Busta Rhymes is ready to leave his legal issues behind and get back to what matters: the music. During an interview with XXL, he said he is releasing a new album next year “without question.”
“I’m getting ready to launch the single within the next couple of weeks,” he said. “You’re going to be getting a few albums from Busta Rhymes. I ain’t put out an album in retail since 2009 when I dropped Back on My B.S. It’s been a long time and we’ve been cooking all these years. Don’t think for the slightest moment that these last few years I don’t have a phenomenal full course meal for the entire game. It’s definitely almost dinnertime.”
The Brooklyn native also has some big plans for his label, Conglomerate Ent.
“We got a new artist I’m getting ready to put out that recently been signed. I got a lot of projects on the film side; new albums and we’re going to be touring on the arena level.”
