(AllHipHop News) Kid Cudi is the latest celebrity to join the Fox smash Empire. The Cleveland native revealed his involvement with the music drama on Twitter.
“Already wrapped my first episode of Empire and can’t be more geeked for everyone to see! Only doing dope sh-t,” wrote Cudi.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the rapper/actor will be playing an independent musician named Gram. The character is a rival of Hakeem Lyon (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray).
Cudi previously appeared in How To Make It in America, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and The Cleveland Show. The announcement of his involvement with Empire follows Taye Diggs being added to the cast as well.
Like previous guest stars, Cudi is expected to provide music for Empire as Gram.
