(AllHipHop News) Last year, Tip “T.I.” Harris helped lead demonstrations against Houston’s restaurant in Atlanta over alleged mistreatment of minority customers and employees. T.I. has now called off the protests.

The rapper/actor released the following statement:

Over the past few months, we (me, Ernestine Johnson and Jay Morrison) have had some tough, yet productive discussions with Houston’s. Our goal was to bring to light specific issues that we felt they needed to address and correct. I am proud of the progress and look forward to continuing the dialogue and working together in the same communities that have helped make their business so successful.
