Kimmy Blanco is back with new tunes.

(AllHipHop News) It’s been a hell of a week for the Queen Bee. Kimberly “Lil Kim” Jones was honored with the I Am Hip Hop Award at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards and performed a medley of songs at the ceremony.

In addition, Lil Kim also let loose her first album since 2005’s The Naked Truth. The project, titled 9, hit DSPs today (October 11). Rick Ross, Musiq Soulchild, Rich The Kid, O.T. Genasis, and City Girls show up on the 9-track project.

9 is Kim’s first independent studio LP after parting ways with Atlantic Records in 2008. Queen Bee Entertainment and eOne released the Brooklyn legend’s latest body of work.

This year has seen several prominent female rappers drop albums. Besides Lil Kim, Lizzo (Cuz I Love You), Rico Nasty (Anger Management), Megan Thee Stallion (Fever), Trina (The One), Iggy Azalea (In My Defense), Missy Elliott (Iconology) and Rapsody (Eve) presented projects in 2019.
