(AllHipHop News) The 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards aired last night. Several nominees were named as multiple winners.
J. Cole’s three victories were the most for this year. Dreamville’s head honcho won Lyricist Of The Year, Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse (“A Lot”) and Impact Track (“Middle Child”).
Cardi B went into the night with the most nominations (10). The Bronx-bred rhymer won two awards: Best Hip Hop Video (“Money”) and Made-You-Look Award (Best Hip Hop Style).
Travis Scott, Lil Nas X, and Megan Thee Stallion also won more than one award. Other winners included Nipsey Hussle, DJ Khaled, DaBaby, Mustard, and Jay-Z. Lil Kim was presented with the I Am Hip Hop Award.
