Offset Bought a Piece FaZe Clan For Big Money And A Good Cause

Rap star Offset is the latest artist to get involved in esports with his investment in FaZe Clan.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Offset bought into video game company FaZe Clan because of the positive effects it creates “for the kids” and the “culture.”

The star recently became an investor in the e-sports and entertainment company established in 2010 which enables members to compete in various video game tournaments.

And chatting to TMZ, the Migos star couldn’t hold his enthusiasm about his latest business venture.

“I’m with FaZe Clan – FaZe Up, b##ch!” he enthused. “F##king FaZe up, b##ch!”

When asked what motivated him to back the venture, the star replied the video game industry is “big money,” but maintained he supports the business because of its wide-reaching benefits.

“I do it for the kids, for the culture,” Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, explained. “It’s a way to get your mind away from things.”

He said gaming “is a good thing for mental health” because it can help alleviate stress.
