(AllHipHop News) Daniel “Tekashi 6ix9ine” Hernandez is expected to begin testifying in Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack’s federal trial on September 16. The Brooklyn-bred rapper is reportedly preparing to lay out his role in assisting the Nine Trey Bloods.
“The Government expects CW-2 [Hernandez] to testify that one of his roles in Nine Trey was to make money for the gang and distribute that money among Nine Trey members,” reads a letter from U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman. Complex published portions of the document.
Alleged Nine Trey associates Ellison and Mack have also been accused of setting up the 2018 kidnapping and robbery of 6ix9ine in New York City. There have also been reports that the two defendants will claim the so-called abduction and heist was part of a scheme to promote the rap star’s music.
In addition, Tekashi69 is expected to tell the court he was willing to pay $50,000 to have Ellison murdered. The 23-year-old government witness will also supposedly admit that violent lyrics in his songs like “Gummo,” “Kooda,” and “Billy” were directed at musical rivals such as Trippie Redd and Casanova.
Mack and Ellison are both facing 20 years to life in prison for racketeering and firearm charges. Mack was also hit with a narcotics conspiracy indictment which comes with a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison. 6ix9ine already pleaded guilty in the racketeering and firearm case.
“As alleged in the Superseding Indictment, Aljermiah Mack, like his Nine Trey co-conspirators, engaged in brazen acts of gun violence and narcotics dealing. Thanks to our remarkable partners at HSI, ATF, and the NYPD, he now faces federal charges for his serious crimes,” stated U.S. Attorney Berman in June.
