(AllHipHop News) Last Friday evening (Jan. 22), via Twitter, Talib Kweli and Iggy Azalea engaged in an lively social media exchange. The conversation commenced with a comment and question directed toward’s Macklemore’s song “White Privilege II.” The socially adept Brooklyn MC tweeted, “The fact @iggyazalea thinks Macklemore song was a diss to her, instead of actually listening, is proof of her privilege. F**k Iggy Azalea.”

After trading tweets with Talib, aseemingly flustered Iggy eventually posted, “The world is FUNNY. Im not actually heated about macklamores song or its message. I dont think its intention was to make me a tending topic.” Not one to let other shirk their moral responsiblity, Talib ended the social media exchange with the following response, “@IGGYAZALEA the fact that when you choose to speak on oppression, it’s in “passing” & more abt your feelings than actual oppression, is sad.”
