(AllHipHop News) Atlanta rap star 2 Chainz has announced a new partnership with the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Hughes Spalding.
Representatives for the hospital announced 2 Chainz’ Tru Foundation has created a new playroom at the new Spalding facility.
Over the weekend, 2 Chainz Tru Foundation partnered with the Emerging 100 of Atlanta and handed out over 300 toys and more than 1000 lunch bags.
The event was hosted outside of his controversial Winter Wonderland Pink Trap House on Saturday, where the partnership was revealed.
“We are very excited to announce that we have adopted a Tru Foundation playroom at the new Spalding location,” Taylor Edwards with the Tru Foundation told 11Alive.
Thousands of people from the community joined 2 Chainz in the effort, which was held to benefit at-risk children and homeless people.
Some of the toys donated over the weekend will go to the new playroom for kids at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Hughes Spalding location.
