Boxer Zab Judah will assume the role of Santa Clause next month as part of Preserve Our Legacy, Inc.’s holiday toy give-away.
The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on December 1, at Essex County College in Newark, NJ.
More than 200 foster children from local New Jersey children agencies, including the Salvation Army and Babyland Family Services, will receive toys during the give away, which will provide free information about health resources.
“I am involved with the Preserve Our Legacy Holiday Toy Drive for Foster Kids because I love kids and anything that I can do to help or by showing my support for kids, especially those in need, I’m going to do,” Zab Judah told AllHipHop.com.
In addition to Judah, who also runs the Hip-Hop label Super Cartel Records, the event will include a step team performance by United Youth of NJ Elite Drill Team and Superior.
The holiday toy give away is one of two events put on by Preserve Our Legacy, an organization that increases awareness and educates the minority community about the most common diseases.
