Jay Electronica Releases First Jay Z Collaboration in Over Three Years On Soulja Boy’s “We Made It”

JAY ELECTRONICA AND JAY Z RELEASE FIRST COLLABORATION IN OVER THREE YEARS ON SOULJA BOY’S “WE MADE IT”

“Face all in the Sphinx, story all on the walls of pyramids, you know the black god saved me. You can blow the nose off, that won’t change it/Obamacare won’t heal all that anguish.”-Jay Electronica

“Book of Hov, new religion/8th wonder of the world, alias, superstition”-Jay Z

Jay Electronica might just be back and Jay Z might be in rare form. A little over a week after Jay Electronica releases his first collaboration with Jay Z since 2010’s “Shiny Suit Theory” over Soulja Boy’s “We Made It” instrumental.

Jay Z also takes time to respond to Drake’s criticism of Jay Z’s art references in music. In his interview with Rolling Stone back in February, Drake stated “It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references” and that “the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.” Jay Z made sure Drake knew he heard him:

Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk/Silly me, rapping about sh*t that I really bought/While these rappers rap about guns, they ain’t shot/and a bunch of other silly sh*t they ain’t got.
