Cam’ron is going viral following a disastrous CNN interview to discuss Diddy’s recent apology to Cassie Ventura and the disturbing footage of the mogul violently assaulting his then-girlfriend.
The rapper-turned-sports podcaster awkwardly answered a few questions about Diddy before becoming frustrated and telling anchor Abby Phillip he was about to “get some cheeks,” and questioning why he was booked in the first place.
The interview began with Phillip asking his thoughts on the video. Cam’ron clarified that he doesn’t consider Diddy a friend, nor does he condone Diddy’s actions in the video or any of the allegations against him.
“Everything in the video is egregious, I’m against,” he replied. “So when I saw the video I was kinda upset being that I know him.”
Cam’ron became more frustrated when asked if he “recognizes that kind of anger” based on his personal experience of Diddy.
“I don’t know him like that. What do you mean did I recognize him? I seen him. What do you mean my experiences? I seen him and I thought it was disgusting,” Cam’ron stated.
The interview got progressively worse when Philip asked him about Diddy’s apology video.
“The apology ain’t for me, it’s for Cassie,” he fired back. “He ain’t do nothing for me. What I think about it don’t matter. You need to ask Cassie if she accepts the apology. I said what I said.”
The segment goes completely off the rails when Phillip asks Cam about the rumors of Diddy mistreating his artists. Cam’ron paused before answering to take a shot of his Pink Horse Power sex supplement.
“Sorry, I’m gonna’ go get some cheeks after this horse power drink,” he responded before brushing off the question and plugging his podcast.
However, by the time Phillip tried to ask about what was known about the Bad Boy Records founder behind the scenes, Cam had lost his patience.
“Who’s the talent agent for this joint?” he questioned. “You think I be sitting around watching what Diddy do? I didn’t know this was a Diddy joint that y’all invited me to. Who booked me for this joint?”
Cam’ron took to Instagram after the car crash interview to ask the question many were thinking.
“F### they invite me on CNN for,” he wrote alongside a clip of the interview.
