(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill dodged jail time. The rapper faced time in jail after a judge ruled the rapper violated his probation.
Last December, a judge said the Philadelphia native did not properly communicate with his probation officer on numerous instances and also violated travel restrictions. Appearing with girlfriend Nicki Minaj didn’t help the rapper on either of his court appearances.
Yesterday, Meek Mill talked to students at the Boys Latin of Philadelphia Charter School and implored them to rise above their environment.

Lira Galore was spotted earlier this week in LA with Quavo from Migos. It seems like she may have been cast to be the leading lady in one of their music videos. Do you think Lira has finally moved on from Rick Ross? We can’t help but to think she would’ve been much happier as a sister wife with Ross’ other girlfriends.
Poor Bow Wow, the guy can never catch a break. Yall don’t want Bow to be great. Bow Wow recently posted a photo of him & Michael B. Jordan on his Instagram with the caption,
“True story..We were supposed to had been did one. Hurricane season. For what reason they aint pick this boy. I have a feeling we gone meet up and get the chance to do it forreal! (it’s only us 2) kind of movie could yall see us doing?”
Fans quickly poked fun at Bow suggesting that the two could make ‘Lottery Ticket 2’. Clearly the first ‘Lottery Ticket’ wasn’t the best movie. One fan took it as far as to suggest that they could make the sequel to ‘Brokeback Mountain’, a film about two men falling in love. Another person commented,
It looks like Stevie J may want his ex E-V-E to get on his famous “Stevie bus.” Like most celebs, Steebie got caught on Instagram liking one of Eve’s pictures. Eve once said that she is glad she dodged a bullet with Stevie J when they went their separate days. She was most likely referring to his reality television antics. Maybe Stevie is reminiscing on their wild sex tape that leaked. With everyone reuniting and making up with their exes, maybe we will see a Stevie J & Eve collaboration. We know Stevie wants that old thing back!
As a father, Tyga is concerned about his child’s well-being. Following the recent arrest of his former fiancée, Blac Chyna, for alleged Ecstasy possession, T-Raw is questioning her parenting skills.
The “Stimulated” rapper is in the midst of contesting the previous custody agreement for his young son, King Cairo, this according to TMZ. Given Chyna’s recent arrest and previous addiction issues, an insider has revealed that Tyga belives that he should be the primary parent.
T-Raw is not unreasonable. He is said to be willing to allow the social media socialite weekend visitation with their son. Tyga’s legal team has already been summoned to file the necessary documents.
Even though Blac Chyna is dating Rob Kardashian — the older brother of his sometimes bae, Kylie Jenner — Tyga doesn’t possess any ill will towards Rob. That same source reports that regardless of Blac Chyna’s romantic relationships their son knows who his father is.

(AllHipHop News) A 2015 documentary about the murders of Tupac “2Pac” Shakur and Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace has rocked the Hip Hop landscape in recent days. Retired Los Angeles Police Department detective Greg Kading’s film Murder Rap, based on his book of the same name, alleges that Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs paid supposed Crips gang member Duane Keith “Keffe D” Davis $1 million to kill Shakur and Death Row head Suge Knight.
The news of the doc spread around the internet this week as it made its way to iTunes. Puffy’s business rival 50 Cent jumped on the allegations, and he began posting about the accusations on social media.
“I told you, you can’t trust these n*ggas. Puffy done killed 2Pac,” 50 can be heard saying in a video (now deleted from IG).
While the clip has been removed from 50’s page, the G-Unit leader still has a post up featuring a New York Daily News article reporting about the Murder Rap documentary. The caption for 50’s Instagram post reads, “So Puffy with the sh*t hun? See you gotta watch these punk, scary ass n*ggas… He killed your favorite rapper.”
Fellow former LAPD officer and 2Pac bodyguard Reggie Wright told AllHipHop.com in 2014 that he believed most of what Kading wrote in his book to be true. He stated, “Almost everything that pretty much came out in the investigation and the book Murder Rap by Greg Kading I believe is 98-99% accurate.”
Wright also added he believed Pac and Biggie’s murders were part of an ongoing gang war between Crips and Bloods. He specifically pointed to the fight between 2Pac’s entourage and alleged Southside Crip and Keffe D’s nephew Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas hours before Shakur was shot.
“[Keefe D] was trying save his life, but you don’t go implicate yourself and your nephew to a murder that you’re already suspected of. Then you implicate yourself to it? Keefe D’s statements are accurate to what happened,” said Wright. “That’s just what happens out here in the L.A. life and Vegas. Bloods not scared of Crips. Crips not scared of Bloods. Their mentality: you do something against them, then they gonna do something back against you. Orlando was from the Crips side, and the guys that [killed the Notorious B.I.G. in LA] were from the Bloods side.”
Keefe D reportedly admitted to Kading that he was paid by Combs to kill Shakur. He is quoted as saying Orlando Anderson was the person that pulled the trigger the night 2Pac was murdered in Vegas. Anderson was killed in 1998.
Well in wild news, a Ray J review of Kim Kardashian’s v##### recently went viral. In an interview that happened about 8 years ago, Ray just felt the need to tell the interviewer that his ex-girlfriend Kim K’s v##### had a terrible smell. He said he had to tell her about the odor, and the next day it was fresh as a daisy. Now that the interview has gone viral, Ray J says he wants to focus on positivity only. Ouch Kim K! Why would Ray ever embarrass that girl like that. Over the years he seemed bitter and overly cocky at the same time.
(AllHipHop News) On Thursday morning, Meek Mill visited the Boys’ Latin School in his hometown of Philadelphia. According to reports, the DreamChasers rapper offered the students words of encouragement. He also spoke about avoiding incarceration and overcoming tough circumstances.

(AllHipHop News) Kendrick Lamar is headed into the 2016 Grammy awards with the most nominations. The TDE emcee picked up 11 nods, including Best Rap Album and Album Of The Year. This is not the first time Kendrick will be competing in those categories.
The “Swimming Pools (Drank)” rhymer was completely shut out at the 2014 Grammys when his critically acclaimed album Good Kid M.A.A.D City led him to be up for five trophies (he got two more nominations for tracks with Miguel and A$AP Rocky).
There was a lot of talk at the time that Kendrick was snubbed at the ’14 ceremony, but many observers believe the Compton native will not leave the 2016 Grammys empty-handed. Kendrick spoke to Billboard about getting passed up by the Grammys two years ago and his Hip Hop record-setting 11 nominations this year.
“[The Grammy defeats] would have been upsetting to me if I’d known that was my best work, if I had nothing new to offer,” said Kendrick. “Good Kid, M.A.A.D City is great work, but it’s not my best work. To Pimp a Butterfly is great. I’m talking about the connection the record made. Good Kid, M.A.A.D City made a connection. But To Pimp a Butterfly made a bigger connection.”
K. Dot added, “It’s bigger than me. When we think about the Grammys, only Lauryn Hill and Outkast have won album of the year. This would be big for hip-hop culture at large.”
(AllHipHop News) After the huge success of the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, other legendary rap stars’ names have been discussed as possibly being future subjects of a biographical movie. Brooklyn rhymer Maino suggests a film already made about one of his fellow Bedford-Stuyvesant representatives should be getting the reboot treatment.
“I want them to do the B.I.G. movie over. I think it was done a little too early,” Maino tells DJ Smallz. “I want them to really get that one done right. I think you have to let a little bit of time go, because you want to speak to another generation.”
The life of Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace was depicted in the 2009 motion picture Notorious. The film was released just 12 years after the death of the iconic emcee. Notorious reportedly grossed $36 million at the domestic box office, and the George Tillman, Jr. directed movie was met with mixed reviews from critics.

Indie artist Matthew Skyy is on a mission to the change the game. The New Jersey bred Atlanta native makes his stance with the release of his debut mixtape ‘Divergent,’ inspired by the movie of the same name.
Matthew Skyy was born in Jersey City, New Jersey as the youngest of 6 children from a first generation Haitian household. Skyy’s father passed away at age 4, and his family relocated to Atlanta, where he has formulated his artistry and passion for music through adversity.
“All of the things I’ve been through have helped me to write music through my emotions. Being a hybrid rapper & singer, I have found my own sound…a sound that sounds futuristic. My sound is universal,” says Matthew.
In a time where music is watered down, Matthew is bringing a new wave to the music industry. He plans to create a new sound instead of following the trend. A lot of Matthew’s songs pull from his experiences with females or from his experiences in life in general. He intended to take listeners on an emotional roller coaster with the project.
“I feel like my music stands apart from others, and in the movie the main character was different from others and saw the world from a different view than most. I feel like in this generation people are scared to be themselves so they resort to being followers and conformists. There are too many clones. I feel ‘Divergent’ is the music that will allow people to be themselves. Whether you’re weird or awkward, you will embrace who you are as a person and bless the world with your unique soul.”
Take a listen to the the mixtape and check out the music video for “7AM” below!
There is a reason Big Kap likely started off “Bia Bia” for Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz. He’s always been a titan of Hip-Hop that used to play The Tunnel in New York City. The Tunnel was “crunk” before Crunk. Nevertheles, Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz crafted a classic indeed and it laid down a platform for what present-day Hip-Hop sounds like nowadays. This raucious party was taken to the next level with the addition of Too Short, Ludacris and Chyna Whyte. Enjoy “Bia Bia. Circa 2000.
