(AllHipHop News) Congrats go out to J. Cole. The title track off the North Carolinian’s KOD album now owns the record for opening day streams on Spotify.

“KOD” amassed more than 4.2 million plays in its first day of release. That total passed Taylor Swift’s 3.8 million for “Look What You Made Me Do” in 2017.

Another KOD track is among the Top 5 too. “Photograph” collected 3.5 million Spotify streams in its first 24 hours on the platform.

The LP dropped on April 20, and Cole presented the “ATM” music video the same day. Eight songs from the album controlled spots on Spotify’s U.S. Top 10 chart dated April 21.
