Meek clearly got wind of Beanie’s words. The fellow Philadelphia native fired back in a series of subliminal Instagram posts.
One IG message featured Meek uploading a text supposedly from Beanie where the Philly legend appears to take Meek’s side in his feud against Game.
The writer of the text also criticized newcomer Lil Uzi Vert for not properly representing Philadelphia.
Meek wrote in the caption:
All good a week ago!
[Lil Uzi Vert] don’t mind that shot that’s how n-ggas talk when you winning!
ONE MIN THEY TALKING LIKE THIS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS THEN THEY TALKING LIKE THAT? I CANT BELIEVE “n#%gas” went out like that

Later, Meek got back on Instagram to upload videos of himself listening to The Notorious B.I.G.’s “My Downfall.”
The track off Biggie’s 1997 album Life After Death consists of Bad Boy founder Puff Daddy Combs saying:
Jealousy’s a motherf-cker, you weak jealous motherf-ckers!
If you a jealous motherf-cker, you just a weak motherf-cker!
See when you on top, motherf-ckers just wanna bring you down!
Motherf-ckers don’t even know you, and they don’t like you
(AllHipHop News) New Jersey rapper Fetty Wap is now the target of a lawsuit claiming that the artist and his producer stole the beat for Fetty Wap’s smash hit “Trap Queen.”
TMZ reports that Danish songwriter Lazar Likic claims that he purchased exclusive rights to an instrumental entitled “Hello,” from producer Tony Fadd, which then went on to be sampled for the creation of the hit track.
Additionally, Lakic claims that Fadd contacted him in 2015 in an attempt to buy back the exclusive rights, but he declined.
Fetty Wap’s attorney Navarro Gray stated that the rapper legally purchased the beat from Fadd with a contract in place and if Likic is awarded damages Fadd will be pursued to cover the costs.
Likic is suing for profits from the track and also wants to halt all the sales and destroy all copies of “Trap Queen,” featuring samples from the “Hello,” instrumental.
French Montana recently decided to pay a visit to the Aces in Queen strip club with Fat Joe and Remy Ma.
However, on his way home, the police pulled over his SUV. French wasted no time filming the encounter.
French was clearly irritated, but he made sure to let the officers know that “black lives matter.”
He posted the video to his Instagram with a caption that said,
“F*CK THE POLICE only a few good ones left man ✊? #afterclubvibes”
French was pretty light-hearted throughout the entire ordeal, but fortunately he was able to laugh it off and not become a hashtag like so many other men that we’ve lost.

In step with the times, “Empire” would seem to be going straight to today’s news in regards to what can happen these days to any Black person on America’s streets these days – no matter how many Gs are in your bank account.
Last week’s premiere showcased a new song with lyrics about Alton Sterling, Sandra Bland and Trayvon Martin. This week’s episode ends with Andre on the ground on the wrong side of a police officer’s gun in the upscale neighborhood where he used to live with his deceased wife Rhonda. It would seem that with these episodes “Empire” is looking to make a rather pointed statement about what is happening to people of color in America today. For this, they should be commended.
With tonight’s season 3 episode 2 titled “Sin That Amends,” gun violence – both within the Black community and between law officials and the community – definitely takes center stage. However, in a deft balance of reality to fantasy, “Empire” isn’t forgetting that it is a soap opera in the midst of tackling these tough issues.
Taye Diggs is introduced as city councilman Angelo Dubois, a character who both annoys and beguiles Cookie as a government official who uses Jamal’s near death shooting to promote and publicize his own teen summit against gun violence. With Dubois being set up as a “bougie” romantic alternative for Cookie in contrast to the always “street” Lucious, it should be an even more combustible situation when Phylicia Rashad shows up as Angelo Dubois’ mother. However, until then, this episode delivers a dramatic punch when Lucious manipulates the summit to expose Jamal’s inability to perform due to the PTSD he is suffering as a result of being shot by Freda Gatz. It’s a great set piece for Lucious’ brutally ruthless ways as well as a realistic nod to the very real after effects of gun violence on survivors.
As for music, due to the considerable time given to gun violence, there is only one original song on tap. Thankfully, in stark contrast to last week’s premiere, this rap is a pretty good one. As it is once again something Hakeem is working on in the studio, it could be considered a much more satisfying do over from last week’s humdrum perf. This current collaboration between Hakeem and Nessa on the rich subject of “first you hate me/ then you love me,” has something besides just a good hook and a dose sex appeal of performance chemistry. That Shine then destroys the whole flow by physically attacking someone who looks at Nessa’s body “wrong” just plays to the entire episode’s riff on violence. The added bonus for future episodes? There might be some incestuous skeletons in Nessa and Shine’s past when it comes to Shine’s sudden rage when anybody even looks like they might like his niece. And exactly who seems to be liking Nessa for more more than just her physical attributes? Hakeem, of course.
As for the other musical must see moment, it’s an unabashed throwback, but Biz Markie is on point when he does “Just A Friend” for Cookie as a favor to Lucious. Also, to Biz’s credit, the years have been kind. Looks like he’s been doing a couple of gym reps over the years. Nice work on all counts, Biz.
Last but not least, another thick thread running through this week’s latest installment? Loyalty. Becky, who still has yet to get her richly deserved AR executive position at Empire, gets an ultimatum from her man. he loves her, but he’s leaving Empire and he’s set up an AR position for her also if she can find it in her heart to go for her own interests over those of Lucious and Cookie.
So does Becky say goodbye or does she get caught up with the rest of the Lyons in some mess with the feds? Does Andre get shot in his old affluent/ “white” neighborhood for being black, or does he survive another day? Will “Empire” have more than just one good original song per episode next week? We’ll just have to wait and see.
“Empire” airs Wednesdays at 9:00/8:00 central on FOX.
(AllHipHop News) The Beanie Sigel and Meek Mill beef has spiraled out of control, peaking with a physical assault of the rap legend. Now, Sigel is talking at length about the extend of his issues with Meek and crew.
“Once I heard they were making their diss record to Game. I said ‘Aiiight, this is how I’ma get Meek to feel comfortable to be around me. This is how I’ma get him. I go there. I didn’t write Omelly first verse. I didn’t write all of his second verse. But the majority of it…that’s facts. Nas is playing games, lying and saying I ain’t write that sht. Stand up for the other brothers was in the room who know that. Stop being cowards and stand the fk up. Tell the truth, n***as! ‘Cause what don’t come out in the way, gonna come out in the rinse. Facts.”
Beanie also stated that he was in the booth giving lyrics to Meek Mill and he explained how he and The Game managed to quell their beef. The Game even says that his approach to beef was influenced by the Philly rappers beef with The Lox.
“Everybody was for you cuz. It was at a time when n##### rooted for Meek,” Beanie stated as he continued. “Now it’s to the point where your fuckery is becoming transparent. Now you at a place where n***as is saying man you misrepresenting Philadelphia… You want the respect that I got but you can’t, you gotta earn it. You argue with people in your comments to the point where you worry about what the peanut gallery got to say and not worry about what the thoroughbreds think about you. F### the peanut gallery.”
Beanie Sigel is one of the most official rap artists ever. EVER. And when it comes to that street pedigree, he’s 100% official too. So, here were go. One of Meek Mill’s boys knocked Beanie Sigel out. No bueno. Anyway, now Beans is talking and saying a LOT.
The Game’s manager, Wack100, and rap veteran Maino certainly haven’t been seeing eye-to-eye on the Meek Mill and Game beef, and like everyone else, their feelings have spilled over to social media.
Wack singled out Maino on Instagram by accusing him of supporting both sides in this rap rival.
Maino wasn’t with the sh*ts so he took to Instagram to tell Wack that he felt like people in Brooklyn had no business being in a video about a beef that had nothing to do with them or Brooklyn.
Maino says that he and Wack had already had a conversation as men, so he couldn’t understand why if Wack heard something after the fact, why would he take to social media instead of calling him up?
Maino also told Wack that typing on the ‘gram isn’t gangsta at all, and he can certainly get that fade he’s apparently looking for.
Mannnnnn it’s so many people involved in this beef now. If it came down to it, who do you think would win in the fight between Wack and Maino?

(AllHipHop Features) Luiz “Cipha Sounds” Diaz will be one of the high-profile performers to hit the stage at the TIDAL X: 1015 charity concert in New York City next month.
Besides preparing to spin his turntables for the Tidal sponsored music event, Cipha Sounds has also used the entertainment platform to host his No Small Talk comedy series and present a 22-track “Hits By Cipha” playlist.
When I recently spoke with the Bronx native, Ciph talked about his extensive relationship with the Jay Z-led streaming service.
In addition, the co-host of the long-running Juan Epstein podcast and former Hot 97 radio personality brought up his travels with comedic legend Dave Chappelle.
Television viewers can also be on the lookout for a new program based on Cipha Sounds’ live Take It Personal: Hip Hop Improv Show held at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre East Village.
I saw you did a playlist for Tidal. What was your thought process for picking those particular songs?
I noticed that Tidal is really good with the Tidal Rising artists, new artists, and new releases. But my theory was sometimes there’s a girl that works in the doctor’s office that just wants to hear all her favorite songs in a row.
The playlists on Tidal are made by dope people and they’re very conceptual like the 2Pac samples
for the 20th anniversary of his death. But sometimes you just want to hear your favorite songs in a row. That comes from radio training.
To me, it’s just a regular list of dope joints. But everybody’s been hitting me like, “I’ve been listening to your playlist.” I didn’t know it was going to have an impact like that. I got more coming.
What has been your experience working with Tidal?
Artists are the number one thing. There are artists coming in there every day, superstars like T.I. I saw Ty Dolla $ign there the other day. New artists too. It feels like home there. It’s an artist-friendly, artist-driven place. The artists run it. They feel welcome there.
How did the [Ciph] documentary come together?
That sh-t came out of nowhere. I was in London. I met this kid who was a bellman of the hotel. I was real cool to him and we were hanging out a little bit. He said he was coming to New York, so I told him to come to my comedy show.
He said, “I film stuff and do promo stuff for the Ace hotel. I want to film you.” I said, “Yeah, whatever.” Over the course of a year, he came to New York like three times and filmed me.
To be honest, it was a little bit annoying at times. I thought, “Why did I say yes to this? Why am I doing this?” Then he hits me a couple of months later like, “It’s coming out. BET wants to air it.” I was like, “What!?! How the f-ck did you get that?”
Then he put it out and I got mad love because of it. It was crazy. I was thinking, “Why would anyone want to watch a documentary on me?”
I feel like when you get a documentary made about you, that’s like that “stamp.”
Yeah. I was like, “Who wants to see this? Who cares?” That sh-t was really heartfelt. I was getting messages and people calling me. I was like, “This is cool!”
Comedy is great. I was just in London with Dave Chappelle.
Wait, you can’t say that so nonchalantly. [laughs]
That’s how it is though. Dave is nonchalant. The way he asked me to go to London with him… first of all, he was going to a big fight. I was like, “What’s up with that fight? I want to go.”
He said, “You want to work? I’m doing like seven shows out there.” That’s how he asked me. In the middle of a different conversation.
All the shows sold out. It was mad fun. That’s how he is. He’s a regular dude. He just happens to be the funniest guy on the planet.
I read that you’re working with Alicia Keys on a project. Is that still happening?
Yeah, for a TV version of [the Take It Personal: Hip Hop Improv Show]. We just signed a deal. I can’t say where yet, but we’re starting to work on it now. It’s a lot of steps, but it’s looking real good. I also got another season of No Small Talk coming out on Tidal. We’re about to shoot that in a couple of days.

Things are certainly spiraling out of control for rapper Famous Dex.
Last week a video went viral as he was caught on surveillance footage beating his girlfriend in an apartment hallway after he found out she cheated on him.
The incident has caused him to receive much public backlash, including the loss of his endorsement deal with Puma.
Dex has since apologized to his fans saying that it was the work of the devil and that no one is perfect.
Just when it seemed that Dex had a positive outlook on life, it looks like he’s actually contemplating suicide.
He posted an Instagram post that said,
“I Just Wanna Kill Myself Oml.”
He even tweeted,
“I’m Done.”
While everyone makes mistakes, such occurrences like domestic violence should NEVER happen! While Dexter is still popular, the fan support has been up and down.
Someone check on Famous Dex and get him in some anger management classes.
