Master P Says Eminem, T.I. & 2Pac Expressed Interest In Being Part Of No Limit (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Nearly two decades ago, No Limit Records was one of the premier music companies in Hip Hop. Between 1998 and 1999, founder Master P had the label’s artists putting out projects on nearly a monthly basis. The constant releases and the highly publicized distribution deal with Priority Records made The Tank an appealing option for many performers.

Besides C-Murder, Silkk the Shocker, Mystikal, and Romeo, West Coast representative Snoop Dogg even signed with the New Orleans based label. According to Master P, other eventual Hall of Fame level rappers were interested in partnering with No Limit as well.

“Anybody you can think of called me for advice or thinking ‘What can I do to get with No Limit?’ From Eminem to T.I. to anybody you could think of, we done had that conversation where they wanted to be with No Limit,” P told HipHopDX. “It was a sad tragedy, but [2Pac] was trying to get is life together, thinking ‘What could I do?’ Same thing with Snoop. People started checking for us, because they knew we was making money. They knew we was printing money.”

Eminem? 2pac???…smh ok P lets not take this thing out of context here. Im sayin we know you had homies and all that and the tank was rolling strong at one point and deeper than Atlantis with local artists but i dont think they were serious about jumping on board like that.

    • Drew west

Lol that’s the same shit I was thinking ! Before they came out 2pac was bigger than anything! So , why get down with them ? Then I can’t even imagine Eminem being on no limit ! Eminem, bruh ?

      • now keep in mind Duck Down & No Limit had the same distributor at the time, the Eminem signing never happened at Duck Down cause Priority wouldnt let it happen. so i doubt Priority would let it happen for No Limit

      • Crisstyle Crississippi

PAC was broke!! That’s why he’ll sign and em too

      • Drew west

You talking abt broke … I’m talking abt them building there on legacy… Which I don’t think they wanted to do with no limit.

      • Crisstyle Crississippi

How would you really know what they wanted? Some people don’t care about legacy. For some It’s about feeding your family

      • Drew west

How do you kno what they wanted ? Okay. . . They may do what u said , but umma believe they care abt both feeding there kids an legacy. I mean , you leave a good legacy behind for your kids.

    • snoop jumped on

      • MrNoName2K

After that Titanic called Death Row sank and also made room for him to make 2 regretful garbage albums

      • what was the last good album snoop made? lol

      • MrNoName2K

        The Last Meal imo

      • mademan3000

        Doggy Style!!!

  • Thanx Nerve

This dude is addicted to fairy tales…

  • remy730

that better not be true… you have 2pac, em, and TI lined up aaaand you go and put silk the shocker on??..??…. nope, shit betta be duck tales…

    • dbfromdc

      DUCK TALES!!!LMAO

    • silk is P’s lil brother lol thats why he was on

  • Only thing P can do is look back. Its a wrap bruh

  • Mack

Duck Down had a better chance than No Limit ever had with Em. Not so sure that Pac would’ve signed with a label so lyrically and overall mentally challenged.

    • therealest1

Say it along with me, just say retarded OK.

  • Anjali Joti

    Lying ass nigga

  • dbfromdc

I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT PAC TRIED TO SIGN TO NOLIMIT RECORDS BECAUSE NOLIMIT DID NOT EVEN START POPPIN UNTIL PAC AND BIG WERE BOTH ALREADY DEAD!!!

    • El Dogga

Pac and Biggie died in 96/97……Master P just released the “The Ice Cream Man” album around that time and Ghetto D…they were just bubbling…..lies! lol

      • ghetto dope was that shit!!! def the best thing P ever did!!

      • El Dogga

Hmmmm….either that or the Last Don for me….But I remember when I first heard Ghetto D….I was like oh shyt! I was sold….I actually copped the album after I heard “After Dollaz no cents” or whatever it was called on a DJ Clue mixtape (the good old days)

Mystikal’s Unpredictable opened the gates to me, that was my first amongst many No limit albums i copped.

      • golder1

Master P released his first CD in 91. The Ice Cream man was his 5th studio album. He stayed traveling to the Bay and other areas of Cali and it not a far fetched to think he had dealings with PAC before PAC got real big. None of us know. E-40 said he has been cool with Master P since the late 80’s when they meet in Cali when they both were trying to start their independent labels. I’m sure if P was lying about the West E-40 would speak on it

      • El Dogga

I know his history man. His first CD was the Ghetto is Tryna Kill me. I was referring to people trying to jump on the tank after he got big and pac was dead at the time.

You are right e40 has been down with P for years, he’s been on tons of their songs. I’m not sure if he spoke with Pac or not, but Em? That sounds far fetched…..

    • you guys do know that No Limit was out in the early 90s…P is from Richmond California and maybe just maybe hes telling the truth…he did get Big Pun, Foxy, Nas, JayZ to all do features….so its not a stretch to believe that…besides…Im Bout It Bout It was a 1995 anthem…remember that timeline…gangsta rap was at its peak around that time too
EA Ski was down with No Limit…4 Tay and many west coast artist was linked to P…im saying

      • dbfromdc

2PAC WOULD NOT GO BACKWARDS IN HIS RAP CAREER BY SIGNING WITH MASTER P!!! PAC HAD BEEN A HUGE RAP SUPER STAR WAY BACK SINCE 92 WHEN JUICE CAME OUT!!! NOBODY KNEW WHO P WAS BACK THEN!!!STOP IT

      • mademan3000

Pac wasn’t no damn huge rap superstar back then! Man U guys crack me up

      • dbfromdc

NIGGA STFU YOU PROBABLY WAS NOT EVEN BORN YET IN 92 STUPID ASS NIGGA!!!SMH

      • mademan3000

No need for all that, yes he was famous but ’92 he was not The 2pac yet! Sure he was doing movies & such but he still was not the top dog yet. Shit Snoop was still regarded as the best during that time.(I.e. Doggystyle didn’t come out til ’93) I’ve followed music all my life all genres, oh and FYI I was born way before ’92 homie! Pac gained all his momentum after the Quad Studio shooting then MATW(which in my opinion was his Magnum Opus) dropped in March of ’95 on into the Death Row era! Shit just exploded for him then. Of course he had a few hits and was an established artist before then, but nothing like he was after! 2pacalyse Now & STRICKLY 4 My Ni**gaz had some success, but nothing like the latter! That’s all I’m saying my dude!

      • dbfromdc

IF YOU THING PAC BEING THE LEAD ROLL IN HIT MOVES IN THE EARLY 90’S AS A RAPPER MEANS HE WAS NOT HUGE STAR BEFORE HE EVEN GOT TO DEATHROW!!! THEN YOU MUST SMOKE CRACK BRUH!!!

      • mademan3000

Btw, I’m pumping one of my all time Pac faves this morning On my way to work! No harm fam, just a friendly discussion & difference of opinions that’s all!

      • golder1

PAC had a number one album while he was in prison. If having aa #1 record doesn’t classify him as a star then what does. PAC rap status and success got him his acting jobs in the 90’s

      • mademan3000

Bruh I’m glad u didn’t do like this other guy and get all defensive! Pac first number 1 album was MATW, which dropped in March of ’95. I’m not saying that he wasn’t already famous, but he wasn’t the Pac he was til he got with messy ass Death Row. That’s when all the dissing started and the world really turned into 2pac fanatics. Not trying to discredit ur argument, but a number 1 album doesn’t make u a star(yes he was a star by the time he had his) there’s been plenty flavor of the months with number 1 albums! My comment was in ’92 he wasn’t a huge rap star YET!

      • golder1

PAC went backwards when he signed with The Row, something he didn’t want to do but had to do to get that bail money to get out of prison

      • dbfromdc

WTF ARE YOU TAKING ABOUT GOING BACKWARDS GOING TO DEATHROW!!! SUGE HAD DRE, SNOOP, DAZ KURUPT, NATE DOG, BADASS, RBX ETC!!! THEY WERE THE HOTTEST HIP-HOP RECORD LABEL AT THAT TIME BEFORE PAC EVEN SIGNED WITH DEATHROW BUT I DO AGREE WITH YOU ON THE FACT THAT PAC ONLY WENT TO DEATH ROW FOR THE BAIL MONEY!!!

      • golder1

When you are made to do something you dont want to do because of circumstances then that decision to go to th row was a backwards move for him because it was something he did want to do. Who cares who Deathrow had at the time, time revealed Deathrow business was not in great shape and people hate recording there. Where is Deathrow now???? Backwards move

      • dbfromdc

AT THE TIME IN THE 90’S IT WAS NOT A BACKWARDS MOVE!!! DEATHROW WAS ON TOP!!! WERE THE HELL ELSE WAS PAC GOING TO GET A MILLION DOLLAR IN BAIL MONEY FROM IN THE 90’S??? BADBOY???LMFAO

      • golder1

Who cares if Row was on top that is not the point. Whenever you are to do something you don’t want to do its a backwards move. And where did signing with Deathrow get him, in more bullshit. It was a backwards move, he would have been better off finishing his bid

      • dbfromdc

AIN’T NOBODY GOING TO SIT IN JAIL ON A RAPE CHARGE AND CONTINUE TO GET BEAT UP AND RAPPED THEMSELF!!! YOU SOUND STUPID!!!

      • golder1

Your grammar shows you are stupid. PAC didn’t get beat up or RAPED while in prison. You sound stupid!!!

      • dbfromdc

PAC DID GET RAPPED ON RIKERS ISLAND DUMBASS!!! HE ADMITTED IT HIMSELF IN AN SECRETLY RECORDED CONVERSATION WITH HIS HOMIES MORON!!! EVERYBODY WHO WAS A REAL 2PAC FAN BEFORE HE GOT TO DEATHROW KNOWS THIS!!! THAT IS WHY HE TRIED TO DENY BEING RAPPED IN A SONG!!! I BET YOUR STUPID ASS WAS 3 OR 4 WHEN THIS HAPPEN STILL SHITTING ON YOURSELF SO OF COURSE YOU WOULDN’T KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT DONKEY!!!

      • mademan3000

I’ve been a Pac fan since day one and never heard of no secret tapes. Smdh! It’s amazing how u have access to all this but no one else does! By u typing in all caps & using a ton of exclamation points doesn’t make it true. Lmao!

      • dbfromdc

PAC GETTING RAPPED IN RIKERS IS PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE!!! HE MADE A SONG ABOUT THE RUMOR THATS A FACT!!! IT IS NOT MY FAULT YOU TO STUPID TO DO A LITTLE RESEARCH MORON!!!SMH
WHEN STUPID NIGGAS RUN OUT OF INTELLIGENT THING TO SAY THE FIRST THING OUT THERE MOUTH IS” YOU TYPE IN CAPS”!!! LIKE NO SHIT SHERLOCK!!!

IM NOT GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THIS MISSINFORMED IDIOT!!! I’M OUT

      • mademan3000

It’s all good, I won’t resort to name calling! Although I would love it if u would kindly copy & paste where u found such research. Not calling u a lie, just saying I never heard of it! Enlighten me bruh, I can easily be wrong and not ashamed to say so!

      • golder1

The only dumbass or moron is your non spelling ass. PAC never said he got RAPED in jail. Raped has one P idiot. I grew up the 80’s I know the history. You probably shitting on you dumbass self right now. Real PAC fans beleive facts, you believe something someone told you. Their is no such secret recording idiot. Stop being a sheep youngin!!! You can always tell those who don’t know the truth because they get upset like your ignorant ass but you’ll be fine. Go get your binky and have you mommy change your diaper.

      • mademan3000

Warren G was never signed to Death Row, he was actually signed to Def Jam an east coast label. What irony! Also I beg to differ he did some what go backwards, outside him needing bail money. Death Row needed Pac more than Pac needed Death Row! Reason being Dre was on his way outta the door by then bcuz of all of Suge’s antics. Snoop basically only had one good album and that was Doggystyle! Dogg Pound only had one good album, so don’t get it twisted all those other acts struggled to find success and it most cases it alluded them.

      • Keyser Soze

He’s from New Orleans… But he admitted to getting alot of his independent hustle game from the bay… I believe him %100 pac is dead but not the rest of them cats nobody never got nothing negative to say or come out and say p lying.. with the exception of Soulja Slim nobody from no limit ever disrespect p… internet cats quick to discredit people without doing homework…

      • Vinsanity

Yea but when he started No Limit he was living in Richmond and representing it too.

      • Keyser Soze

He always shows respect to the bay as he should but he never stopped representing New Orleans and No Limit didn’t blow up until he got New Orleans niggas…

      • mademan3000

        Lmao@from Richmond…these guys Fam! Smdh!

  • El Dogga

No Limit been fell off before TI or Em were even trying to get put on!! lol! TALES FROM THE CRYPT!!

    • tra mo

      Ha-ha lmao

    • Drew west

      Lol right !

  • since we telling stories, i got a story: back when i was in high school, me & the boys put a demo tape together then sent it off to No Limit. No Limit sent me a letter back wanting us to go out there to New Orleans to sign a contract with them. we left that shit on the table & never looked back

  • therealest1

This ass clown has legitimately veered toward lunacy now. Just really delusional and it seems like he’s spitting revisionist tales or history.

Has he fallen off this bad that he has to weave stories worse than kids’ tales? Is he this desperate for attention or relevancy.

He should just shut the hell up and live off that money he made off drug addicts when he was in illegal business and also the money he made off stupid ass people in America who bought the shits he released in the late 90s.

    • nothing he said was false nigga, stop hating what u should respect.

      • therealest1

Stop dick riding. Nothing to respect because it was all shit he released.

      • ghetto dope is a classic! step ya game up lil nigga

      • therealest1

Only retarded people think a Master P album can be a classic.

      • only a retarded person and/or someone who doesnt know a damn thing about hip hop would say ghetto dope isnt a classic

      • therealest1

Even black people who are smart or have common sense at least would never consider Ghetto Dope a classic. You’re the only one in here. Have fun supporting shit.

      • even black people huh.. thanks for confirming you dont know a damn thing bruh lmfao

      • therealest1

Thanks for clearly showing you’re infatuated with Master P.

      • Q.

        LOL

      • RespectA

He slow stroking that ni66a badly

      • therealest1

        I know, right.

    • mademan3000

So why hasn’t any of the people he’s talking bout refuted his story? Except Pac of course bcuz he’s no longer with us. At least I think he isn’t! Lol!

  • The Gary Group

Lying ass nigga. Pac was dead when No Limit came about

    • puffinpiff

P never said what year pac was interested in signing, it could of been before he went to deathrow? No limit been around since pac was alive. How many of us knew pac was thinkin of signing to ruthless records back in the day or that snoop was with eazy before dre but chose to roll with dre?

      • Vinsanity

Not Eazy, he was with Above the Law who was with Ruthless.

      • puffinpiff

I think it was DJ Yella or BG Knocc out, said it in an interview on Vlad tv that snoop was even with eazy but chose to roll with dre.

      • therealest1

Correct shitty grammar please. It’s could have. And Death Row is 2 words.

But No Limit was around since the early 90s. They gained steam in late 90s, and died since.

      • puffinpiff

LOL does anybody care about grammar here? Weird MFer. smh

    • Vinsanity

No limit been around since before E passed.

    • Dan Tebasco

P’s been making moves since the early 90’s and Pac could probably respected P’s hustle, but it’s a stretch to think that Pac woulda signed to No Limit tho… They didn’t really start catching a big buzz until 1997 after Pac died, and tbh I don’t think Pac woulda been cool with alot of shit they did, they were swagger-jackin his style pretty hard after his death and even had a Tupac imitator Krazy signed… Pac would not had approved of that for sure… No Limit was big in the south but Death Row was on a whole other level at that time, worldwide fame…

  • yo F those surveys, i just pick random shit so they dont actually learn anything

    • water_ur_seeds

I just click ‘Skip’ they are a fckn joke on a site this big…

  • yo NL was my shit back inn the day!!! that ghetto dope was a classic!! and def the best thing no limit ever did!!

    • Vinsanity

Ice Cream Man, Westcoast Badboys, Bout it bout it, I got the hook up, Soulja Slim, Fiend, Mystical, and of course Snoop, there was a bunch of good records up there with Ghetto D (“You can make crack to this”). I can still hear it in my head.

  • Montezuma1

Master P just shut your broke ass up. Daily you’re slipping from legend status to Meek Mill status.

    • therealest1

He’s been terrible. Legend is a damn inaccurate label for him. He’s basically worsening.

      • Montezuma1

He’s hiding what little money he has so his wife doesn’t take it. Got his son all mixed up in it. You always know when a nigga money funny cause the women bail like rats from a sinking cruise ship.

    • mademan3000

      P, broke? U guys! Lmao!

      • Montezuma1

Family Reality Show for 700k . Wife filing for divorce. Hiding of money to avoid paying the mother of his children and wife of decades. Reviving trash label with trash artists. Abandoning his brother in prison. All signs and moves of a nigga with money problems. His broke is not my broke but his broke means the pressure is on to keep up his standard of living and image. It’s so obvious he’s strapped for cash. His masters are worthless and his reported wealth has always been exaggerated and inflated. He’s back out there because he has no choice.

On a side note: A real music mogul like Berry Gordy hasn’t been on the scene since the 70’s and that paper is still long. It’s long because his masters are laden with classic timeless music not fleeting junk like No Limit. The jig is up.

      • mademan3000

No argument here fam! Oh and I totally agree with u all those guys riches are embellished. As for Barry he jerked a lot of his artist just like the rest did, lol! Ur so right tho, he’ll never hurt for money!

      • Crisstyle Crississippi

This don’t make no type of sense

      • Montezuma1

You have to have at least a 70 IQ to process.

      • Crisstyle Crississippi

If the man was broke he wouldn’t be doing what he’s doing now. P last album to go gold was in 04. It’s 10 years later and the guy can still drop music whenever he wants cause he got money to do . Wu tang can’t bring a album till they get paperwork right and have the right money. P drop music and albums every year and knowing it ain’t gone move heavy units for 10 years!! All you can say is that he’s broke!! You sound stupid

      • Montezuma1

What do Wu Tang have to do with this? Anybody can drop music in this era. Even you. The key is making money from it. The music business as P knew it is DEAD. The money is in streaming not sales. Branding and endorsement deals. P still stuck on selling records out the trunk. He’s a Southern “legend” but it was all a lie. His music was/is trash. That’s not opinion, that’s fact. He owns his masters but no one cares about his music. He was a flash in the pan like all of them. If not for cattle J Prince would be done too. Luke is done. Jermaine Dupri is done and the list goes on. Didn’t Scarface just get arrested for child support? I’m still trying to figure what Wu Tang had to do with this convo but we can go there.

      • Crisstyle Crississippi

All them guys still has something to do with music!! Especially Dupri. Wu tang came up cause they still trying to put an album together and ain’t nothing shaking. Scarface explain the reason behind that and best believe these guys still make money from doing music. They wouldn’t be putting out music at all if they didn’t.

      • Montezuma1

You brought Wu Tang up because you’re a typical Southern hater. The topic is master P. He’s a bum. His kids all got funny names cause he’s ignorant. His wife is a drug addict and his brother is in jail and P turned his back on him because he didn’t have the paper all you country dick riders imagine he had. Your whole foundation is a lie. Even when truth is slapping you in the face you can’t accept it. P tried to pimp his kids but they’re about as talented as him so now he does the reality show for quick cash. He’s hustling. I give him that but he’s washed. Just watch it all unfold as no one tunes into his Reality Show. He’s not Rev Run or even Flava Flav and he’s definitely not Diddy. Hell, he’s not even TI. Those are the only men in rap who succeeded with reality shows. Reality shows are for hoes. Hoes star in them and hoes watch them.

I’m so sick of country niggas talking out their ass. Every last one of them niggas get their checks signed in NY. Act like you don’t know where UMG, Warner, etc is based. Book deals? NY. Endorsement deals? Madison ave. NY. Just leave the new york hate alone and try to get paper off this culture we gave you. Respect your elders so your days may be long.

      • Crisstyle Crississippi

Lol So this what all of this is about!! Now the east need to make south records just to be on in the rap game. That’s the east fault!! Now y’all don’t even get no play at all. Salute to fab and 50 for always showing love to the south. They didn’t wanna let the south in . No limit knocked the door down and the south been running wild since!! Outkast told them folks the south got something to say. Lol

      • Montezuma1

Nigga you are delusional. That’s why you think P is winning. The South didn’t change the game the West did. The South is winning because faggotry is the wave and you niggas are the best at that. I give you that. See Young Thug. Even Dre 3000 is a faggot. NY started losing when homos started winning.

      • Crisstyle Crississippi

Lol how the south didn’t. I don’t agree with all the south music today but just turn your radio on playa.

      • Montezuma1

Don’t you understand Lyor Cohen and Kevin Lyles and Mike Kasiser are responsible for the sound on radio? They’re behind Fetty Wap and Young Thug. You know NOTHING about how this works. The white boys LOVE docile buffoonish negroes and the South is stacked with them. Y’all will out Sambo anyone for a lemon pepper wing.

      • Crisstyle Crississippi

        Who cares bra!!

      • Montezuma1

The South KILLED hip hop. Through the South whites were able to introduce imagery no one else would touch prior. It started with the West and the gang culture that turned rap into turf war. After that happened then all the gay foolishness was promoted. Who but weak minded country boys would openly volunteer to play that role. Go to church on Sunday and sin Monday to Monday. Faggotry and strippers. The best images of black men and women. That’s what the South introduced. You want credit for that? You got it. Look at what the game had to turn to for you be participate. SMDH

      • Crisstyle Crississippi

That shit ain’t got nothing to do with south music!! It’s clearly that you just don’t rock with the south period which is cool. That’s how a lot of rappers from the east are it’s been going on for years. Just give these peoples props for actually putting in the work to get known. Quit hating on the SOUTH!!(pimp c voice)

      • Crisstyle Crississippi

For the record P is not a industry guy. Never was no limit always was underground but somehow with him being a bum everybody trying to follow his blueprint. The man got money!! Stop hating and get like him you should salute a man that comes from the projects and wanna help his people. Thats why he’s rapping now trying to make a way for the youngsters under him. That man set for life!!!!

      • Montezuma1

Dupri is a bum. Luke is a bum. Scarface is a deadbeat. All your heroes are bums.

      • Crisstyle Crississippi

they all have worked hard for the things they got. That’s why Kendrick Lamar the king of new York lol

      • Montezuma1

        Kendrick is a fake Q-Tip.

  • Ronlg1

Nigga….Stop….Lying!!! I don’t even believe P when he said he opened for Pac on tour. I don’t believe his story about Suge calling him and telling him “this town ain’t big enough for the both of us and P responding with ‘so when you moving'”. When Snoop was on No Limit weren’t they recording and living in Baton Rouge????

  • gezuscryst

It’s been over P. You are not making a comeback and the publicity will not work. Take this L, keep your other businesses running and STAY out of the RAP GAME. You are basically fuxing up your legacy like Mike did playing for the Wizards, but MUCH, MUCH WORSE!

  • Getatme

P reachin for air…trying to hold on for dear life…just fade away P u got money, u got clout u got respect. Keep talking and you’ll lose it all

  • water_ur_seeds

I cant check the video, but two things… One, why would he lie when any interviewer just has to do is ask Em or TI if its true???

Two, its not a stretch to think Pac would of spoke and got advice from P and CONSIDERED signing to No Limit… No Limit has been around since the very early 90’s, and P was on tour with Pac, P was getting good money and Pac was broke, so its not inconceivable, the rap game was a alot smaller network back then…

P is a legend, and yeah he is getting publicity with these statements, but I cant see this being a lie…

    • puffinpiff

True about Pac, people acting like P said Pac was going to sign to him after Death Row lol

    • So why didn’t P sign Pac, Em, TI & ?

No limit always had a shallow bench but, P definitely handled biz!

      • mademan3000

Kinda the same way guys flirt with other labels my G! Pac & Em just wouldn’t of been a good fit IMO, however Tip is a southern rapper so I could see that situation possibly working tho.

      • No doubt, P made it seem like he turned them down, but you made it seem 100% more realistic!

      • mademan3000

Preciate it bruh, I be checking for ur shit! Ur one of th few who speaks on things & keep it real nonstop, been following u for a hot second now boss!

      • Same here!
Birds of a feather flock together!
That’s why you never see pigeons soaring with eagles!

Same way loads of rappers didnt sign with certain labels… Pac and Em wouldnt of been a great fit, TI maybe could of but its all about timing… Alot of rappers said they could of signed Em lol

Im not sure when Pac spoke to P, but he went heavy Bay Area with Mac Mall and E40 etc at one point and he was heavy with Stretch and other NY rappers at another point, so I guess his head was turning in busy situations and wasnt ready to go with No Limit… Although he had a house in ATL I believe…

      • Good point!

Man P is most definitely a legend in dis hip hop shit. He the ONLY MUSIC MOGUL to take $10,000 and flip dat shit to a half a BILLION dollars! When ur favorite rapper was/is getting raped by their label, P OWNED his masters. Ya’ll young niggas don’t respect real hustlas…..

  • No Limit

Half this board must be 18 year olds or younger. P been around since 91 and his label put out 16 albums from 91-96. His deal with priority was in 95, which paid his 80% of his sales! Bout it bout came out on the 95 TRU album which was probably the first big song from P. Most of those Albums repped Richmond, Califonia. If he was Touring with Pac it’s possible he “thought” about going to No Limit as the standard was 15% of sales of you where lucky and still had to pay recoup. P was making money. Between 97-99 No Limit has the greatest run in history, you don’t think EM or TI who where just starting out might have reached out?!

So many P haters on here!!

Independence aside, No Limit set a precedent for a lot of the trash rappers we hear today. #100
