Well not everyone is a fan of Kim Kardashian! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently joined the Mayor of Jerusalem for a toast. However when the same image was posted in the newspaper they cropped Kim K out, claiming they had to censor Kim as she was a pornographic symbol. Dang!

“Thats The Definition Of Selling Out…”

Everyone remembers the golden age of Hip-Hop when diversity and classic albums seemed to fall from the sky. But while legends were being made in the world of MC’s, their R&B counterparts enjoyed a Hip-Hop infused rebirth with the likes of Mary J. Blige, Jodeci and a Def Jam signed crooner named Case.

A quick fast-forward has groups like Dru Hill & Jodeci making comebacks and an older-wiser Case sitting with AllHipHop’s MrMecc chopping it up on everything from R&B roots to random memories from the strip club. Ya gotta love it!

Who Else Is Trying To Sue Empire?

Photo via Empire’s Instagram

According to TMZ, a friend of the Jackson family is suing Terrence Howard, Lee Daniels, “Empire” and others, claiming the hit show is a carbon copy of his film about his life as a “gangster, pimp and drug dealer.”

Ron Newt, who describes himself as a “known ghetto player” claims he met with Terrence at the Four Seasons hotel a while back and they discussed Ron’s documentary, “Bigger than Big.” Ron says Terrence connected to it, and said he wanted to play him in the film. When “Empire” debuted to huge ratings, Ron claimed the similarities are more than suspicious.

– “Empire” … 4 drug dealers killed. “Bigger than Big” script: 4 drug dealers were killed.

– “Empire” … Lucious shot his long-time friend. BTB: Prince shoots his friend.

– “Empire” has a round table. BTB: Round table!

– “Empire” … Cookie goes to jail for drugs. BTB: China Doll goes to jail for drugs.

– “Empire” … Cookie is released from prison. BTB: China Doll released from the big house.

– “Empire” … Cookie with hat. BTB: China Doll with hat.

Well it seems like Newt wants billions for this “Empire” lawsuit!

“See You Again” is included on the soundtrack to the hit movie Furious 7. With the film’s album sitting at the pinnacle of the Billboard 200 chart, this is the first time in 12 years that a soundtrack has the #1 single and #1 album in the country at the same time.

The last motion picture to achieve that accomplishment was 8 Mile in 2003. Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” controlled the top spot on the Hot 100 for 12 weeks in ’02 and ’03.

Wiz has gained his second Hot 100 number one single with “See You Again.” The Pittsburgh native’s “Black and Yellow” off Rolling Papers climbed to number one in 2011. He also previously reached the top 10 with “No Sleep” and “Young, Wild & Free.”

Eminem (“The Monster”), Juicy J (“Dark Horse”), Pharrell Williams (“Happy”), and Iggy Azalea (“Fancy”) each had a number one single on the Hot 100 in 2014.

Kanye West’s “FourFiveSeconds” with Rihanna and Paul McCartney held the previous high for a rapper in 2015 when the song hit number 4 in February. Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” is currently at number four as well.
