Snoop Dogg To Host Flint Charity Basketball Game “Hoops 4 Water”

SNOOP HOSTING CHARITY B-BALL GAME FOR FLINT!

(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop icon and well-known hoopster Snoop Dogg will host a charity basketball game to raise money for victims of Flint’s water crisis called “Hoops 4 Water” reports recently revealed.

This event is being organized by Morris Peterson, former Toronto Raptors star and Flint native, and will take place this Saturday at 2pm at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center in Flint.

All proceeds from this event will go to the Morris Peterson Jr. Foundation for water relief efforts.

“I’ll tell you what, Snoop loves Flint. He is doing this from his heart, and he’s not asking for a dime. He’s coming down here on his own merit, and he’s concerned with what he can do for the city,” Peterson told Michigan Live when inquired about Snoop’s involvement in the event.

The Flint water crisis began in April 2014 after Michigan officials began to use the Flint River as a water source, but failed to add the proper chemical treatment causing the lead-poisoning crisis.
