(AllHipHop News) While Over It was projected to open at #1 on the Billboard 200, Summer Walker’s debut studio LP ended up landing at #2 on the chart. However, Walker did make history with her new album.
Over It collected 134,000 first-week equivalent album units. That total was partially made up of 155 million on-demand audio streams.

Walker now holds the record for the biggest on-demand streaming week for a female R&B artist surpassing Beyoncé’s Lemonade (115 million). She only trails The Weeknd’s Starboy (175 million) among all R&B acts.
“Wow..just found out Over It is the biggest debut album from a female r&b artist in over 10 years and had the biggest streaming week for a female r&b artist ever thank y’all so so much for the love & support y’all got us breaking records and sh*t!!! and special thank u to @londonondatrack & @lvrngram @interscope we makin history ,” wrote Walker on Instagram.
There are just four other female acts of any genre that have amassed more debut-week streams. Ariana Grande leads the list with Thank U, Next (307 million). The Pop superstar’s 2019 release is followed by Taylor Swift’s Lover (226 million), Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy (202 million), and Billie Eilish’s When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (194 million).
