(AllHipHop News) Snoop Dogg once had an association with Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump, but the rapper has severed ties with the billionaire because of his controversial policies towards Mexicans and Muslims.
According to Snoop, he was once friendly with Donald Trump. The Hip-Hop megastar roasted Donald Trump in March of 2011 during Comedy Central’s “Roast of Donald Trump.”
But Snoop had to cut his ties as soon as Trump started his bid for President of the United States of America.
“I kinda was f##king with him until I heard some of his views and perspectives and that may be back up off them, cause a lot of the views and perspectives that he has, I have friends that represent those facets in life, whether they Muslims, Mexicans, whatever they are,” Snoop Dogg said in an interview on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s#### podcast series “Drink Champs.”
“That’s f##ked up how they singling people out and we don’t do that,” Snoop Dogg said, referencing Hip-Hop culture’s power to influence the upcoming election.
“We are multicultural. We f##ks with everybody,” Snoop Dogg said. “So if you’re still singling out motherf##kers your might as well single yourself out, cause you don’t know who is connected, you don’t know who the plug is.”
Instead, rapper Snoop Dogg officially endorsed another candidate. No, it’s not Hillary Clinton.
Like 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg has cosigned Kanye West’s bid for President in 2020 and gave the Chicago emceed his official endorsement – just like Donald Trump did after Kanye made his announcement in 2015.
“Kanye West can’t be no more crazier than that motherf##ker Donald Trump,” Snoop Dogg said.
