The sealed videos of Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke have hit the internet. The pair were found liable for infringing on Marvin Gaye’s “Got To Give It Up,” a loss that resulted in a $5 million judgment against the pair. Their 2013 smash hit “Blurred Lines” simply came too close to the late legend’s work. However, insiders are also stating that the testimony of each man has also played a major role as well. Both Pharrell and Thicke were interviewed by The Gaye estate attorney Richard Busch and the video gets dicey quite often. At one point, Pharrell says,”You should check it out…I’m not a teacher…I’m not here to teach you music.”
The testimony has been made public by The Hollywood Reporter. Check it out.
“Do you consider yourself an honest person?” the lawyer says. “No,” Robin Thicke replies.
