New Details Emerge In Jam Master Jay’s Murder

(AllHipHop News) Legendary Hip Hop DJ Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC was gunned down at a Queens recording studio on October 30, 2002. Over a decade later the case is still unsolved and no suspects were ever charged for the murder, but PIX 11 spoke with the NYPD lead detective on the case. Detective Vincent Santangelo provided some new details about Jay’s killing.

According to Santangelo, the surveillance tape that was supposed to record people who entered the Merrick Boulevard studio was “useless” adding that it was not clear if the tape found when police arrived was either improperly set-up or tampered with.

“When we went to go and take that tape and view it, it was an old tape,” said Detective Santangelo. “It looked like spring time.”

Jay (born Jason Mizell) was killed in late October, so police believe the images on the tape do not match that day’s  weather. The television monitor used to display visitors entering in the studio was located right next to video game system that Jay and Uriel “Tony” Rincon were playing at the time. Rincon was also shot in the leg.

Santangelo also confirmed that Jay’s assistant, Lydia High who was present during the shooting, did identify Ronald Tinard Washington as the “look-out” for the unnamed shooter. Washington was never charged for Jay’s murder and is currently serving federal time for unrelated burglary charges.

Jam Master Jay’s brother, Marvin Thompson, added he believes both Rincon and High know he killed his brother. Thompson says he was never able to speak to the two eye witnesses to the crime, because they both had security surrounding them at Jay’s gravesite and later relocated from the city.

Thompson also says that he is does not think, Curtis Scoon, one of the names that has been implicated as being the person who ordered a possible hit, was not involved in Jay’s murder.

Epic Fail of the Day: Man Gets His Penis Stuck Inside a Toaster

A London man is nursing his penis back to help after fire fighters had to pull it out of a toaster, according to the Mirror. There’s no word on how he got it stuck in there, though I’m sure we all have our own personal theories, but at least London’s firefighters saved the day.

This isn’t an uncommon occurrence in London as firefighters say they’ve dealt with a spike in lodged dongs over the past three years.

I know sometimes times get hard but please don’t have sex with appliances, mmmkay?

L.A. County District Attorney Reinvestigate Cee Lo Green Rape Case

(AllHipHop News) Old news is could be a new headache for Cee Lo Green in the upcoming weeks. According to a report from TMZ, the L.A. County District Attorney are deciding whether to prosecute Cee Lo Green for allegedly raping a woman last year.

In October of 2012, TMZ reported that a woman filed a police report accusing the singer of sexual assault. According to the unnamed woman, she and Cee Lo were having drinks at a downtown L.A. restaurant in July of 2012 and the next thing she remembered was waking up naked with Cee Lo present in the room.

This story spun out of control when it was revealed that the woman and Cee Lo had been dating since February of 2012 with multiple reports informing TMZ that the woman had been actively searching for ways to coax Cee Lo into purchasing her expensive items.

Sources related to the case told TMZ that Cee Lo Green was on tape apologizing and mentioning MDMA (Ecstasy), however never admits to placing it in her drink.

The case was originally dismissed due to unsatisfactory evidence presented to the L.A. County District Attorney by the investigating agents. However, a five month reinvestigation ensued afterwards which included obtaining additional toxicology reports from the alleged victim as well as more witness reports.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Which Child Pop Star Turned Reality Star Got Dropped From Her Record Label?

Word on the street is that this now grown up child star who had some heaters in the 90s along with a TV show, and even collaborated with Mase got dropped from her record label. I’m told that said singer/actress was not included on the label’s 2014 roster and that things just aren’t the same as far as the talent they’re interested in supporting, aka, they’re more about that ratchet.

No word on said pop star’s plans but she did have a good run on reality TV until deciding to focus more on music, motherhood and acting, which has also been lucrative for her. Even if going the indie route doesn’t work out, given the other talent and credentials we know she’ll be fine. She’s definitely not starving for checks at the moment.
