New Orleans rapper B.G. has announced a November release date for his new album Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood today (October 1).
B.G., born Christopher Dorsey, will release Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood via a deal between his Chopper City imprint and Atlantic Records/E1 Music.
The album features a star studded lineup that includes former Hot Boyz Lil Wayne and Juvenile, as well as Young Jeezy, T.I., Lil Boosie and Trey Songz.
Producers rounding out Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood are Scott Storch, Cool & Dre, Justice League, KLC, Oddz n’ Endz, Salvage, Mannie Fresh and others.
“Sometimes I am denied my props but it’s cool,” B.G. told AllHipHop.com in statement. “I am coming back and taking everything the game owes me. It doesn’t owe me anything but respect. I’m still the hottest of the hot. At the end of the day, I just want the respect I truly deserve.”
B.G. laid down over 80 songs for the new album, which took over three years to craft.
“B.G. is an iconic artist who has been a force on the Hip-Hop scene for more than 15 years, said Atlantic Records’ Chairman Craig Kallman. “His rare longevity is a testament to B.G.’s enormous talent, charisma, and influence. We’re very happy to be partnering with Chopper City and E1 for the release of his much-anticipated new album.”
B.G.’s Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood is due in stores November 21.
