix of things, it just felt crazy.”

He added, “We was just worried about my mans. Em ain’t have nothing to do with what was going on out there.”
