Director Quentin Tarantino has confirmed a third installment of his popular Kill Bill series of movies is on the way.
Tarantino made the announcement during a press conference yesterday (October 3) at the Morelia International Film Festival.
Hip-Hop producer The RZA produced, orchestrated and scored various scenes in the first two versions of the critically acclaimed films, which star Vivica Fox, Lucy Liu, Uma Thurman and others.
Tarantino offered no other information about the third installment of the Kill Bill series, although he revealed it wouldn’t be release until at least “2014,” to give Thurman’s character 10 years of peace.
At press time, RZA’s involvement in the third version of Kill Bill could not be confirmed.
In related news, RZA is currently working with actor Eli Roth, co-star of Tarantino’s latest hit film, Inglorious Basterds.
The pair are working on a script for a new martial arts film titled The Man With the Iron Fist.
A release date has yet to be confirmed for the movie.
