50 Cent and Justin Timberlake have made plans to perform a duet at the MOBO awards, even though they will be in different countries at the time of the event a source told AllHipHop.com.
The rapper, who is preparing to release his third album Curtis, will perform “Ayo Technology” with Timberlake live at London’s 02 Arena, but because Timberlake won’t be able to attend due to prior work commitments, he will be projected on to a big screen from the United States.
“It promises to be the performance of the night. They’re two of the biggest stars on the planet and are set to take the awards by storm,” a source told AllHipHop.com.
Other artists playing live with 50 Cent during the MOBO’s include Ne-Yo, Yung Joc, Robin Thicke and T-Pain.
The ceremony takes place at the 02 Arena on September 19 and will be hosted by Shaggy and Jamelia.
More performers will be announced next week.
Dizzee Rascal and Amy Winehouse lead the nominations with four each while 50 Cent and Kanye West battle it out for two prizes.
