EVE DISSES CHRIS BROWN

You know Eve has been vocal about domestic violence. She blasts Chris Brown. I can’t help but wonder, shouldn’t she be coming to Charles Hamilton’s rescue too?

Here is what she said:

hold on hold on!! im just gonna reach out to some of ya’ll out there and say this bluntly, why do ppl keep tryin to protect chris browns a**

hes guilty until proven innocent, and no man should ever raise a hand to a woman, im so sick of people kissin his a**..yeh i did just watch

a clip of him saying he isnt a monster…yeh motherf**ker u are. let him or any other man come to me with power fists..id f### him up..

and a message to rihanna…girl your beautiful and talented and u dont need a n***a like that around u…ur special and deserve better…

She’s supposedly going to finally drop that album by October of this year.

IS TIMBALAND MAD AT JAY?

Somebody let me know that my Autotune rumor was a bit off. Jay-Z’s got no ill will to Kanye, but there is something awry. First of all, Jay-Z is supposedly giving the technology its official eulogy with the song “Autotune is Dead.” Also, Kanye is supposedly finished with it and will rap again on the next one. I wonder what T-Pain has to say about this. From what I understand or have been told, the person who had the most problem and did the majority of the hating on the Autotune was Timbaland, who had reportedly been cutting records with Jay for a minute. Here’s the kicker that p##### Tim off… all his records with Jay had been autotuned to some extent or another. Apparently, the use of the tool was a bit too noticeable. I heard the song were all tracked in Los Angeles and then mixed in Hawaii, which makes sense. These recordings were supposedly done during Justin Timberlake and Leona Lewis sessions and this is why both Ye and Timb were both there. It looks like the Timbaland songs might be scrapped or redone. Timbaland has had serious crossover success, but his most recent work with the Pussycat Dolls and rocker Chris Cornell haven’t fared as well so this Jay-Z stuff is big for him.

On a side note, it’s rumored that Jay is very close to joining B over at Sony/Columbia Records. How special.

PIMP JUICE IS OUT OF BUSINESS!

Wasn’t it Nelly that owned or supposedly supported Pimp Juice? Well, it looks like the pillars have crumbled. I don’t know anybody that actually went out and copped the controversial drink, but its gone beer belly-up, pimps. Rumor has it, there are only 15 cases of the drink left. Here to you, PIMP!

CORRECTION: THIS IS DRAKE’S ASSISTANT AND SHE DID NOT SLEEP WITH DRAKE.

Anyway, Drake is rumored to be trying to get RiRi, but she is taking it slow. I guess time’s going to tell this story.

DAMN – WHOO KID!

Yung Berg’s bad 08 just wont stop rearing its ugly head. Here is a pic of DJ Whoo Kid talking about how he’s got the chain now. He says its happy in Milwaukee.

When will they let Berg move on!?

I did my research and I totally thought Teyana Taylor was 17. I got several emails stating that she’s 18. I realized that AHH covered her 18th birthday in December! Here is that pic.

Part 2 of Hoopz sex video has leaked on the net. Its nothing to really go ape over.

Pauly Shore saw Wale at a restaurant and thought he was Kanye. Wale should have just played along with it.

Redman and Meth are supposedly working on “How High 2.” I hope they can make it happen.

RANDOM QUOTES

Rick Ross on Jay-Z leaving Def Jam (Source unknown):

“Yeah it affected me, it effected me in a great way. It let me know that my mentality and the way that I see things is right on time, you know what I mean? I love to see Jay go on to new, bigger and better things. He became a president of the biggest label in the business. He showed he was successful, he signed me and I got two number ones back to back. Now, he’s going to do bigger and better things and that’s more important to all the black kids in the ghetto, the Marcy projects or the projects where I’m from. It just lets us know that the sky is the limit, real talk.”

EPIC FAIL OF THE DAY

Ciara…I like you, but I be DAMNED if I let you get out of this week without being my fail of the day! Look at this, yall!

Buy some damn chicken and get a damn Ciara album for free! Tell me who thought of this career-ending move! Damn them, CiCi!

SIGNS THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END

Since people are going crazy on the kids, why not keep it going on this fine Friday!? What’s going on Utah? You didn’t think I saw what happened the other day, did you? A 21-year-old man was approached by a 17-year-old girl and she made him an offer he should have had sense enough to refuse. But, he didn’t. See, the girl was 7-months preggers and up and decided that she didn’t want it. So what does she muster up in her brain? She asks Arron Harrison to beat the baby to death while it still lives in her belly. They would pretend that she was attacked. Last week, dude pummels her stomach and she runs and tells her mom and dad she was sexually assaulted. They tell the cops and the cops smell the BS a mile away. Arron is looking at something like 15 years for attempted murder. The girl is in a detention center. Oh, guess what? She’s still pregnant. Wonder what glorious story she will have to tell her sweet baby when she arrives.

THE MAN WITH 21 KIDS

This man is a walking fail. Poor dude and poor kids. He should have just got his nuts hacked off.

T.I.’s Girl, Lil Wayne’s Ex Star In ‘Tiny & Toya’ Reality Show

Former Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and Lil’ Wayne’s ex-wife Antonia “Toya” Carter are set to star in a new BET reality series, the network announced this week.

Tiny and Toya will chronicle the two women defining their purpose and building a brighter future for themselves.

Based in Atlanta, the new show follows the lives of these two young women, who in addition to co-parenting two of Hip-Hop’s biggest stars, also happen to be best friends.

Tiny and Toya will follow the two as they strive “to find inner-strength, peace and purpose,” a description of the show says.

Both women are also seeking to be defined outside of the shadow of the men in their lives.

Despite her success with 90s R&B group Xscape and being a Grammy and ASCAP Award winning songwriter, Tiny is best known for her ongoing long-term relationship with rapper T.I.

The two have two sons together, the oldest of which is now four.

The couple made headlines yesterday (May 27) when, on the day after T.I. started his jail sentence on federal gun charges, a source close to the family announced that they were in fact married.

However, today (May 28), T.I.’s publicist Sydney Margetson dismissed the reports as “absolutely not true.”

Toya Carter is the mother of Lil’ Wayne’s eldest Reginae Carter.

Five years after the birth of their daughter, Wayne and Toya got married on Valentine’s Day 2004.

However, they divorced two years later.

A year later, in 2007, Toya made headlines when she spoke to Vibe Magazine about the relationship after her ex had denied in interviews that they were ever in love.

The first Tiny and Toya 30-minute episode will debut at 10pm on June 30.

Big Tigger Brings Out Stars for Annual HIV/AIDS Awareness Show

Radio personality Big Tigger has announced June 5-6 as the dates for his 8th Annual Celebrity Classic, which will raise funds for the nation’s current HIV/AIDS crisis.

The weekend will feature a vast array of professionals from the fields of sports, entertainment, politics, and health.

Confirmed activities include a youth sports clinic, silent auction, VIP luncheon, all-star basketball game, an all-white ball, and HIV testing.

The event will be held in Washington, D.C., where statistics show an alarming rise of HIV infections in African-Americans.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), 75% of the new HIV cases are the result of individuals who were unaware they were infected.

Because of this, Tigger has made a concerted effort to offer free testing to all event attendees.

At the 2004 Classic, over 300 youths and adults were tested, marking a 57% increase over the D.C. Department of Health’s 2000 record of 170.

“More people are living with HIV and AIDS today than ever before,” Big Tigger explained to AllHipHop.com. “It saddens me to know that in, United States, the most powerful country in the world, the HIV infection rates are as bad if not worse than in third world countries. We need to educate everyone about the HIV virus and get as many people tested as we can because most HIV infections are transmitted by people who don’t know their status.”

Celebrities for this year’s event include Nelly, Trey Songz, Clinton Portis, Twista, Vince Carter, Caron Butler, Terrell Owens, Mims, J. Holiday, and Jackie Long.

While assuring attendees will be treated to a festive atmosphere, Tigger emphasized the importance of everyone knowing their medical status when it comes to HIV and AIDS.

“Do yourself a favor, come out and have a good time,” Tigger told AllHipHop.com. “Learn some stuff, get tested, know your status, and it’s going down [at] Big Tigger’s 8th Annual Celebrity Classic!”

Slaughterhouse Finishing Debut LP; Due In Stores July 7

Less than a week after announcing their new joint venture with E1 Music, Hip-Hop super-group Slaughterhouse has a release date for their highly anticipated self-titled debut.

The Slaughterhouse album is set to hit stores July 7, the label announced Thursday (May 28).

Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5’9”, Joe Budden and Crooked I are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on the album, which is nearly complete.

“We did an entire album in 6 days,” Joell Ortiz told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “When you genuinely love what you’re doing, everything is effortless. It was like a long party. I can’t wait for the fans to experience this album.”

The project will feature production by The Alchemist, Streetrunner, DJ Khalil and Denaun Porter.

No word on whether the group will collaborate with other artists on the album.

Continuing the modus operandi that help build Slaughterhouse’s popularity, the four rappers appeared in a new video today to formally announce their new label home and the release of the album.

“We’re working really hard,” said Joe Budden. “The music is coming out amazing, and I think a lot of people are gonna be shocked.”

In the video clip, the group also announced that about a week and a half before the release of their album, Slaughterhouse will hit the road as part of this year’s Rock The Bells tour.

They will also be playing spot dates al summer in between tour dates.

“This group is really something special and this summer I’m excited to show the world what we have to offer,” stated Royce Da 5’9”. “If you thought that we were just gonna release a few tracks to the net and then disappear you are in for a very rude awakening.”

Slaughterhouse made headlines last week when Joe Budden confirmed that the group had found a new home at E1, formerly Koch Records.

The group, which was only formed 10 months ago, started out when Budden recruited the other three members for a song of the same name on his Halfway House album.

The four rappers, each well respected for his lyrical ability, immediately knew that their collaboration had to extend beyond the one track.

“Slaughterhouse is the most exciting new group to hit the Hip-Hop scene in many years,” offers E1 EVP and GM Alan Grunblatt. “I’m thrilled to be working with old friends Royce, Joell, Crooked and new friend Joe Budden.”

The Rock The Bells Tour runs from June 27 in Chicago and end on August 9th in San Francisco.

This year’s tour will also feature performances by Nas & Damian Marley, Ice Cube, The Roots, Common, Busta Rhymes, Big Boi, House of Pain, Reflection Eternal, Raekwon, M.O.P. and many more.

Stop All The Drake Hate

First, let me admit that I am not a fan of Drake’s, at least not in the traditional sense.

I downloaded his last mixtape and was told the last one was better. I appreciate this one, but I haven’t felt compelled to get the first one. I figure I’ll hear it when I hear it. I don’t have the urge to go see him live either. I am not particularly interested in his background, aside from the funny fact that he was “Wheelchair Jimmy” on that show “Degrassi High.” (Weird!) That typically should signify his downfall in Hip-Hop…acting. Go figure. I think he is talented, but prefer that he not sing so much.

Nevertheless, my views aside, Drake is here and he’s the hottest thing out.

And, in true contemporary Hip-Hop fashion…the hate has swelled and runneth over.

Two major mixtapes, an affiliation with Lil Wayne, some ghostwriting, shows across the nation and a bidding war with a pair of major labels. With all tha going for him, Drake is still face to face with the scorn of the Hip-Hop nation.

Now, I have to wonder where we have gone wrong where we resolved to tear our young talents down before they even get up. I know that the crabs-in-a-barrel mentality has always been present, but we are talking about fans and critics, not peers. In Hip-Hop, there is a tradition of hoisting the artist on our collective shoulders and pushing the best to the top. And “best” doesn’t always mean best – it means those that resonate with us. We’ve done that regardless of their talent. Look at Young Jeezy, Maino and Gucci Mane and look at Jay-Z, Wayne, Eminem and others. Varying degrees of talent with one thing in common.

Hating for no reason – when did this become fashionable?

Hip-Hop is gradually turning into a Nation of Haters – hating just to hate. This means investing a lot of energy in hating some rapper like Drake when you should put time in supporting that rapper you love. That is assuming you love anybody. It’s probably time to rechristen the term fan into something else like “people that ruin people before they reach their potential.” Fan is short for “fanatic,” which means one that has “excessive enthusiasm and often intense uncritical devotion.” This idea of fanaticism is rare in 2009.

This editorial isn’t about Drake, even though he is the centerpiece. The hate towards him is puzzling considering what he’s achieving before our eyes. Is there loathing because he’s got a shot with Rihanna? Or that he is a fair-skinned, half Jewish Canadian and not from the South Bronx or the Dirty South? Perhaps the hate stems from his close link with another “detested” (and million-in-one-week-selling) rapper in Lil Wayne? I am open to any and all reasonable answers, but I think people just hate.

I’m not a Soulja Boy fan by any stretch of the human imagination, but I sit back and I laugh for that young man. I laugh because he made it through somehow. I would have bet money that he would be a failure after his first album, banished forever as a wack one hit wonder. But, through all the hate he got, he survived another outing. Now, lyrically Drake does laps around Soulja Boy, but they share the same hate in the hearts of fans. Does anybody remember the HYPE – I mean, sheer, unbridled HYPE surrounding Nas when he first emerged? Imagine what would become of Nas has he just gotten started in 2009.

Does it seem even remotely familiar in concept?

Here is a news flash: Redman, Nas, Jay-Z, Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent – these talented individuals are not going to be around forever. It is high time we stop the hating and draft some new, fresh faces into the game. The League of Hip-Hop is already a difficult sport to rise in, why are the fans the ones blocking the young rap talents’ shots when all they want to do is dunk for your entertainment?

PS: This is not a PSA for letting wack people in the game so don’t try it!

Good Guy aka EveryMan is a columnist on AllHipHop.com and his columns appear every Thursday or when he sends them over. Of course his views are not necessarily that of AllHipHop.com, but we don’t hate Drake either.

The X Fact(her): Lady Justice is Latina

“Do I

want her to fail? Yeah. Do I want her to fail to get on the court? Yes.

She’d be a disaster on the court. Do I still want Obama to fail as

president? Yeah. AP, you getting this?” – Rush LimbaughI know

more about Sonia Sotomayor than I do my next door neighbor. Since being

announced as Prez Obama’s pick to replace retiring Justice David Souter

of the U.S. Supreme Court, her life has become plastered all over the

media. The last time I took note of a Supreme Court nominee was

Clarence Thomas, whose hearings regarding sexual harassment charges by

former colleague Anita Hill made him a household name.

It’s

safe to say the reason why Sotomayor is getting so much coverage is

because she is Latina and grew up poor. Period. End of Story.

Don’t

believe it. Check the headlines: “Sonia Maria Sotomayor rose from the

projects”; “Sotomayor seen through filter of ethnicity”; “Sonia

Sotomayor a Role Model for Kids with Diabetes”

Why,

after the historic election of President Obama, are we will awe struck

by accomplished folks of color? The focus on Sotomayor growing up in

the projects (for the record she only lived there for a short number of

years before her family moved to a co-op), her parents being from

Puetro Rico and being diagnosed with child diabetes is touching, but

should that matter? Is that more important than her stance on abortion,

gun rights, civil rights and employment discrimination?

Conservatives are having a field day with Sotomayor’s nomination.

“Do I

want her to fail? Yeah. Do I want her to fail to get on the court? Yes.

She’d be a disaster on the court. Do I still want Obama to fail as

president? Yeah. AP, you getting this?” – Rush Limbaugh

“She

may have empathy for the poor, gays and minorities — but she is likely

to ignore the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law.” – The Traditional

Values Coalition, claiming to speak for 43,000 American churches

Then

there’s the flipside to her nomination, or shall we call it the race

card. Republicans acknowledge that the Hispanic vote has been good to

them in recent elections and the rejection of Sotomayor will leave a

bad taste in the mouths of brown voters.

Manu Raju writes on Politico.com:

Republicans

may face a backlash if they’re seen as charging too hard against a

nominee who’s both a woman and a Hispanic. Red-state Democrats will be

under pressure from the right, which will make sure that their

conservative-to-moderate constituents know all about Sotomayor’s most

controversial views. And some GOP Senate candidates may find themselves

on the horns of an unhappy dilemma: Do you play to the conservative base or to Hispanic voters who could play a huge role in their 2010 races?

While Republicans have a lot to lose or gain from Sotomayor joining the Supreme Court, what will it mean for the rest of us?

Black

people of America thought Clarence Thomas was going to do major work on

our behalf once he was appointed to the Supreme Court but haven’t heard

as much as a peep out of him.

There

is no denying that Sotomayor is a success story. She’s the result of a

single mother household and received a world class education,

attending private school to graduating from Princeton and Yale Law

School. Prez Obama spoke so highly of her during this week’s press

conference stating that Sotomayor is more distinguished than any

current Justice was when they were nominated. Talk about a diss to the

sitting judges. But that got me to thinking about something my parents

always told me, “In order for you to compete in society you have to

work twice as hard just to be acknowledged.” It’s true; it takes a lot

of work and accomplishment for folks to see past your skin color so why

are we focusing on Sotomayor’s pigmentation and not her platform?

Forgive me for not judging a book by its cover.- CH

T.I. Publicist Says Marriage Reports ‘Not True’

T.I. Denies Marriage Reports By: Ismael AbduSalaam News on the marriage of longtime partners Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and T.I. (Clifford Harris) have proven to be false, according to the Atlanta star’s publicist.

Yesterday (May 27), Essence magazine broke the story that the couple had wed several weeks ago in a private Miami ceremony.

Rumors began immediately that the quick, unannounced marriage was done since T.I. would begin serving his one-year and a day prison sentence this month.

However, the superstar’s publicist Sydney Margetson today dismissed the reports as “absolutely not true” to Sister to Sister magazine.

Last weekend, T.I. completed an emotional farewell concert at Atlanta’s Philips Area, where he brought his children on stage to promise them a better future and father upon his release.

On Tuesday (May 26), he reported for his sentencing after being denied a request to be housed closer to Atlanta.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia, through good behavior T.I. can become eligible to have up to 55 days lowered from his sentence.

At press time, T.I. and Tiny are maintaining their two-year engagement.

AHH Stray News: Maino, Jim Jones, JD, Blackstar

Brooklyn based rapper Maino is celebrating the success of his latest single “All of the Above” with a gold plaque. The single, which features T-Pain, has been certified gold by the RIAA for digital sales exceeding 500,000 copies. The hot-selling digital single was produced by veteran Just Blaze. The good news comes as Maino gears up to release his debut album If Tomorrow Comes, which is due in stores on June 30. Maino recently released his new single “Million Buck” featuring Swizz Beatz.

Rapper Jim Jones was given an extra month outside of the courtroom, as his court date for an assault involving the manager of Ne-Yo has been pushed back to July, AllHipHop.com has confirmed exclusively. Jones was originally supposed to appear in court on June 4, to face charges that he assaulted Ne-Yo’s manager Javon Smith inside of the Louis Vuitton store on 57th Street in New York last December. Jones has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge, although he faces a multi-million dollar civil suit because of the incident. Jones will now face trial in Manhattan Criminal Court in July.

TOP 5 DEAD OR ALIVE: Shawnna

Shawnna loves Hip-Hop is ways the voyeur cannot fathom. So naturally she is concerned about pinpointing her Top 5 favorite rap artists.

“So I check ya’ll out all the time. I’m like on AllHipHop like everyday. And I was just looking at that Top 5, I think ya’ll did Nicki Minaj’s Top 5. It was like so many [reader] comments about her list. It’s like, that was her opinion. Why can’t people just respect that?” she says vigorously. “What do you mean, like Top 5 lyricists? Or Top 5 rappers? Now are we talking before the bling, or are we talking after the bling?”

When she talks about her favorite rappers, she goes every which way and feels remorse when she is unable to include certain artists. So, she genuinely wants to include every sector of Hip-Hop, including old School, New School, East, West, South, Mid-West, male and female. If there are others, she wants to include those too.

Shawnna was assured that, while she pointed out her Top 5 Dead or Alive, we’d give props to her other favorites as well. Note: the names in bold are her absolute Top 5. This is a bit erratic, but totally fun. Shawnna just loves Hip-Hop.

RAKIM

Shawnna: Definitely Rakim. Definitely Rakim.

AllHipHop.com: What about Rakim do you like?

Shawnna: Everything. Every song that he did. “Microphone Fiend,” “Move the Crowd” – everything he did was just lyrical. Everything. I mean he never stopped and then his delivery- his delivery stays the same, he never changed no matter what. And you know two turntables and a mic- that’s the birth of it you know. And I think Rakim embodies that.

KRS-ONE

Shawnna: I love KRS-One because of his positivity you know. Regardless of how many new rappers or old rappers come along, we need artist like KRS-One. It shows that we do have a mind frame, that we are educated. We need artists like that. So I say Rakim, then KRS-One, and then… I have to give my middle slot to a female. I have to put a female in it. I wouldn’t be right if I didn’t. Okay, let me see who is my most influential female? I mean I go back to Monie Love you know. It hurts to not even put them in the category…

AllHipHop.com: I’ll mention them for you.

Shawnna: Thank You! Of my time, my most influential woman was Lauryn.

LAURYN HILL

Shawnna: I have to because she can sing, she was positive, she wasn’t afraid to go there, she even changed her look- she didn’t blonde her hair, she never pulled her t###### or her ass out because people felt like that’s what she had to do. She got on and off off of her lyricism and that is it. Her personality, her charisma, and I applaud her for that. For real. I look up to that so much.

BLACK THOUGHT

Shawnna: So then after… I have to go with Black Thought. I have to go with Black Thought because-

AllHipHop.com: Nice! I have to give you props for that!

Shawnna: Thank you! I have to go with Black Thought because you know he’s where I came from. When I was a shorty and I was on the Lyricist Lounge tour- The Roots was on it also, and he really pulled me to the side and was like “You really have something. What you’re doing…”. You know I can’t remember the exact words you know it was so long ago- you know Lyricist Lounge was like what ’98 ’99? But I had looked up to him. I had already been hearing him and then when he gripped the mic and the music came on it was like “Awwww.” So for him to pull me to the side and was like- I knew exactly who he was, you know he tried to talk like I didn’t know who he was. And when he said it I was like “No, I’m really going to be respected”. So yeah I have to go with Black Thought, I have to go with Black Thought. That’s Rakim, KRS-One, Lauryn, and Black Thought.

Shawnna: And then for my fifth- wow. My fifth… I have to go with- Oh it’s so many! Oh it’s so many, oh it’s so many, it’s so many. Because I mean now I’m going updated. I’m going into “right now,” who’s giving it to me right now in the past five years, and right now for me it’s between like- don’t you remember Ras Kass?

AllHipHop.com: Of course.

Shawnna: Let’s see who’s giving it now. S### I have so many, I have so many. It’s so many that I want to give my best one to. Let me think right now. Who’s giving it to em’ right now lyrically like… You know, I f**k with Jadakiss – I’m sorry. Jada and Sheek. Like mother f***ers sleep so hard on Sheek Louch, it’s stupid.

AllHipHop.com: Yeah, you’re right.

Shawnna: You know they so sleep on him. People was like “What? Huh? Why?” but they sleep on him, that’s why you know.

Almost…made the list!

AllHipHop.com: Right, right. So Jada and Sheek? Or are you still thinking?

Shawnna: Yeah I have to go with Jada- I have to. I cannot leave my man out of my list. But it’s like people are going to be like “How could you put Jada and you didn’t put Biggie and Pac” you know what I’m saying. So…

AllHipHop.com: Oh, don’t worry about that.

Shawnna: I’m not worried about it, but I just really want people to understand where I’m coming from. It’s like so many different categories of it, but at the end of the day, I’m a lyricist, and that’s what Jada is. He’s just not a rapper to me. Jada can go with some of the heavies and keep going.

AllHipHop.com: And he has. I mean you have to look at it. He’s been down with everybody from DMX, to Biggie, to Jay-

Shawnna: Oh my God! I have to give my fifth one, I have to keep true to where I come from and say Redman. I’m sorry.

REDMAN!

v

AllHipHop.com: Okay. Redman.

Shawnna: That’s my one, Redman. Yup, that’s my one. But I don’t know, I don’t want to say Redman before Jada. What do you think I should do? What do you think I should do? I should put my Jada on there shouldn’t I? Jada gon’ be out of no where on that list though.

AllHipHop.com: Right. I have flags for Redman. I personally have flags for Redman you know. I can’t tell you what to say because that’s on you. That’s what the list is for, it’s your list. I put Redman a bit above Jada because of his album qualities you know what I’m saying. He holds a little bit more consistency on the album side. Jada’s always been consistent lyrically, but you know that’s just me.

Shawnna: What about Kool G Rap?

AllHipHop.com: That’s my favorite MC ever.

KOOL G RAP

Shawnna: So yeah put Kool G on there because that’s my favorite too.

AllHipHop.com: Okay. So what about G Rap is it that you like?

Shawnna: Oh that’s when I was a shorty. That’s when I was first getting introduced to it when you had the Rob Bass “It Takes Two” and then it was like-Oh god, Kool G Rap… I’m going to tell you like this because he was a dope lyricist, but he didn’t just go off that he gave you concept. Like that “I Shot The Sheriff,” you know what I’m saying, he gave you concept and he was a dope lyricist. That’s what I see in Ludacris.

That’s why Ludacris is one of my favorite rappers now amongst your Gucci Manes and stuff like that. I like Gucci, but can you put Gucci and Luda in the same category? No, but I still f**k with him though, I still f**k with Gucci Mane. Stupid ass, hood n***a [rap] – he got it. He is it. Like that stupid, dumb, hood n***a, you might not even- that might even be a word. But he swag’d it out so good, that it sounded good.

AllHipHop.com: Yeah they did a song together so I guess it worked some how.

Shawnna: Yeah they did a song for the Battle of the Sexes album (with Ludacris). Yeah Gucci’s featured on one of his songs. Yep. But that will be my list, so you gotta check me out. My list came out to be Rakim, KRS-One, Lauryn Hill, Black Thought, and Kool G Rap. Yep.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Jay-Z Disses Autotune! Rihanna Revenge! 29 with 21 Kids?

DISCLAIMER:

All content within this section is pure rumor and generally have no factual info outside of what the streets have whispered in our ear. Read on.

THE DAILY TWO SENSE

I just want to send a shout out to all the aspiring artists out there. I just want to let you know that I just don’t have the time to listen and critique all the music I get. There are times that I do, but its hella random, to use the West Coast term. The links for music submission are below.

JAY-Z “NO AUTOTUNE”

I am hearing that Jay-Z is going all out. Yep. The word is that he’s got a song literally called “No Autotune” and the song is basically waging war again the technological device. The song is supposedly produced by NO ID and is indicative of the whole album, The Blueprint 3. Yes, it would see that Jay-Z is looking to go against the grain with this one. But did he boot Kanye West from the album? I had a rumor on that a ways back, but I don’t know. I know that a source of mine stated that Jay was slighting Kanye on this one with the “No Autotune,” but my gut says Jay wouldn’t diss Yeezy.

RIHANNA IS P#####!

Those nude and semi-nude pics were leaked and RiRi blames Chris Brown for it! That is according to rumors! Anyway, they are saying that she is going to leak her own unflattering pics of Chris Brown and slander his name by saying he was less than a man in bed, SMH. I hope she doesn’t leak those pics. I hope he does leak some more. Breezy, my email is al************@***il.com. I won’t send them out though. ANYWAY, they are saying that RiRi hacked into his email and sent an email to his dancers. That would be a bad mistake.

DID RIHANNA MAKE A MISTAKE?

I got this letter. Check it out.

Hey illseed,

I know you heard that Rhi is p##### at Chris Brown because she thinks he leaked the nude photos. She allegedly said some crazy stuff like she was gonna burn his house down and what not, but I think she made a BIG mistake if this other rumor is true. The rumor states that she hacked into his email and sent his employees some messages like they will no longer be needed.

Now if this is true and can be verified, she could be brought up on charges because hacking or gaining access to someone’s computer, or other devices/apps like email is illegal. I hope this isn’t true because she might let this kiddy stuff mess her up.

DRAKE AND DRAMA?

I’ll tell you. These stars are living the life! They get to find a great girl and have their fun. Anyway, there is this girl that I just became privy to. Her name is Summer Walker and after a few googles, I realized that I have seen her before. Anyway, somebody told me (with much venom) that she is “friends” with both Drake and DJ Drama. How dope is it that they get to share her? Anyway, I don’t know this for certain, but I do know for certain that the person that gave me this rumor looks upon her with much disdain so I’m not fully sure this is true.

LIL WAYNE’S LIL MAN GETS A YOUNG JAWN?

I am hearing that that Lil Twist (Lil Wayne’s Protege) of Young Money Entertainment is dating actress Keke Palmer. Now Lil Twist is the kid with the mo-hawk in all the videos with Lil Wayne, and has the new Leak record featuring: Lil Wayne. Keke Palmer is the young African American girl from Madea’s Family Reunion, Akeelah and the Bee, and stared in her most recent show ” True Jackson V.P” This is what I got from a source so if you know more on this, let me know. Keke is a good kid. I hope that boy is straight.

NAS AND KELIS BACK TOGETHER!?

Nas and Kelis may be trying to work it out. Who knows? I emailed a few people that I knew and I really didn’t get much back. Apparently, they had a conversation that went civilly and that somehow equates to them getting back together. ANYWAY…I’ll believe it when I see it.

T.I. KEPT WORKING

T.I. is now in jail, but he’s not going out without a fight. The rapper actually won’t have too many fights in his minimum-security jail. But the rapper has taken steps to make sure we don’t forget him. First of all, he has recorded a mixtape that will be released in the future. Also, it is being said that he recorded about five music videos for distribution while he is away. This will make its seem like he’s not away. The mixtape is called “A Year And A Day” and it features Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, and Kanye West, among others. Also, Tip and Tiny got married and she got a show. From what I understand they are putting out a reality surrounding Tiny’s life and times. COOL.

ILLSEED’S QUICKIES

The Game and Diddy went into the studio to work on The R.E.D. Album. Isn’t that interesting? Diddy was accused of working with Crips in the past.

J.R. Writer has a brother named Fred Money and Fred has a CD coming out in a couple weeks. I think I am going to start rapping.

Apparently, there was something brewing between Nore and Cam, but Nore cleared that up and let a NYC crowd know that there was no beef with his Harlem peer. Apparently, the dudes he had a “beef” with didn’t realize this.

People are still heated at Club Element! Oh snap! They should have just paid Drake a few bucks to perform.

Why are people acting like “Can’t Cheat Death” is new Jay-Z with Preemo? UHM – ITS OLD!

Drake is 22 and Teyana is 17. BE EASY, HOMEBOY.

Jay-Z might be taking Roc Nation to Sony? I guess that Live Nation didn’t pan out?T.I.’s and tiny’s PR team is saying that they aren’t really married. Honestly, I don’t believe them.

EPIC FAIL OF THE DAY: FOX & THIS LYING CHICK

Here is a double fail. You know, in this day and age, just about anything is possible. People are doing dumb stuff time and time again, regardless of their race, creed and background. This person happens to be exceptionally stupid. When a white female goes missing, the media goes crazy over it. That’s just the way it is. Well, Bonnie Sweeten, 38, suddenly found herself and her 9-year-old Julia Rakoczy ABDUCTED and Fox went crazy, along with other outlets. In Fox’s report, they made it a point to note that Bonnie said two random BLACK dudes kidnapped them both. That was very prominent in the initial report. Well, to make a very long story short, she was found to be a liar. In fact, Bonnie was lying so bad that the story had massive holes in it. But the police STILL believed Bonnie even though they admitted her story was flimsy. In fact, she was

supposedly made a call from the “trunk of a car”

from her cell phone saying her AND the daughter were aducted by two black dudes. Well here is how dumb Bonnie was. 1) her story was weak so the authorities were already on her. 2) she boarded a plane with her daughter Julia and went to DISNEY. All sorts of cameras, cell phone records and stuff that tracked her to Florida. 3) She stole $300k from her job and thought she was going to abort her teen daughter, husband and take the daughter of her EX husband and just BE OUT? In Fox’s follow-up story, there was no mention of the fact that she tried to pin this on a pair of Black men. I found that to be quite overt and blatant considering the recap was very detailed and lengthy. SMH. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL.

SIGNS THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END

Doesn’t dude look stress? There is a good reason.

Brother, brother, BROTHER! This would be an Epic Fail, but you are in this for life. And what a life it will be. A 29 year old from Tennessee man has 21 kids. The man has 21 kids. I will say it again…29 year old Desmond Hatchett has now fathered at least 21 children and he doesn’t have the means to support them. What a loser! Anyway, they are saying he may have more than the 21 that people KNOW about. Dude has 11 baby moms and all of the women knew about the large size of his “family.” Well, there is the other side of the mess: the dumb women. This dude is a joke and so are the fools that have kids with him. His oldest child is 11 years old. After the dudes minimum wage check is split 21 ways, each baby mom gets less that $2 PER MONTH. WHAT? FAIL. THE END!
