I am getting a LOT of emails sent to me from people that are hoping to slam the other “side” over Big Meech. As you know, you can’t take it with you – to hell or jail. And Meech is kinda in both. I’m not going to say who, but a woman claiming to be Big Meech’s “wifey” is all over instagram. She’s doing the selfies HEAVY! IF I had to guess, I would say she’s a stripper too. But, I don’t know – she thick though. She reps that Free Big Meech heavy. Anyway, some of her haters are saying a LOT. She’s allegedly living off that old money from the BMF days. She’s also allegedly buying all Meech’s stuff back for him. Sounds like a plan to me! Also, this wifey allegedly started out as a pen pal for the big man, my “hater” has stated. By the way, the new wife stresses she is making all her money LEGALLY.

New York Rapper Wanted On Murder Charge Arrested In Sacramento

(AllHipHop News) For the last 9 months Nassau County police and U.S. Marshals have been searching for aspiring rapper Agdnan McLeod, aka Duffle Bag Agg, on second degree murder charges. McLeod was finally arrested in Sacramento, California after allegedly crisscrossing the country from New York City to Atlanta to San Francisco.

An arrest warrant for McLeod was issued in January after police suspected the 23-year-old was involved in the 2012 killing of Ramel Blanco in Hempstead Village.

Blanco was found shot in the street on the evening August 1. The victim was transferred to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A second suspect is already in custody.

While he released a few mixtapes and uploaded several videos online, Duffle Bag Agg did not appear to be on the cusp of becoming a Hip Hop star. The highlight of the self-described “#1 Trapper’s” rap career was appearing on the YouTube channel of Wave Space Digital.

Drake is the man of the hour, too sweet to be sour. Period.

This is the best thing I think Drake has done in his whole entire career. Apparently, Drake attempted to buy some of the Yolo Polos so that he could rock them as he promotes his new album. But, check it. Son. The dude that is making them is some kind of scam artist! Drake recently said that he ordered some and they NEVER CAME! What kind of backwards hustle is that? Now, he can’t get money…or sued.

Drake said:

“Yo, to the guy that sells the YOLO Polos, I bought five YOLO Polos and you never sent them to my house. If I ever see you, I’m gonna have to put them hands on you. I’m wearing a Cartier ring, it is gonna hurt when you see me. Straight up. … Yeah, I’m a bitter customer. What is the guy’s PayPal account? Do we have his PayPal information? Because I would have been wearing it right now. That’s a classic.”

EXCLUSIVE: A$AP Rocky To Star In New Monster DNA Headphones Ad

(AllHipHop News) A$AP Rocky is set to appear in his first commercial spot. The Harlem, New York native partnered with audio/video technology company Monster to appear in a new ad for the Monster DNA Black Tuxedos headphones.

The 30-second clip also stars superproducer Swizz Beatz. The two “Street Knock” collaborators are seen working on music on a tour bus when Rocky realizes he needs headphones to finish recording, so the two rap stars stop at a Best Buy store to purchase a pair of Black Tuxedos.

The clip was directed by Taj Stansberry (Usher’s “Lil Freak”/Big Sean’s “My Last”).

Chris Brown and Drake are officially frenemies! They ended their beef at the iHeartRadio thingy. Remember these dudes were throwing bottles in a tiny NY club a ways back, resulting in all kinds of BS for the venue. Well, it has come to an END. Page Six has the 411:

The bottle-throwing beef between rapper Drake and Chris Brown has been squashed.

The musicians — who got into an epic fracas at Soho nightclub W.I.P. in 2012 — hugged it out at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas over the weekend. Sources tell us Drake and his crew came to the music fest on Friday specifically to watch Brown’s performance.

“Drake came on Friday with his whole crew, and watched Chris’ entire set,” we’re told.

After Brown came off stage, a spy told us: “They were backstage hugging and drinking.” We’re told the reunion went so well, the two even talked about creating some tracks together.

Sources tell us the mediator of the reunion was Def Jam music exec Abou Thiam — who’s one of Brown’s managers and a brother of rapper Akon. We’re told Thiam is “very friendly with Drake, and worked to try and get him and Chris together to put their differences aside.”

TLC To Release Greatest Hits Album With New Song In October

(AllHipHop News) TLC is one of the top-selling female groups of all time. In celebration of their 20 year anniversary in the music business, the Grammy-winning act will release a greatest hits album next month. 20 will include some of their chart topping singles like “Waterfalls” and “Creep.” The collection will also feature a brand new track called “Meant to Be.”

TLC rose to prominence in the 1990’s during Atlanta’s R&B takeover that included Usher, Monica, Xscape, 112, and Jagged Edge. The trio of T-Boz, Left Eye, and Chilli went on to sell over 65 million albums worldwide before the tragic death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes.

Surviving members T-Boz and Chilli recently returned to the charts as featured performers on J. Cole’s “Crooked Smile.” The Roc Nation emcee revealed that he may be contributing to TLC’s next studio album currently planned for a 2014 release.

Diddy, Jay Z & Nicki Minaj Make Top 5 Of Forbes Cash Kings List

(AllHipHop News) Forbes is back with its annual Hip Hop top earners list. To no surprise the heads of Bad Boy and Roc Nation took the top two spots respectively. Diddy landed at #1 with $50 million earned between June of 2012 to June of 2013. After leading the way in the highest earning couple in entertainment list with his wife Beyoncé, Jay Z came in right behind Diddy on the Hip Hop Cash Kings tally with $43 million.

There was one “Cash Queen” that brought in a lot of dough over the last year. Nicki Minaj broke into to the top five with $29 million. She followed Dr. Dre at #3 with $40 million. Nicki’s Cash Money boss Bryan “Birdman” Williams raked in $21 million for the #5 spot.

Independent artists made a mark on the revenue side during those 12 months as well. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis (#14) rode their two Billboard chart topping singles and platinum selling album The Heist to $9 million. Veteran emcee Tech N9ne (#18) totaled $7.5 million from his indie label Strange Music.

Calling emergency services for stupid reasons has sunk to a new level of stupidity. An unidentified British man called 999, England’s version of 911, to complain about pieces of cork in his bottle of wine. Apparently, he was trying to get his lush on at a bar but it just didn’t go according to his plans.

Via the Mirror:

The caller claimed staff wouldn’t give him a refund – and asked officers if they could sort it out.

The man was warned about inappropriate calls to the emergency services and told he could be fined.

The man was in a bar in Manchester’s Northern Quarter when he dialled ‘999’ and asked for police

Insp Phil Spurgeon said “He said he was having a dispute with staff because they would not give him a refund because his wine had bits of cork in it.

“They were trying to eject him because he was being difficult.

“We did not send anyone. The man was given advice.

““These types of call tie up the emergency service lines.

“While a call handler is dealing with a call like it, someone else could be facing a real emergency.

“People who dial 999 for inappropriate reasons could find themselves being fined.”

So, since we’re calling the police about dumb ish, can I put in a call about why I’m not a millionaire yet? Smh.

 

Fail of the Day: Cop Breaks Car Window When Woman Refuses to Roll it Down

This is a fail on both sides. Basically, the police pulled over a woman who refused to roll her window all the way down. After a back and forth with the woman asking why she was being stopped and the police demanding that she do as they say, coppers finally broke her window and yanked her out of the vehicle. Fail. One one hand, she probably could have just rolled her window down, signed the papers and been on her way to the hospital, as she claimed. On the other hand, he could have just slipped the papers inside the little space she provided and been on his way. Everyone lost.

Finally, someone in the hip-hop industry who is real enough to call Miley Cyrus out on her non-twerking. OMG Insider caught up with the media mogul at the iHeart Radio festival over the weekend where he broke it down.

“We gonna talk about the twerking but y’all gotta get the twerking right,” he told the reporter when she brought up the subject.

The clueless reporter didn’t realize she was doing it wrong because she was following the Miley Cyrus model. According to Diddy, you have to be able to move both b#########.

Diddy kinda sorta broke it down but first, let’s be clear that twitching your but from side to side isn’t twerking, that’s actually called “exercising” (I see you Big Freedia). Twerking is more about up and down popping motions and isolations. And of course, the bigger the butt the better. Nassatalls need not apply.

The Music Of Grand Theft Auto V Available on iTunes Feat./ A$AP Rocky, Alchemist + More

(AllHipHop News) Rockstar Game’s Grand Theft Auto V created an expansive digital world, opened it up to the real world and generated over $1 billion dollars in less three days. A large part of that success is the bountiful amounts of music that pervade the game and today (September 24th), all of The Music of Grand Theft Auto is being released in three volumes on iTunes.

The three volumes are comprised of the Original Music, The Soundtrack and The Score. The Original Music will feature songs exclusively made for GTA V from artists such as Tyler, The Creator (“Garbage”) A$AP Rocky (“R. Cali”) and Flying Lotus (“Stonecutters”). The Score will include the music of GTA V score, a first for the Grand Theft Auto franchise, including production from Alchemist with mixing, arrangement and layering done by DJ Shadow. The Soundtrack will take one of Grand Theft Auto’s most lauded features (radio stations) and compiling select songs from each station including Bootsy Collins’ “I’d Rather Be With You”, Flying Lotus’The Kill and many others.

The Music Of Grand Them Auto is available on iTunes as separate volumes ($9.99 each) or all three as a complete set for $24.99.

Drake Says He A 'Big Homie' Like Jay Z + Fixes Relationship With Nicki Minaj

(AllHIpHop News) Drake has the most number one rap songs of all time and he does not want anyone to “lil bro” him. Drake informed MTV that he is asserting himself among the elites.

Drake says there is still a perception of him as an impressionable newcomer which he has no interest in believing:

On this album I’m extremely aware of where I’m at and nobody can tell me differently. I’m the big homie too. As much as I do remain humble and stay cordial, don’t think I don’t know. I know what’s going on out here, I’m 26 — I’m out here in the streets with the people.

On his album Nothing Was The Same Drake addressed this same issue on the song “Paris Morton Music II rapping “f*ck all that ‘happy to be here’ sh– that y’all want me on/ I’m the big homie, they still be tryna lil bro me, dog.” Another lyric addressed was his “Tuscan Leather” admission to “not even talkin’ to Nicki [Minaj]” in a recent interview with Los Angeles’ Power 106:

That song kind of picks up at an earlier point in my life. I had done something that I had to just reevaluate and fix. We’re good. We definitely talk. I saw her the other night. It was all love.

Drake also came in at #11 on Forbes’ 2013 Hip Hop Cash King list raking in $10.5 million over the past 12 months.
