I feel bad for this dude. You know, we forget that WE JUST WANNA EAT! Like…its not just rap. Cats are feeding their family with this rap sh*t! So, while I don’t know much about Tory Lanez yet, I can see the desperation in his face when he openly says he wants no beef with Drake at all. Spar this man, Drake!!
Earlier this week, Tomi Lahren had some words to say about Beyonce’s controversial Super Bowl halftime performance during her segment “Final Thoughts With Tomi” on The Blaze. The reporter not only ranted about the pop singer a day after her afrocentric set, but also called out Jay-Z about his past before the fame.
“Your husband was a drug dealer. For fourteen years, he sold crack cocaine. You want to help the Black community, start at home.”
Although Lahren made the blasphemous comment, Jigga wasn’t really hurting. He actually laughed it off. The rapper was caught laughing at Lahren’s statement recently by Tax Stone, the host of Tax Season Live.
(AllHipHop News) Rhymefest is a rapper that has worked with Kanye West repeatedly, even helped the fellow Chi-Town rapper with his own writing for songs like “Jesus Walks” and “New Slaves.” That is until last month, when Fest’ quit being Ye’s co-writer, according to Billboard. Yesterday, after fans hit up the “Brand New” rapper on Twitter, Rhymefest explains that he made the decision to stop working with Yeezy because his “mind and spirit wasn’t right.”
Along with Rhymefest career writing for Kanye, the rapper also had a brief career as a solo act. However, Fest’ has best worked behind the shadows of the hit songs we all know from West. Kanye has recently been in the spotlight because of his highly anticipated album The Life Of Pablo.
There’s a very good chance that we will be blessed with a new Vic Mensa album sometime this year. The newly-signed Roc Nation rapper recently released new music via Soundcloud. The new track, titled “Danger”, is another banger from Mensa produced by Papi Beatz. According to Illroots, “Danger” originally premiered during Kanye West Yeezy Season 3 event in New York.
A$AP Rocky may not be releasing a new album anytime soon, but he is dropping new heat every Wednesday. The Harlem rapper responded to one of his Twitter fans, announcing the creation of “Wavy Wednesdays” as his prime day to release new music. According to HYPETRAK, Rocky has been already releasing a plethora of music on Twitter, but yesterday was the first time he made the announcement. There is no info on whether this means that we will hear new music from just A$AP Rocky or the entire A$APO Mob.
After years of his steadily rise to the top of musical stardom, Kendrick Lamar has earned an award that is literally close-to-home, the key of Compton. The TDE rapper was awarded the city key earlier today, and several attendants came to the event to show love. According to Pitchfork, Lamar’s award ceremony featured an “Alright” inspired speech by the city’s mayor Aja Brown. School students were also present to sing Kendrick Lamar’s two critical tracks “i” and “Alright.”
Although the award ceremony was positive, there were some possible shots thrown at different entities. One of the speakers dissed “Young Thug” and Rich Homie Quan, and officials even said that the key of Compton was way better than Drake’s key of Toronto, according to the report. Among many of the people there or Kendrick’s award, fellow Compton rapper YG also attended the ceremony.
As we’ve said in regards to the movie “Zoolander 2” which opened nationwide yesterday, February 12, 2016, just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend, they’ve pulled out all of the stops when it comes to extra content to go with this second comedic take on the Zoolander and Hansel view of the wide world of modeling.
Seeing as All Hip Hop is always looking out for anything that falls under our purview when it comes to music, when we saw that “Zoolander 2” had a remix of “Relax,” the debut single by Frankie Goes To Hollywood that was originally released in the United Kingdom by ZTT records in 1983 to epic success, we had to check out the ” Zoolander 2″ redo and bring it straight to you. As is always the case, a little Hip Hop flavor goes a long way in making all things better, so it is no wonder that this remix features A$AP Rocky bringing his flow. If you go to see the actual movie in theaters, you can actually see A$AP Rocky doing his thing for a minute as part of the “Zoolander 2″ end credit roll.
We would love to show you that end credit roll footage right here, but for many reasons that would involve lawyers galore, we just can’t. However, what we can do is give you a little taste of what it’s all about via Evil DJ of ” Zoolander 2″ spinning the remix, which we’ve got right here:
So you be the judge – A$AP Rocky, is he in, or is he out on this one? Heidi Klum wouldn’t hold back, so neither should you.

In a deft tribute to the original “Zoolander” as well as perhaps an unconscious nod to Hansel’s fairytale namesake of the Hansel and Gretel variety, the folks behind “Zoolander 2” have left many social media and live interactive “Zoolander” themed crumbs for fans both old and new to enjoy leading up to this friday’s nationwide theatrical release of “Zoolander 2” on February 12, 2016, starring Ben Stiller as Zoolander, Owen Wilson as Hansel and Penelope Cruz as Valentina.
There have been some great social media bites available for view with some of the best being The House Of Atoz’s promo for Youth Milk with the fabulously expressionless Alexanya Atoz, as played brilliantly by Kristen Wiig:
And another favorite has to be where Zoolander gets his better bovine on with one of our favorite models of all time, Naomi Campbell:
However, when it came to interactive events that where exclusively IRL, one that we particularly liked was “The Derek Zoolander Memorial for Models Who Were Killed By A Freak Gasoline Fight Accident,” which ran February 6-11 in the parking lot of the ever popular Swingers Diner in the heart of Los Angeles. Replete with on site models, gas pumps, a commemorative jeep, wishing well, free drinks and a wall with pics of the fallen, it was some kind of model fantastic, as pictured here:

I don’t know about you, but it’s just doesn’t seem right to hate on any event that ends with a model earning their very own angel wings.
Although Kanye’s project The Life of Pablo is available to stream via TIDAL, the anticipated yet album has yet to have an actual scheduled release date for the general office. T.L.O.P. was supposed to release February 12th, but was only available through Jay-Z’s service. However, Ye went to Twitter explain his delay for the album, claiming that Chance’s The Rapper is the blame.
The Surf rapper wanted the song “Waves” to be on the album, he tweeted that he was up all night trying to finish the song. Obviously, “Waves” ended up getting on the final tracklist for The Life of Pablo, which was announced last night.
I fought everyone to keep Waves on the album. I spent all night finishing it. The world is better because of it.
Dee-1 tackles the issue facing all students in higher education! This is likely the anthem of any student trying to get out of debt. Check out “Sallie Mae Back.”

Top 5 Dating App Tips:
LOOK FRESH
It doesn’t matter if you look like Tyson Beckford or Draya Michelle in your profile. What really matters is how interesting you look. You want to make sure you have at least 3 to 4 photos that include at least one headshot, one body shot, an outdoorsy pic (users like an active man or woman), and a picture of you in your favorite suit, tux, or dress. It’s very important for your photos to show personality. If you like playing sports, but also like going to the beach, include photos of both. Pictures of you at the club wearing sunglasses and holding a bottle of Hennessey isn’t going to get you many matches.
ADD A BIO
Everyone loves a mystery, but leaving your description blank isn’t the right place to play mysterious. Our data shows that users with a bio increase their chances of being liked by 20%. If you have an interesting job or talent, show it off. Users only take a few seconds to decide on you, so selling yourself through your bio is key. Find ways to stand out by being different and unique. If you’re funny, you should definitely find some creative ways to show that – huge plus!
BREAK THE ICE
When you first message your match, it’s important to keep it short and playful. Don’t use cheesy pickup lines; rather comment about one of their photos or something you read in their bio. Your match will love the fact that you actually took the time to review their profile and immediately begin to feel more comfortable. You can even use emojis or joke about something going on in tabloids at the moment. If you’re confident and lively in your conversation, you’ll have that first date in no time.
USE THE APP DURING RUSH HOUR
Most users are on around 8PM and if you play your cards right, you’ll find yourself getting a lot more matches than usual. Since we tend to show you more users that are currently online, SoulSwipe rush hour is a prime time to rack up those matches.
BE YOURSELF
It’s normal to want to be the best version of yourself, especially when it comes to public perception and yes, even dating apps. However, not being authentic will definitely end up hurting you in the long run. Be yourself and there’s a much higher chance that you’ll end up attracting mister or misses right.
Top 5 Dating Tips:
PLAY HARD TO GET
It’s easy for immediate attraction to occur, but you can’t let your guard down easy. The chase won’t be fun if you’re no longer a mystery. Remember, people always want what they can’t have.
DON’T TAKE YOURSELF TOO SERIOUSLY
Who doesn’t like some fun? Of course they want you to be serious about your career and relationships, but they don’t want someone that’s constantly serious. It’s important to make people laugh and most importantly learn to laugh at yourself. Loosen up and have some fun!
THERE’S NO HARM IN CHARM
Don’t listen to people when they say “Charm can’t be taught” or “You either have it or you don’t”. Charm is all about being confident, respectful, and polite. You can easily acquire it by being on your best behavior. It’s amazing what a simple please and thank you can do.
INTEGRITY IS KEY
Integrity has been voted as one of the most important qualities men and women look for in a relationship. Trust is very important, but people also want to feel comfortable and proud about the idea of potentially introducing you to their parents. A mother’s approval is everything. You don’t want to go through a breakup where your former partner has Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” playing on repeat.
STAND OUT
We know it’s tough to be the center of attention without seeming like an attention w####. However, there are ways of stealing the scene when you’re out in public without being too flashy or loud. Do your best to be the most well dressed person in the room and supplement that style with your great sense of humor and an intimate conversation. Pretty soon, nobody will be able to keep their eyes…. or hands off of you.
(AllHipHop News) Dr. Dre and Apple are making a big leap into scripted television.
Dre will star in a 6-episode series called “Vital Signs,” which is semi-autobiographical escape into the rapper’s emotional side.
Apparently, a sex scene was taped on Monday and Tuesday in a Los Angeles mansion with actor Sam Rockwell and Mo McCrae. Paul Hunter, a veteran of the music game, will direct each 30 minute episode.
No premiere date has been set and exactly how “Vital Signs” will be distributed has not been revealed. It is expected to be available on Apple Music, Apple TV and iTunes.
Vital Signs is Apple’s first attempted at scripted TV.

YOOOOOOOOOOO! This is crazy! This guy picks the Super Bowl just about ever year. Now at first he calls the Super Bowl “a distraction,” but he takes it all wayyyyyyy farther than that. Not only did he predict the outcome of the Super Bowl to a TEA. But, then he goes farther and maintains that Cam Newton and Peyton Manning are “low level masons.” And, then have maintains that the “gay agenda” was in full swing as well during the colorful half-time display. Others (not this dude) have said that Beyonce was the anti-cop movement, which I don’t believe.
For those of you who thought we forgot on our Empire Hood By Air contest at the end of 2015, the winners are in!
Huge congratulations to our all girl winner’s crew of Keesha Robinson, Tabitha Nauser and Jeandra Le Beauf. For those Johnny Come Lately dudes who want to hate because it was all women who each won just under $400 in high fashion Hood By Air “Empire” themed merchandise, next time more of you have got to participate on that masculine tip, ya dig?
Again ladies, much All Hip Hop love to you for the continued love that you give us. Without you and more like you, we are not here.
To the credit of it’s creators and press team, “Zoolander 2” has had an incredible social media campaign leading up to the release of the actual movie itself this February 12, 2016 in advance of Valentine’s Day weekend. Indeed the intricacy and spot on nature of the campaign is a wholly self sufficient and brilliantly satisfying theatre unto itself. They have the flawless skincare promo for The House Of Atoz, a hilarious send up by Kristen Wiig of a next to unintelligible more Russian styled Donatella Versace. There is also a spectacular fashion moment featuring a not quite centaur styled Zoolander opposite the ever-gorgeous Naomi Campbell. As for interactive IRL moments, in Los Angeles “Zoolander 2” had a #ZoolanderGasStation Memorial For Models Who Were Killed By A Freak Gasoline Fight Accident, which was something tenable that old and new “Zoolander” fans could get a good laugh from as well as a nice free of charge photo op.
However, despite all of this social media eye candy and care to detail, when it comes to the actual movie, “Zoolander 2” falls short as a cohesively funny whole. Despite everything being teed up to make this film epic when it comes to hilarity, oddly nothing every really falls into it’s place and stays put as something you can really laugh about until you just can laugh anymore.
“Zoolander 2” starts off well with an excellent cameo by none other than Justin Bieber, but when it comes to connecting all of the unexpected cameo bits to the SNL sized scene gags, the whole movie just doesn’t coalesce. Time and time again, we are waiting for the other shoe to drop on a scene that we know is supposed to be funny, but in actuality is more of a forced laugh based on what we found funny about the original “Zoolander” versus a genuine reaction to what is being presented now. A large part of this inability to deliver could be the setup of our two heroes, Derek Zoolander, played by Ben Stiller and Hansel, played by Owen Wilson. Other than reiterating that Zoolander is still dumber than a box of rocks, and Hansel still has a humorously open relationship with romantic commitment, not much else is left to discover in depth about them. As such, they remain largely static and one dimensional in a vehicle that only works if they have the ability to be all in as complex, albeit funny players.
As for the best part of the film, Will Ferrell’s Mugatu leaves Stiller and Wilson in the dust when it comes to consistently bringing on the funny. Unlike Stiller and Wilson’s characters, we get to see a very complex and hilariously elastic exploration of exactly how evil Mugatu and the exclusivity of fashion can be. Ferrell’s balls to the wall performance as the unabashedly soulless but deviously fashion conscious Mugatu is not just enduringly comedic, but inspired. The quick dressing down that Mugatu gives Anna Wintour makes the grade as a sharp and witty takedown of high fashion as a glittery but largely empty show of white privilege and class attitude at it’s worst – and that’s no mean feat in a mainstream comedy. If the movie itself doesn’t deliver as a complete package, the bits that Mugatu gives are enough to give the idea of going to see this movie in the theatre some life. Other special cameos, such as Kiefer Sutherland as a Jack Bauer you wouldn’t expect and Ariana Grande getting labeled a “basic b####” are moments to die for.
Overall grade, a C minus with special circumstances.
Going into this Valentine’s Day holiday weekend, “How To Be Single” does something that is refreshingly different from your typical Valentine’s Day Chick Flick movie fare. Rather than staying inside it’s box via delivering come cute laughs and an obligatory good cry scene about the difficulty of being alone, “How To Be Single” actually investigates what it is to be single and finds some serious laughter and real life authenticity along the way. While it can’t be said that it strays far enough outside of it’s decidedly feminine neighborhood to be a movie for guys to see without a girl, it is definitely a film that can be seen by both sexes on neutral ground and honestly enjoyed as such… and double that if you are female, triple if you are female and single. As a movie, “How To Be Single” manages to stay the fine line of remaining light enough to be very funny but also deep enough to be affecting as a realistic examination of the concept that being single isn’t an affliction but something to be better discovered – which sets this movie apart from most of it’s sister fare as having a realistic shelf life outside of it’s Valentine’s season release date.
Per the usual studio memo, “How To Be Single” starts off bright eyed and bushy tailed with its four obligatory stock single girl movie characters. Alison Brie aptly plays Lucy, the clichéd uptight girl who is downright neurotic in the intensity of her itch to get married. Dakota Johnson is “acting in my sleep” typecast as Alice, the hotter than average but inexplicably still average girl who has never not been in a relationship. Rebel Wilson is to order hilarious as Robin, the funny because she’s just so explicitly outrageous as the promiscuous party girl. And finally, Leslie Mann plays Meg, that gloomy girl putting a brave face on being single for life and for career, with the added welcome twist that she is a bit older than your average Hollywood certified fresh single girl and yet not stamped slutty or prudish. Tying up the whole package is the one with a package, Tom, the unrepentant playboy whom most all of our heroines meet cute via of because of his bar, as played well by Anders Holm. However, the real magic occurs immediately after this fairly standard set up. All of these characters go to very interesting and unpredictable places over the dramatic and comedic course of “How To Be Single,” making this movie a very fresh and creative breath of air. As a real and credible study on the many diverse ways that one can navigate single life in a world that is not two dimensional or planned, “How To Be Single” sends the often botched cinematic message that being single is not a sentence that is good or bad, but simply another part of life. As it eventually affects us all – sometimes more than once, and often against our will, we might as well settle in and learn the best way to do it that makes us happy. This would seem to be the special take away from this film in a way that is not at all hackneyed or insincere – which is to the great credit of all involved in the making of the film.
While the film possesses it’s big comedic hitters in Wilson, Mann, Holm and also Damon Wayans Jr. and Jason Mantzoukas, the expectation as well as the opportunities that they are given to shine never upstage the construct of the movie itself, which is a large part of the tangible success of “How To Be Single” as an all encompassing yet organic romantic comedy.
The only quibble for this film might be that it might have been nice if one of the four girls (or at least one of their female friends or co-workers) had been something other than a single white female. Per the usual HBO “Girls” type NYC whitewashing, it would appear that that sort of unicorn simply wasn’t available. However, the addition of Wayans and Mantzoukas as something more than unexamined date montage material is worth something if not nothing in this #OscarsSoWhite 2016 reality. Also, if one is looking for an examination of being single beyond being straight, this movie will not deliver on that count either. However, if you are not all about checking off all of your identity boxes in one go, this is a very good film about relationships to see this weekend and enjoy – if not beyond.
Overall Grade B+, with a definite yes for theatre viewing.
“Got Some Work” is a Harlem banger from DJ OP, who has been releasing some gems here and there. We picked this one up on AudioMack and we are glad we came across this one. Thank you to DJ OP for putting this one together.
Just like shooting off a gun, once you say something there’s no way to take it back. Only an apology may be issued. It looks like Ray J might have to humble himself, get on his knees, and extend an apology to Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian-West.
Recently, more audio from a touchy interview was published on Diary of a Hollywood Street King’sYouTube page. Eight years ago, this information was exchanged between host Max Billeon and Ray J. The artist and entrepreneur graphically explained Kim’s alleged feminine odor.
Brandy’s brother had a lot to say, “I had to make sure her pu**y was clean because her pu**y was like really filthy in the beginning, and just funk’d out. And I know its sounds crazy to think about her like that, but that was real,” he claimed. The putrid smell was so distressing that the “I Hit It First” singer sought medical consultation.
“And I had to go and tell (medical doctor), gotta talk you, my girlfriend’s pu**y stink And he’s like, ‘You gotta tell her.’ And I was like, somebody’s gotta tell her, I can’t keep doing this,” explained the reality-show star. Ray then revealed his thoughts behind the horrific stench.
Unabashed honesty propelled the dialogue. He believed that a liquid-filled and overused v#####-hole lead to the unusually pungent aroma. “It stunk because it was dirty, because it had c** all inside of it. Probably from other n****s. And probably she just had a dirty, filthy p***y and nobody told her. Nobody told her her pu**y stink.”
Finally a concerned Ray J would bring up the bothersome issue. With his motivation Kim is said to have visited her OBGYN. It was revealed that a yeast infection was the culprit.
As always, communication is key to a healthy relationship.
You know F-A-B-O got that paper so it’s nothing to shoot an epic video like this. This one is a revenge tale and Fab made this a MOVIE *DJ Khaled voice*. This is super epic and Daphne Larue laces up the hook on this gem that samples the end of Marvin Gaye’s “Mercy Mercy Me”. HEAT!
