Travis Scott Says His Version Of “Uber Everywhere” Isn’t A Remix

Sometimes it’s tough to get behind the mind of an artist and in this case Travis Scott def has us pondering why this isn’t a remix? Nevertheless this is a very dope piece of work from Mr. Scott who continues his tear after we heard snippets of this Tokyo joint. Posted with the song was this note on the Soundcloud – take from it what you will.

Can Fetty Wap Perform Nancy Reagan? The Internet Hopes So!

(AllHipHop News) In death, Nancy Reagan will certainly be revered, but some have taken a different approach to remember the former First Lady of America.

In an online, petition a man name David D. seeks to have Fetty Wap perform “Trap Queen” at Nancy’s Funeral, because she was married to the man largely responsible for pumping drugs in urban communities.

The petition outlines the claim, which has already garnered almost 4,000 supporters.

She was married to the money and introduced America to the stove…

Nancy Reagan passed away on March 6th, 2016, leaving an unforgettable legacy as the First Lady of the United States. But beyond being the First Lady, Nancy Reagan holds the important legacy as being the most famous Trap Queen in American history.

While her husband, Ronald Reagan, was linking up with Papi to flood the streets with narcotics, Nancy was on TV telling kids to “Say No To Drugs.” Her infamous “anti-drug” phrase encouraged strict laws on drug possession that led to a school-to-prison pipeline we’re still dealing with now. Blacks and Latinos went to jail in droves for possessing drugs her husband gave them. It was an incredible sleight of hand that would make any wannabe Trap Queen hide in shame for her inability to be as diabolical as Nancy.

So, to commemorate her contribution to the Trap, we’d love to have Fetty Wap perform “Trap Queen” at Nancy’s funeral. To usher her to a better place…where she’s probably cooking pies with her baby.

The letter will be submitted to the White House, but the likelihood of this happening is next to nothing.

Killer Mike outlined the history of Ronald Reagan’s history on the song “Reagan.”

The 7 Dopest Clips From The 2 Chainz x Lil Wayne ‘Collegrove’ Album

When the Collegrove tape dropped last week, we knew that 2 Chainz and Wayne were going to drop a project full of one-liners, punchlines and all the dope their swag could hold – but we had no idea how great the project would be!  It really feels like 2 Chainz has brought Wayne back officially, as Wayne’s lyrics seem like the Wayne of old.

Take a look at some of the best lines from the project, as the fellas flip their words, and make you realize why they are so good at what they do.  Did you know Project Pat was 2 Chainz role model? Or did you know that Wayne felt Ludacris was foolish for letting 2 Chainz and Playaz Circle go from DTP?  Did you now Wayne doesn’t dab and dance? There’s a lot we learn on this project, not to mention the dope lyrics.
Check it out and enjoy below! We’ve included the Spotify album link as well so you can listen along.

1. “Dedication” – Chainz talks about his relationship with Wayne and a trip that he took down to Miami before he blew up. This is like a homage track to Wayne for helping 2 Chainz over the years. Crazy part is how Wayne said Luda was foolish for not seeing Chainz potential. Was Nicki messing with Gucci Mane?

“Ridin’ off in the Phantom, and Mr. G he was driving
Pumpin’ that Playaz Circle, you told me that we was riding
And I told you that I was rappin’, I told you I wasn’t writing
You said Luda was foolish because he wasn’t excited
That was way before Tyga, I saw Nicki with Gucci” -2 Chainz

2. “Bentley Truck” – Wayne stunts in classic fashion, saying he doesn’t dab and doesn’t dance, but what he does with the letters in start of his verse is DOPE!

“But this ain’t NBA, this the CEO
And this ain’t MMA, but this a TKO
Rolls Royce Wraith, I park that b#### and skate
I talk that s###, she caught that line, I call that fish filet
And all of my n##### is A1, and y’all lil n##### look like steak (well done)
And all my woes is athletic, and all of my hoes is getting pregnant
Don’t dab, don’t dance
Do me, own swag
Leather soft, you n##### softer
What’s that smell? Rigor mortis” – Lil Wayne

3. “Gotta Lotta” – 2 Chainz lets us know how his life is completely entwined with lean and snatch from breakfast to the late night strip club. Then the line about the bands on the football field was pretty clever too.

“Got the girl p#### smelling like Codeine Syrup
Got the bands on me like a football field, I’m ill
I deserve a threesome for my birthday
If she pretty its Magic City on the first date
Cup of lean and toast, yeah I’m ‘posed to boast” -2 Chainz

4. “Smell Like Money” – Really in all reality Wayne’s whole verse on this song is straight flames, but the end with the concept of the ankles and wrists, and then to rhyme Anchorage at the same time?  He’s just killin it, this is #classic Wayne. The guy is on fire right now, we better watch out for his next project.

“What you do it for if it ain’t for this
I watch my step so much, I’m starting to feel like my ankles’ wrist
Cold hearted, starting to feel like I’m in Anchorage when I think of this
And rude awakenings get taken in like fragrances” – Lil Wayne

5. “Rolls Royce Weather” – Anyone that ever questioned 2 Chainz commitment to the streets might need to go check his resumé. But it didn’t start all glamorous like it seems, Tauheed was servin’ in the hood at an early age and everything ain’t pretty in the dope game.

“‘Member twelfth grade I sold some work to undercover
Mama only child we stayed in a one bedroom (tru)
Used to ride MARTA ‘cause it had more leg room
I’m a ghetto boy, I came up on Brad Jordan
First lick I made, I bought five pairs of Jordans” – 2 Chainz

6. “Bounce” – Your boy is at it again, Wayne is back and this line proves it. From the mafia line about cutting off fingers to the Daffy duck, sitting duck line, this one is a wrap!

“Caught up in my b#######, put your head on backwards
And skate off after, engage in laughter ‘bout what just happened
Fingers in napkins get sent to mammies; is that too graphic?
Catch you in traffic, you sitting daffy like stealing candy” – Lil Wayne

7. “100 Joints” – We learn that ladies that want to be with 2 Chainz better be prepared to travel out of the country, and that Project Pat was his role model on his come up in the trap / rap game.

“No matter what they say 100 joints a day
I had ’em pre rolled all yesterday
You need your passport for our second date
You know I’m fly n#### rocking reptiles
I’m whooping on this beat like a step child
Big ring and a charm to match
Ya my role model was Project Pat” – 2 Chainz

Karrine “Superhead” Steffans Calls Oprah A Hoe!

Karrine “Superhead” Steffans always has an opinion, and this time the veteran industy hoe author may have gone too far by calling Oprah a hoe. While Karrine took a moment to discuss her come up and “success story” online. She also said Oprah turned into a hoe after she was raped. Karrine was a little bit bothered when a woman told her that she looked up to Oprah, and she wanted to be like Lady O, not her. Karrine clapped back explaining that Oprah had the same story as her, and more money doesn’t make the truth go away. Superhead go back to doing what you do best; you are out of line with this one.

No More CDs From Kanye West

(AllHipHop Music) The physical CD has been going the way of the cassette tape and now Kanye West seems to expedite the demise of the tech artifact.

The rapper/fashion designer has proclaimed on Twitter that he will no longer be creating CDs for his music. The rapper’s most recent effort, The Life Of Pablo, was released exclusively on Jay Z’s TIDAL streaming service and never was distributed to any other outlet. As a result, the subscriber base at TIDAL reportedly doubled.

Kim K. don’t give a damn! The days of Playboy are long gone, because chicks give it away for free now! Kanye’s wife is ill! Not exactly. The socialite posted a naked selfie on Instagram, which was censored by the star. Now, I think she would go all the way nude if the censors would not take it down. Not like we have not seen this before.

Katt Williams Attacks Man, Gets Stomped Out In Philly

The story of Katt Williams is getting stranger and stranger, especially if you maintain he does not do drugs. Throwing this out there early – his girlfriend maintains the extremely funny comic does NOT do drugs. That said, Katt was recorded over he weekend attacking a man, seemingly out of nowhere. He was subsequently pummeled and stomped OUT. Now Katt is the man, but this warrants some explanation. Katt has also stated that he did not get robbed after he was stomped on. All of this allegedly happened at a Beanie Sigel concert.

Here is Katt allegedly jumping on a man in full attack mode.

And here is him getting stomped on, allegedly.

And here is some very odd behavior some have described as “Crack-ish,” which is a dope name for a show.

What do you think of this? I’m not sure anymore. But he sure acts like the dude on the corner.

EXCLUSIVE: Smoke DZA Explains Why You’ll Never See Him In A Battle Rap League Or On ‘Love & Hip Hop’

(AllHipHop Features) In the first part of my interview with Smoke DZA, the Harlem based rhymer talked about his new album He Has Risen with Harry Fraud. For the second half of the Q&A, DZA discusses his past as a battle rapper and why fans will not see him participating in the new era of that form of Hip Hop any time soon.

Facing off against Hollow Da Don, Dizaster, or Daylyt is not in the near future for DZA, and it appears jumping in front of the camera for “ratchet” reality television is out of the question as well. The Kushed God shares his thoughts on avoiding the Love & Hip Hop franchise but being open to following in the TV footsteps of Clifford “T.I.” Harris.

[ALSO READ: EXCLUSIVE: Smoke DZA Talks ‘He Has Risen’ Joint Album With Harry Fraud, NYC Hip Hop, & Expanding His Film Career]

You used to battle rap, and you have a connection to Dot Mob. Are you interested in jumping into that culture now like Joe Budden and Cassidy?

Hell no! That sh*t is dusty. That some last leg sh*t. That’s equivalent to going to Love & Hip Hop. No disrespect to the guys that pioneered that thing like the Murda Mooks of the world – who happens to be a good friend of mine – but hell no. I’m not interested in getting back into that.

I was battling before battling was commercial. This is before SMACK DVDs and The Come Up DVDs. This is pre-camcorder, before sh*t was getting publicized. I was battling when it was a feeling in the street.

This is my high school days. I went to Brandeis. Anybody that went to school in New York City in the early 2000’s knows about Louis D Brandeis, probably one of the worst schools in New York City. That was my stomping ground. I’m not even one of those guys that’s like, “I’m a super tough street n*gga.” But you had to be some kind of tough n*gga to survive at Brandeis.

My talent took me a long way. I was battling then. My guidance counselor used to pay for my studio time. I was put on shows to battle kids from other schools that came looking for me. That was the feeling.

So we shouldn’t expect to see you on Smack or King Of The Dot anytime soon, huh? [laughs]

[laughs] You will never see me on none of them sh*ts unless I’m there watching, and if I’m there watching it’s probably for a Murda Mook battle. He’s the Floyd Mayweather of that sh*t.

Do you think Drake’s ever going to step up and take that challenge?

I doubt it.

You said battling for you is like doing Love & Hip Hop. So reality TV is out for you too?

Hell yeah! I got offers for sh*t like that too. You got to be a certain kind of individual for that. I’m not built for that. I’m not willing to auction my life for that. I’m way more classy than that.

What about a scripted show like Empire?

That’s different. That’s acting. Even with Love & Hip Hop, it’s acting, but it’s not considered acting because they’re trying to promote it as something real. So a lot of lives get misconstrued in all of this, like my man Peter Gunz. That’s my big homie. But even with it being scripted, you got to be able to embrace the hate. Everybody can’t embrace the hate. Everybody’s family can’t embrace the hate either. That’s definitely not for me.

But if it’s on a scripted level like an Empire or Power, or even if it was a reality TV show like what Tip is doing with [The Family Hustle],  I would be interested in that kind of reality TV. It’s homely and not ratchet. Anything that’s not ratchet television, where I could get my kids to be superstars and people could see how my wife blacks on me, that would be cool. But other than that, I’m content with not being involved with no f*ckery. I’m no f*ckery DZA.

Cam’ron Discusses His Issues With Karen Civil, Praises Jay Z (AUDIO)

(AllHipHop News) Karen Civil started a very public spat with Cam’ron after she relayed a story about how the Dipset leader’s alleged unwillingness to give up a parking spot to Jay Z led to his removal from Def Jam Records. Cam fired back by claiming Civil stole $60,000 from fellow Diplomats representative DukeDaGod.

[ALSO READ: Cam’ron Blasts Karen Civil Over Comments About Feud With Jay Z]

During an interview with the BUBZWORLD podcast, Cam addressed his issues with Civil. The Purple Haze album creator suggested Civil’s comments were also discrediting Jay, and the Harlem native stated he only saw his former Roc-A-Fella boss travel by car with a driver.

“Why would he be looking for a parking spot when he has a driver? And it’s no parking on the block she’s talking about anyway,” said Cam. “Why would you even make Jay Z seem like he’s that type? He wasn’t that type of person to be looking at people like, ‘I want a parking spot.’ So I thought the story was ridiculous.”

Cam went on to explain how he supposedly got Civil a position at Warner Bros Records. He also answered the critics that said he was “dissing” the Be You & Live Civil author.

“I didn’t diss Karen. I told what’s real, and I told the facts. She said my name before I said her name. I haven’t mentioned that girl’s name in years,” Cam stated. “I don’t know if I started [her being cyber bullied], but if I did, that wasn’t my intention. My intentions were to defend myself, and to defend my business reputation, and to defend – in a weird way – me and Jay Z’s ‘cool and bad’ relationship.”

Jay Z and Cam’ron have had a tenuous history. However, the “Oh Boy” rhymer made it clear he still respects Jay for his business accomplishments.

Cam added, “Other people think that’s my arch-nemesis, my enemy. Listen B, that man is from the ghetto, he’s from Marcy Projects like all of us from the inner-city. And to be where he’s at now is amazing, amazing as a black youth growing up in New York City to make it to where he’s at.”

In addition, Cam’ron questioned why Civil has not publicly addressed the allegations that she took money from several of her clients. He also accused certain media outlets of refusing to run negative stories about Civil because they are closely associated.
