Khaby Lane was stopped by U.S. immigration officials at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on Friday (June 6) after violating the terms of his visa, prompting his swift exit from the country under a voluntary departure order.
The 25-year-old TikTok juggernaut, who holds Italian citizenship and was born in Senegal, arrived in the United States on April 30 and hit the Met Gala on May 5.
He was taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as part of a broader enforcement push under President Donald Trump’s renewed immigration policies.
Lame, who commands a staggering 162 million followers on TikTok, was not listed in ICE’s public detainee database, leading to confusion online.
Despite the legal trouble, Khaby Lame remained active on social media throughout the ordeal, continuing to post on both TikTok and Instagram.
According to ICE, the detention was part of stepped-up immigration enforcement efforts.
Khaby Lame’s case drew attention not just because of his celebrity status but also due to the growing scrutiny of high-profile ICE raids happening around the United States under the Trump administration’s policies.
Diddy was accused of having a fixation with male ejaculate and orchestrating drug-fueled group sex encounters during explosive testimony Friday (June 6)..
A woman identified only as “Jane” took the stand on Day 18 of the proceedings, describing multiple hotel encounters where she said Diddy pressured her to engage in sex acts with other men while he watched or later joined in.
She testified that Diddy insisted the men not use condoms, saying he didn’t want to “see a rubber” and preferred to “play around with it.”
The testimony painted a disturbing picture of control, coercion and humiliation.
Jane said she was often under the influence of drugs during these encounters and feared Diddy’s.reaction if she refused. “He’d get agitated,” she told the court when asked why she didn’t say no.
The alleged incidents took place in luxury hotels across Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Las Vegas and Beverly Hills. Jane said Diddy paid for the travel, rooms and participants, and that she felt emotionally and financially trapped.
When asked how these encounters ended, Jane testified the men would “finish on me,” followed by Diddy having sex with her.
She said she never cleaned up the ejaculate because Diddy liked to play with it.
Prosecutors pressed Jane on whether she ever tried to negotiate condom use.
She said she did, including one instance that was recorded, but Diddy guilt-tripped her out of it. “It was not something he wanted to see,” she said.
Jane also described the emotional toll of the relationship, saying she felt like she had to “get free” from Diddy’s control.
Diddy, a longtime Hip-Hop mogul and entrepreneur, is facing federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and coercion.
Prosecutors allege he used his wealth and status to manipulate women into sexual situations, often involving drugs and third parties.
50 Cent rushed to Instagram Thursday (June 5) after speculation swirled that his ex, Daphne Joy, may be the anonymous “Jane Doe” who testified against Sean “Diddy” Combs in his ongoing federal criminal trial.
The rapper-turned-mogul posted a photo holding his son with Joy, captioned simply: “WTF!”
The timing of the post—just hours after Jane took the stand—sent social media into overdrive. Many interpreted it as a reaction to the possibility that Joy was the woman describing disturbing allegations against Diddy.
On Thursday (June 5), the woman identified in court only as “Jane” became the third alleged victim to testify against Sean “Diddy” Combs. She told jurors she began dating Combs in 2021.
Jane Doe Claims Diddy Had Tense Relationship With Her Ex
Jane also testified that before dating Combs, she had been involved with a man who had a tense history with him.
That detail led many online to assume she was referring to 50 Cent, who has had a long-standing feud with Diddy.
Jane described being flown to Miami regularly, receiving gifts and cash, and being asked to wear lingerie. She said Combs gave her $10,000 during a trip to Turks and Caicos and the Bahamas.
But the relationship, she said, took a dark turn during what Combs called their first “freak-off” or “hotel night.”
Jane testified that Combs arranged for her to have sex with a male escort while he watched and masturbated. She said she initially felt “excited” but later realized the experience “opened a Pandora’s box.”
According to Jane, that night “set the tone” for the rest of their relationship, which she said became dominated by drug-fueled group sex sessions that Combs orchestrated and sometimes filmed.
She said she felt compelled to participate because of her financial dependence on him. Prosecutors allege Combs used “lies, drugs, threats, and violence to force and coerce” Jane and others into sex acts.
50 Cent’s Ex Named In Lil Rod’s Lawsuit Against Diddy
The speculation around Joy’s identity comes after her name surfaced in producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ lawsuit against Diddy, which accused her of being involved in sex work. At the time, 50 Cent mocked her online.
In response, Joy accused 50 Cent of “raping me and physically abusing me.” He denied the claims and filed a defamation suit, which he later dropped after Joy deleted her post.
50 Cent also moved to gain full custody of their son following the allegations.
Earlier this week, 50 Cent referred to Joy as “pee pee mouth” in an Instagram post reacting to Cam’ron mentioning her on a podcast.
“Well here come the b#######, don’t kiss my boy Pee Pee Mouth,” he wrote.
Dave Blunts and 50 Cent just ignited a social media firefight, and it seems Kanye West was the spark.
Rising rapper Dave Blunts, who’s been making headlines through his connection with Kanye West, clapped back hard at 50 Cent. The Queens legend trolled Ye online AGAIN. The drama popped off after West made an unexpected appearance at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial in New York on Friday. He just walked right in!
West, dressed head to toe in white, reportedly came to support Combs but wasn’t allowed into the courtroom. Instead, he watched the proceedings from an overflow room. The brief yet attention-grabbing moment immediately drew a reaction from 50 Cent.
The G-Unit mogul posted a digitally altered image of himself wearing an all-white suit, spliced with video of Kanye walking into court. The caption? “We are wearing white in honor of the freakoffs,” 50 wrote, taking a not-so-subtle jab at the allegations that have surfaced during the trial. He then went further, mocking Kanye’s wife, Bianca Censori: “Damn ye you should have brought your dirty little wife with that Grammys outfit.”
That’s when Dave Blunts stepped in and lit the match.
Blunts, who’s reportedly working with West on his upcoming album Cuck, wasn’t having it. He dissed the Dis Master. In the since-deleted comment, that we got…Blunts dragged 50 Cent’s ex, Daphne Joy. Now, she is widely regarded as the “Jane Doe” in the case. But what does she have to do with Kanye, Blunts and 50?
“50 Cent your BM was getting p00ped and p##d on. Hold this L and stop riding d##k.”
This was a bit weird and divided public opinion. The shade was pretty suspect. 50 Cent has some classic disses. Old? Yes, but classic. Some people found the retaliation justified…but I think it is pretty trash. Just got at 50.
So far, 50 Cent has not publicly responded to Blunts’ remarks, that silence might not last long.
Slim Thug caught an alleged stalker sleeping in his garage, confronting her on video and demanding she leave his property immediately.
The Houston rapper posted the footage to social media, showing the moment he discovered the woman inside his garage with a suitcase.
“How the hell did you get in here?” he asked, clearly stunned. The woman, who appeared to be gathering her belongings, mumbled something inaudible as Slim Thug pressed her for answers.
“Why the f### is you sleeping in my garage, man. Get the f### up out of here,” he said.
As she slowly moved to leave, he added, “Stay the f### away from me. What the f### is wrong with you. This s### is sick.”
Slim Thug said he had seen the woman before, first at his gym and then at other places he frequents. He recently posted footage of an incident on social media.
Over time, her behavior escalated. “The m############ be going too far,” he added.
The incident has raised concerns about his safety, especially since this isn’t the first time Slim Thug has dealt with stalker behavior. In 2023, a different woman was arrested for stalking him.
Security has become a growing issue for Slim Thug.
In April, while he was in San Antonio cheering on the University of Houston Cougars at the NCAA championship, his Houston penthouse was burglarized.
Thieves broke in through a door and took jewelry, cash and other valuables.
However, just weeks later, Slim Thug shared that his stolen jewelry had been returned. He credited the recovery to “God,” though some online speculated that local connections or behind-the-scenes negotiations may have played a role. The burglary remains under investigation.

Real Bleeda became the center of a police security alert in Baton Rouge after someone allegedly linked to him threatened to kill officers unless the rapper was released from jail.
The Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed it is investigating the threat, which surfaced shortly after Real Bleeda, whose real name is David Catherine, was arrested for the 2024 murder of Teressa Calligan, a respected community educator.
Authorities have not identified the person who made the threat but said it was severe enough to prompt heightened safety measures for officers.
Calligan, dean of coding at the Walls Project’s Futures Fund, was killed on September 15.
Investigators say she was an unintended victim caught in a gang-related shooting. Real Bleeda, a documented member of the Bleedas gang, was taken into custody on June 10.
His arrest followed months of legal trouble, including a May 19 incident where he was filmed allegedly waving a gun during a confrontation with suspected rivals outside Pecanland Mall in Monroe.
That video, which circulated widely on social media, helped police track him down. Two other suspects have also been charged in Calligan’s killing.
Roger Parker, who was previously indicted for the drive-by murder of 8-year-old Diellon Daniels, was booked for first-degree murder.
Robert Lewis, 19, was arrested this week while already in custody at East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on unrelated charges.
Lewis has a lengthy criminal history, including prior arrests for murder, illegal weapons possession, aggravated flight, criminal damage to property and witness intimidation.
Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine are seeking to introduce their forward-thinking educational model to John Muir High School in Pasadena, aiming to transform it into an early college magnet campus focused on design, technology, and entrepreneurship.
The duo pitched the proposal to Pasadena Unified School District officials, hoping to replicate the success of their Iovine and Young Center programs, which are already operating in Los Angeles and Atlanta.
Their first school launched in 2022 at Audubon Middle School in Los Angeles. A second location opened at Frederick Douglass High School in Atlanta in the fall of 2024.
A third site is scheduled to open in Inglewood in the summer of 2025, starting with ninth grade and expanding to 12th grade by 2028.
The Iovine and Young Centers are part of the public school system and are designed to serve inner-city students with limited access to innovative learning environments.
The curriculum blends creative thinking, problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills, culminating in a capstone project during senior year.
“By reimagining the high school learning experience, we create a culture of inquiry, collaboration, and innovation. This approach empowers students to become the next generation of innovators, problem solvers, and change-makers,” said Akilah Calhoun, principal of the IYC.
The schools are not music-focused despite Dr. Dre’s Hip-Hop legacy. Instead, they emphasize interdisciplinary education and real-world applications, providing students with access to cutting-edge tools and mentorship from industry professionals.
The model is designed to be scalable and adaptable for use in other districts, particularly those facing challenges with enrollment and funding. Inglewood officials have already embraced the program as a way to revitalize their school system.
According to Pasadena Now, the Pasadena proposal would follow the exact blueprint, offering students a direct path to college and careers in high-demand fields.
Jay-Z dropped a cool $1 million on the Oklahoma City Thunder to clinch the NBA Finals in five games, but Indiana’s Game 3 win instantly wiped out his wager.
The Hip-Hop mogul placed the bet through Fanatics Sportsbook, the betting platform he co-owns, banking on the Thunder to take the series 4-1 at +230 odds.
Had the prediction landed, he would’ve walked away with $3.3 million. But after the Indiana Pacers took Game 1 and then Game 3, the math no longer worked in his favor.
The Thunder’s loss in Game 3 handed the Pacers a 2-1 lead, making it impossible for Oklahoma City to win the series in five games. That result immediately voided Jay-Z’s bet, turning his seven-figure gamble into a complete loss.
While the wager made headlines, the financial hit barely dents Jay-Z’s empire.
With a net worth estimated at $2.5 billion in 2025, the $1 million bet represents just 0.04% of his total wealth. For comparison, that’s like someone with $100 losing 4 cents.
Jay-Z’s fortune spans music, luxury liquor, tech, and sports. In 2023, he sold a portion of his D’Ussé cognac stake to Bacardi for approximately $750 million.
He also holds major stakes in Roc Nation and Tidal, which he sold to Square for $297 million, as well as Armand de Brignac champagne, of which he sold a 50% stake to LVMH for $600 million.
He became Hip-Hop’s first billionaire in 2019 and has since more than doubled his wealth. His involvement in sports betting and gambling goes beyond casual wagers.
Jay-Z’s million-dollar bet was also a marketing move, showcasing the platform he helped build. But even with the loss, the Finals are far from over.
The series is now tied 2-2 after both teams traded wins, setting up a pivotal Game 5. The Thunder and Pacers will face off again Monday night (June 16) at 8:30 p.m. ET in Oklahoma City.
Ashanti and Nelly didn’t hold back in the teaser for their upcoming reality series Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together, where the couple opened up about the bitterness that followed their 2013 breakup and the unexpected path that led them back to each other.
The Hip-Hop duo, now married and raising a son, sat side by side in a confessional moment from the show, reflecting on the emotional fallout of their split.
“I hated her,” Nelly admitted. Ashanti echoed the sentiment with, “I hated him.” She added, “I didn’t think that we would get back together,” before Nelly smiled and said, “She got me y’all!”
The series, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at their life as newlyweds and parents while juggling demanding careers, is set to chronicle their journey from estranged exes to a committed couple.
The two tied the knot in December 2023 and welcomed their first child, a son, in July of the same year.
In the trailer, Ashanti reflects on how their relationship has evolved since their earlier days. “We have grown. We’re adults,” she said. Nelly followed up with, “But we’re still trying to have fun.”
Earlier this year, Ashanti told E! News that the couple is planning to expand their family.
“We’re going to add some more,” she said. “Definitely a girl to balance it out. I’m outnumbered in the house right now. So a girl would be great.”
Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together is expected to premiere later this year.
Melissa Hortman, the former Speaker of the Minnesota House and her husband was killed alongside her husband in a targeted shooting at their Brooklyn Park home early Saturday (June 14) in what authorities are calling a politically motivated ambush.
The shootings also left John Hoffman, who chairs the Senate’s Human Services Committee and his wife wounded at their Champlin residence just miles away.
The two attacks, which occurred within hours and eight miles apart in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis, have triggered a statewide security response and a federal manhunt.
Both lawmakers are prominent members of the Minnesota Democratic Farmer-Labor Party.
Hortman and her husband were pronounced dead at the scene. Their dog was also shot.
Hoffman and his wife, were shot multiple times but are expected to survive, according to law enforcement.
Authorities said the assailant posed as a police officer, wearing a uniform and possibly using a vehicle equipped with emergency lights. The suspect is described as a white male with brown hair, dressed in black body armor over a blue shirt and blue pants.
“This was an act of targeted political violence. Peaceful discourse is the foundation of our democracy. We don’t settle our differences with violence or at gunpoint,” he said.
He continued, “We must all, in Minnesota and across the country, stand against all forms of political violence. At this precipice moment we’re on, this tragic act here in Minnesota should serve as a reminder to all of us that democracy and the debates in the halls of Congress, in state houses, in school boards, is a way to settle our differences peacefully and move society to a better place.”
All Minnesota state lawmakers have been placed under protective custody as a precaution. The FBI is assisting local authorities in the search for the gunman.
The killings come as tensions rise nationwide, with No Kings protests scheduled in nearly 2,000 locations across the United States on Saturday (June 14).
Organizers expect millions to participate, making it the largest single-day protest since President Trump returned to office.
The demonstrations are a response to Trump’s planned military parade in Washington, D.C., which is scheduled to celebrate his 79th birthday and the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army.
The main rally is being held in Philadelphia, with organizers emphasizing nonviolence and asking attendees not to bring weapons.
Cardi B fears her outspoken criticism of Donald Trump could provoke mass deportations as she slams his use of military force during immigration protests in Los Angeles.
Cardi B didn’t hold back when reacting to President Trump’s decision to send the National Guard and Marines into Los Angeles amid ICE demonstrations, calling it “dictatorship vibes.”
The Bronx-born rapper said she’s worried her public opposition to the former president could have dangerous consequences for immigrant communities.
Cardi B expressed deep concern that her words could be weaponized against vulnerable groups.
“Personally, the reason why I haven’t really said anything is because I could say something every single day about it, and guess what? Nothing is going to happen because Trump do not give one f### about me or what I gotta say,” Cardi B said.
“I personally believe that he doesn’t like me. So if somebody don’t like you, right? And they say something or they do something, you be like, ‘oh, word? Now I’ma show you. You thought I was being f##### up, now I’m a show you that I’m being f##### up.’ I feel like if I say something, he’ll be like, ‘aight, since you wanna talk s###, I’m a deport 500 people today on purpose just to p### you off,'” Cardi B continued.
She admitted that her influence feels limited under the current political climate. The Grammy winner said she no longer has any connections inside the White House and feels powerless to sway policy.
Cardi B also urged Donald Trump to consider the humanity of immigrants, pointing out their contributions to the country. She warned that harsh enforcement tactics and raids would only fuel more unrest.
“We could be in ruins. You never know what tomorrow brings. And I feel like COVID f###### showed us that. And all these things that is going on with the economy and even more. Don’t ever abuse power. Nobody’s more powerful than God,” Card B said.
The unrest Cardi B referenced has been building across the country.
On Saturday (June 14), over 2,000 “No Kings” protests are scheduled in all 50 states, aimed at opposing what organizers describe as authoritarian overreach by Donald Trump’s administration.
The demonstrations coincide with President Trump’s military parade in Washington, D.C., marking the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary and his 79th birthday.
Groups like Indivisible and the ACLU are leading the charge, calling for peaceful resistance and rejecting the use of military force in domestic politics.
Law enforcement is on high alert in several cities, especially after limited clashes in Los Angeles during recent immigration protests.
Organizers say the movement is about protecting democracy and civil rights, with millions expected to participate nationwide.

“I don’t put my name on just anything. These TICAL seeds? Handpicked, perfected, and ready to rep real flavor across borders. Big love to Zamnesia…for showing up and showing love,” said Method Man in a statement announcing the collaboration.
The deal marks a major move for TICAL—short for “Taking Into Consideration All Lives”—which Method Man named after his 1994 debut solo album. That album, released under Def Jam, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and helped cement the Wu-Tang Clan member’s solo career.
Now, three decades later, the rapper-turned-entrepreneur is pushing his cannabis vision overseas.
Zamnesia, a Netherlands-based e-commerce platform known for its cannabis and psychedelic products, will be the exclusive distributor of the TICAL seed line in both the U.S. and Europe.
The rollout includes eight strains personally selected by Method Man with names like Shaolin Spritzer, Method Mac, Sweet Morning Mimosa and 24K Gold Fangs.
The campaign will tap into Zamnesia’s network of over 350,000 cannabis customers and Method Man’s global reach, blending celebrity influence with cultivation expertise.
According to CNN, the European cannabis market is expected to grow rapidly as legalization efforts continue across several countries.
This summer, TICAL and Zamnesia will release a limited-edition strain with collector’s packaging aimed at longtime cannabis connoisseurs.
U.S. buyers can find the full TICAL seed lineup at zamnesia.com/us.
Long Island may not always get its flowers in Hip-Hop, but from Public Enemy and EPMD to Rakim and De La Soul, the 516 is sacred ground. Enter Jaeo Draftpick. He’s repping Long Island with pride, lyrical grit and a new hustle.
DJ Thoro sits down with the MC-turned-entrepreneur, whose journey includes high school field trips to Violator Records and overcoming legal setbacks. Fresh from a London trip, he’s got a new single “Twisted,” a tribute to the Keith Sweat classic. He’s got stories, punchlines and a chip on his shoulder for every time Long Island is left out of the Hip-Hop conversation. Read on for the most entertaining, raw and unapologetic version of Jaeo yet.
AllHipHop: You kicked this off with a slick line—”The kid from the island like Gilligan.” Where exactly are you from?
Jaeo Draftpick: Long Island all day—everywhere from Westbury to Hempstead. I don’t claim just one area because Long Island is huge. I rep the whole thing.
AllHipHop: Let’s play a little Hip-Hop trivia. Name some icons from Long Island.
Jaeo: Oh, easy. Rakim, Biz Markie, Keith Murray, Prodigy, Granddaddy IU—RIP. Even Meth lived out there. And Roc Marciano. People forget about these legends.
AllHipHop: You’re up here promoting something. What’s the latest?
Jaeo: I just dropped a new joint called Twisted 2K25. It channels the Keith Sweat classic—nah, not sampled, but inspired by it. Produced by Dub Easy. It’s smooth, it’s fire, and it hit streaming March 21st.
AllHipHop: You mentioned performing it for the first time in London. How’d that happen?
Jaeo: Crazy story. I planned a work-play trip to London with the homies. Someone’s relative owned a lounge. I played my music there, they rocked with it immediately. Invited me to perform the next night. Whole thing was organic. That vibe was love.
AllHipHop: You talk like a student of the game. What set it off for you?
Jaeo: A field trip to Violator Records in high school. Shout out Mr. Jenkins. I met Chris Lighty—didn’t even realize how major he was ‘til later. But that day made me want to be in the business—somehow, some way.
AllHipHop: That same Mr. Jenkins later banned your video shoot?
Jaeo:[laughs] Yeah, same dude. We shot a video in a school he was principal at later. “Look At My Drip.” Choir was in it, lyrics weren’t wild—but they asked to take it down. Same guy who helped spark the dream tried to shut it down. Wild.
AllHipHop: You also mentioned past struggles. Can you talk about some obstacles?
Jaeo: I’ve been in and out the system. Violations, 30 days here, 45 there. Having a kid in high school. A lot of things pulled me away, but I kept coming back to music. And it paid off—“51631” landed me a deal with Tommy Boy.
AllHipHop: That’s major. And you didn’t stop there. You launching a dispensary now?
Jaeo: Yup. It’s called Lifted Essentials in Wading River, Suffolk County. One of those conditional licenses came through based on prior convictions. Crazy how those Ls turn into Ws. That’s why I don’t glorify the rap sheet—but I own it.
AllHipHop: You dropped a freestyle earlier. You still a spitter first?
Jaeo: Always. I do the songs, the commercial records, but I came up writing to Nas on karaoke machines. I rap for real. That track got me noticed.
AllHipHop: If you could collab with anyone—dead or alive—who would it be?
Jaeo: Cam’Ron is one of my favorite rappers. A-Boogie too. Old Kanye—not KKK Kanye. Michael Jackson, no question. I used to dress like him as a kid. That’s real influence.
AllHipHop: What separates you from the 30,000 other rappers out?
Jaeo: I’m versatile. I can do trap, boom bap, melodic stuff. I’m from Long Island, forgotten in Hip-Hop. I rap, but I also build. Music got me into business, ownership, expansion. You ain’t got to sell your soul for success. Just grind.
AllHipHop: And the last project?
Jaeo:Nice Try Wrong Guy. That was the last album. The next one’s Just a Guy. Stay tuned for that. Everything I do is intentional.
50 Cent launched his BizCamp program in Shreveport last week as part of his plan to revitalize the city through education and entertainment.
More than 40 young participants, dressed in business attire, gathered outside a red-brick building for the kickoff of BizCamp, a youth entrepreneurship initiative backed by his G-Unity Foundation.
The program, which ended yesterday (June 13), taught students how to build businesses while promoting what Jackson calls “conscious capitalism.”
The rapper-turned-mogul has been steadily expanding his footprint in northwest Louisiana since 2023 when he signed a 30-year lease on the Millennium Studio complex with an option to extend it to 45 years.
The once-neglected facility is now being transformed into the new headquarters for G-Unit Film & Television.
50 Cent shared a photo celebrating the event, showing students and mentors posing on the steps of the building. His caption read: “@gunityfoundation Biz Camp is in full effect in Shreveport.
“Think Big SHREVEPORT is going to be the place to be Music, Art, Entertainment, entrepreneurship at its best. things are gonna change. It might feel like it’s me but it’s God and the good people of Louisiana,” 50 Cent said.
The BizCamp initiative is just one part of Jackson’s larger vision for the city.
On March 25, he made a surprise appearance at a Shreveport City Council meeting to secure a lease on the shuttered StageWorks venue. The space will be converted into a multi-use arena for boxing, MMA, concerts, car shows and more.
Later phases of the project include investments in affordable housing, with profits from future festivals and events being reinvested in community programs run by the G-Unity Foundation.
If completed as planned, G-Unit Studios will become the second-largest Black-owned production facility in the country, behind only Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta.
50 Cent wasted no time ridiculing Gloria Allred after learning the California State Bar launched an investigation into her law firm, calling her out in a blunt Instagram post.
Allred has been accused of pressuring clients—primarily women—to sign settlements in sexual misconduct cases before they were ready.
“Hey Gloria so the FED’s are on your ass now hun, LOL 😆 I told you I’m not paying you I’m not paying you a fvcking dime. 👀ya been getting away with MURDER!” 50 Cent wrote.
According to a detailed report by The Wall Street Journal, several former clients stated that their concerns were dismissed and they felt coerced into agreements.
The California State Bar has since requested interviews and documents from Allred’s firm, Allred, Maroko & Goldberg, as part of its inquiry.
While no formal charges have been filed, the probe has drawn attention due to the Bar’s recent scrutiny over its handling of other high-profile attorneys, including Thomas Girardi.
Allred and her firm deny any wrongdoing, stating they have always followed ethical and professional standards.
The rapper’s jab comes months after Allred filed a lawsuit against him on behalf of photographer Guadalupe De Los Santos, who claims he was injured by an SUV door at a book signing event in Los Angeles.
The suit alleges that 50 Cent directed someone from his team to strike De Los Santos while the photographer was riding an electric scooter, resulting in injuries and lost wages.
Slick Rick returned to the spotlight Friday (June 13) with Victory, his first full-length album in more than two decades, featuring Nas and executive produced by Idris Elba, blending cinematic visuals with cross-continental Hip-Hop storytelling.
The 10-track project, released through Elba’s 7Wallace imprint, marks Slick Rick’s first album since 1999’s The Art of Storytelling.
Victory also arrives as a visual album, paired with a 30-minute film directed by Meji Alabi that spans the U.S., U.K. and Africa.
The visual component debuted at SXSW London on Friday (June 7). The U.S. premiere was held at the Tribeca Festival in New York on Thursday (June 12).
“Victory is all about perseverance, storytelling, imagination and evolution,” Rick said in a statement. “A visual blend of art and heart — a sonic journey that reflects where I’ve been and where I’m going. Victory isn’t just music — it’s a bold in your face statement, showcasing British artistry at its finest!”
The album includes guest appearances from Estelle, Giggs and longtime collaborator Nas, who praised Rick’s legacy and their creative reunion.
“Slick Rick and I have a long history of working together, so it was great to get back in the studio with him to create this new record,” Nas said. “He has been such an influential figure in Hip-Hop culture, and I look forward to him sharing this project with the next generation of fans.”
Elba, who helped shape the project behind the scenes, called the experience a personal milestone.
“Working with Slick Rick … back home in the U.K.,” and then ” he said. “Offering the world of Hip-Hop something amazing has been a blessing. It’s literally a gift!”
Victory is now available on all major streaming platforms.
Kanye West and sex party allegations collided in real time, when the polarizing rapper arrived at Diddy ongoing federal trial, just one day after explosive testimony linked an unnamed “married rapper” to the mogul’s alleged freak-off gatherings. He and the wife tried it on Thursday (June 12), but we’ll talk about that shortly.
The court was already deep in a swirl of scandal as “Jane” continued her lengthy testimony against the embattled Bad Boy Records founder. The woman’s identity remains sealed but is believed to be 50 Cent’s ex-lady. She laid out disturbing allegations that placed Diddy at the center of this dark and secretive sexual underworld. BUT, the courtroom got hot when she described a high-profile married rap star named “Anton” in her testimony. She said this rapper was a frequent participant in these so-called “freak-offs,” a term now synonymous with sexual debauchery, coercion and Diddy’s ongoing public downfall.
Whether he was there in support of Diddy or simply to observe, West’s appearance instantly triggered speculation. Was he “Anton”? Was he there to confront accusers or defend himself in some unsaid way? Or was it just an ill-timed coincidence?
Kanye West gonna look at “Jane” like this:
Anyway, no one knows for sure, but the timing was impossible to ignore.
In court, Jane did not name West or any other specific artist as “Anton.” But she offered details that suggested the rapper was iconic, married, and known to be close to Combs. That left internet sleuths in overdrive, combing through possible suspects, with theories initially bouncing from JAY-Z (widely dismissed due to his clean-cut public image) to Kanye West, whose name seemed to linger the longest in digital discussions.
“Kanye doesn’t even like Diddy like that,” one Twitter user posted. “So why show up now?”
It’s a fair question. West and Diddy have had a complicated public relationship, oscillating between admiration and ideological beefs. So, what prompted West to show up?
While West didn’t make any public statements upon arrival, his presence only intensified online debates. Some speculated that the rapper might be trying to control a narrative spiraling out of his control. Others floated the theory that he was there to intimidate, challenge or simply be seen.
It’s important to note: as of now, Kanye West has not been formally accused of any misconduct, nor has he been officially named in any court documents related to the Diddy proceedings.
Still, his presence—especially the day after rumors—feels deliberate. And that may be all it takes to keep the blaze going.
Because when Kanye West walks into court while the world’s whispering his name in connection with salacious claims, there’s no walking that back.
By the way, Kanye West and his wife, Bianca, tried to get in the court and were turned away.
Murs says he’s retiring, but Hip-Hop isn’t convinced.
The beloved Los Angeles lyricist, known for his authenticity, razor-sharp rhymes and relentless dedication to the culture, just wrapped up a national tour billed as his retirement run. Word is, his next album, Love & Rockets 3:16, will be his final one. But anyone who’s heard the early drops from the project knows it doesn’t sound like a man winding down. It sounds like Murs at the top of his game.
And that’s where the skepticism creeps in.
The underground icon has spent decades navigating rap with heart, humor and hard truths. He’s one of the rare artists who’s respected by backpackers, battle MCs, gangsters and boom-bap heads alike. The idea of him walking away feels unnatural, especially when the bars are still crazy.
Sure, he’s saying all the right things about stepping away. But something about it feels temporary. Maybe it’s because he’s rapping like he still has something to prove. Maybe it’s because the industry has seen too many farewell tours turn into comebacks. Or maybe it’s because fans simply aren’t ready to let go. I know I am not.
One thing’s certain: Murs has always stood for more than just music. He’s a cornerstone of independent Hip-Hop, a bridge between eras and coasts. Remember his collab with 9th Wonder? More importantly, he’s a good human in a genre that doesn’t always reward that. And that goodness? It can wear a man down. AllHipHop knows about this. Being thoughtful and honest in an industry driven by ego and illusion isn’t just rare, it’s exhausting. Don’t go, Murs!
It’s hard to believe this is the end.
If Murs does hang up the mic after this next album, he’ll be leaving with his head high. His catalog is deep. Maybe a festival has other plans? My brains says one day he’ll have platinum plaques in hand, rocking stadium stages and a fresh set of roses.
Until then, we’ll hope this isn’t the last run.
I just realized you can get the whole album NOW!Support Murs!
Diddy had his former personal assistant testify Friday (June 13) that he routinely prepared hotel rooms with libido-boosting honey, red lighting and baby oil for Diddy’s private encounters known as “King Nights,” as part of the ongoing federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial in Manhattan.
Jonathan Perez, who worked for Diddy from late 2021 to 2024, testified that he was responsible for setting up rooms for these evenings, which often involved both men and women and frequently ended with staff cleaning up afterward.
He described the aftermath as “in disarray,” with towels, sheets and oils needing to be collected.
Perez, testifying under an immunity order after invoking the Fifth Amendment, said he also made purchases at adult stores and sourced items like red lights from Target and Amazon.
He confirmed that honey was always part of the setup because it was believed to enhance male sexual performance. Perez said he was recruited for the assistant role by Kristina Khorram, Diddy’s chief of staff, after previously interviewing for the same position.
He said he learned about “King Nights” early on and was instructed to prepare hotel rooms for Diddy and female guests, including one referred to in court as “Jane.”
He described a typical evening setup: red lights, fruit, shakes, honey and sometimes wardrobe discussions with Jane. In one text exchange shown in court, Perez told Khorram he was heading to an adult store after finishing the room setup.
Perez later confirmed that staff, including himself, were responsible for cleaning the rooms after the encounters. He also testified that he obtained drugs such as Xanax, cocaine and Molly for Diddy “a handful of times” from individuals known only as “G####” and “Babygirl.”
During cross-examination, defense attorney Brian Steel asked whether Jane ever appeared uncomfortable or coerced. Perez replied that she never seemed unwilling and even asked him for fashion advice to impress Diddy.
He also agreed that these “King Nights” took place during Diddy’s personal time, not as part of his business operations.
Perez said he once saw a video of Jane having sex with a Black man while Diddy watched. He reported the video to Diddy and Khorram immediately.
The government alleges Diddy ran his entertainment empire as a criminal enterprise that exploited women through coercion and financial control. He faces five felony charges, including racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking by force or fraud.
The trial continues Monday (June 16) in U.S. District Court in Manhattan.
Somebody at TSA picked the wrong N-word to mess with!
Ice Cube didn’t mince his words on Twitter Friday (June 13). Apparently, someone stole from him—and he wants his stuff back. I’m not sure how that’s going to happen, but it better happen.
TSA stole my iPad out my bag tonight. United Flight 2615. Either LAX or O’Hara. I need my s### back ASAP or it’s a problem.
According to his tweet, Ice Cube was on a United flight leaving out of Los Angeles. Somewhere along the way, his belongings vanished. Now, I don’t know why his iPad was in checked baggage (not my business), but the point remains: give the man his stuff back.
The only problem? I’m not convinced it’s coming back. If I stole something from Ice Cube, I’d be more scared to return it than I was to steal it in the first place. At that point, the theft is done—getting caught or facing Cube’s wrath? That’s a whole different thing.
Hopefully, the thief does the right thing and returns the goods. But let’s be real—people are doing wild things just to survive these days. Not that it’s an excuse… just reality.
The good news? Oh yeah, there is good news. I’m happy to report Ice Cube’s stuff was returned. He’s now a happy dude—with attitude. The jokes on Twitter were funny while they lasted, though.
This whole incident reminds me of a personal story. A convenience store I used to frequent recently shut down. Why? People kept stealing. They cleaned it out to the point the business couldn’t stay afloat. Now I’m stuck, unable to conveniently grab a candy bar or loaf of bread.
So what does this have to do with Ice Cube? Not much—except I could drop a dozen Hip-Hop punchlines right now. But I won’t. The man was clearly upset, and I am glad he got his stuff back.
But let’s be honest: having a cultural icon like Ice Cube publicly call out your airline isn’t a good look. United better tighten up.
Diddy lost a key juror Thursday (June 13) in his federal sex trafficking and racketeering case after the court removed a Black male panelist for misleading statements about where he lives.
The juror, identified as Juror #6, had told the court during jury selection that he lived in the Bronx with his fiancée and daughter.
However, during a private discussion with the judge, he later stated that he had moved to New Jersey with his girlfriend and had been there for several weeks.
When pressed again, he claimed to spend four to five days a week in New York. The conflicting accounts prompted the prosecution to request his removal, citing a “lack of candor.”
The judge agreed, saying the juror’s shifting story suggested he was trying to stay on the panel by shading the truth.
“There’s no reason to lie unless you’re trying to get onto the jury,” the judge said, adding that the inconsistencies were “inconsistent” and that the juror “should not return on Monday.”
The decision immediately drew pushback from Diddy’s defense team, who argued that the removal could damage the racial balance of the jury.
The main panel includes five Black jurors, four white jurors, two Hispanic jurors, and one Asian juror. Of the six alternates, four are white and two are Black.
Attorney Xavier Donaldson, representing Diddy, warned that removing Juror #6 could send the wrong message about diversity in the courtroom.
“There have been issues with the representation of African American and Hispanic jurors in this District,” Donaldson said. “We’ve taken a step with this jury; now we’re taking a step backward.”
Donaldson also argued that the juror’s living situation was not unusual and should not have been grounds for dismissal.
The judge, however, maintained that the removal was necessary to preserve the integrity of the trial and called on the use of one of the alternate jurors.
The prosecution declined to elaborate further but rejected the idea that race played a role in the decision.
Diddy is facing five federal charges, including racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution.
The trial, now in its fourth week, continues Monday (June 16) with the remaining jurors.
Snoop Dogg mourned the loss of his longtime companion, French Bulldog Juelz, by posting a heartfelt tribute on Instagram that included a slideshow of memories and a message to Wiz Khalifa, who had initially gifted him the pup.
“Rip @juelzbroadus thank wiz for giving him to me (sic),” Snoop Dogg wrote alongside a series of photos showing the two together over the years.
The post also featured a video montage set to Wiz and Charlie Puth’s 2015 track “See You Again.” He added, “Miss my dogg @juelzbroadus.”
Juelz, a French Bulldog with his own Instagram following of more than 50,000, had been a regular presence in Snoop’s life since 2014 when Wiz surprised him with the dog for his 43rd birthday.
