Kodak Black will not have the #1 album on next week’s Billboard 200 chart. The Pompano Beach, Florida native’s latest body of work is on pace to do less than 40,000 units in its opening week.
According to HitsDailyDouble, Black’s Kutthroat Bill: Vol. 1 will likely launch with 34,000-39,000 first-week units. That total would be a noticeable drop from the first-week numbers for his previous 2022 project.
Back for Everything debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 in March by amassing 60,000 album-equivalent units during the tracking period. So far, Kodak Black has only reached the #1 spot once with 2018’s Dying To Live.
The 25-year-old rapper does have four Top 10 entries in his catalog. Painting Pictures (#3) and Project Baby Two (#2) both opened in the Top 10 in 2017. Project Baby Two remained on the Billboard 200 for a career-best 85 weeks.
