Faizon Love Says Snoop Dogg Could Have Prevented 2Pac From Getting Killed (VIDEO)

THE COMEDIAN/ACTOR SHARES HIS THOUGHTS ABOUT THE DEATH OF THE HIP HOP ICON

(AllHipHop News) With the All Eyez On Me movie based on Tupac Shakur hitting theaters last Friday, many people have expressed their feelings and opinions about the Hip Hop phenomenon.

Veteran comedian Faizon Love videotaped himself speaking about Pac and his relationship with Snoop Dogg.

“I always felt when Pac died it was because… Snoop could have stopped that whole thing,” said Love in the clip. “Snoop was a Crip. Pac offended some Crips doing some dumb n-gga, gang sh-t. It set off a whole chain of events. You know n-ggas in L.A. don’t get mad, they get even.”

There is speculation that Shakur was killed as a result of a violent encounter in Las Vegas with alleged Crips gang member Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson.

Pac’s label Death Row Records and its Blood gang affiliates were also rumored to be involved in a beef with California-based Crips.

According to Love, the Vegas shooting that caused Tupac to lose his life could have been prevented by him closely aligning with his “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” collaborator.

“Pac would be alive today if he had’a stayed allies with Snoop and not crossed Snoop,” stated the star of Friday and The New Edition Story. “Think about it. Out of all the songs Pac did, he only did one with Snoop.”

Reggie Wright, the former head of Death Row security, spoke to AllHipHop.com in 2014 about what he felt led to Pac getting killed in 1996.

“The Bloods and Crips assault at MGM,” Wright offered. “Of course [Anderson’s uncle Duane “Keffe D” Davis] was trying to save his life, but you don’t go implicate yourself and your nephew to a murder that you’re already suspected of. Then you implicate yourself to it? Keefe D’s statements are accurate to what happened.”

He continued, “That’s just what happens out here in the L.A. life and Vegas. Bloods not scared of Crips. Crips not scared of Bloods. Their mentality: you do something against them, then they gonna do something back against you. Orlando [Anderson] was from the Crips side, and the guys that did that in L.A. were from the Bloods side.”
