LOOK OUT FOR AKON…HE’S GOT A COWBOY HAT ON!
You might have heard of Sisqo and Bobby Brown doing country music for some reality show but what if somebody gets real with it. Oh yeah, you know where this is headed. I am getting word that Akon is planning to do an all country album in the very near future. Now here is the tricky part. Akon is supposedly recording this material under an alias so nobody will shoot his hick efforts down too fast. I think he’s going to release or already has released material under this name. Somebody told me that he’s already scored a hit song, but I wouldn’t know what that song is. If you have a clue, let me know.
Also, I heard that he signed Tammi Chyn and is calling her “the next Amy Winehouse.” Is that good? Is that possible?
THE JAY/MARY CONCERT!
Melo gave me the rundown of the Jay-Z/Mary J. Blige show in his eyes. If you don’t want it spoiled, don’t read this:
Peace Illseed! But I was in Miami for the Easter weekend. First of all, Mary went in. For real, she got hits! Mary and Jay came out together and then Mary set the show off. Jay was next and his show was good also, but a bit dry. He did too many of the “American Gangster” songs and people weren't all into that. They basically want to hear the catalog of hits and that s**t is super long. He brought out Jeezy to do his verse for Shawty Lo's song “Dey Know.” I thought it was corny, but people were excited behind that. He brought out Bleek also to help him in like two songs and sent Bleek right back. Brought out Timberland to do “Big Pimpin’.” That was tuff. And then he brought out the one and only… That's right you know who I'm talking about... The Louie man himself... Kanye West... That’s like saying the “Glow in the Dark” concert just started…lol.. The house basically came down at that point. Kanye did two whole songs. I know Jay is happy to know Mr. West is with him. By the way, The Dream opened up the show. He was decent...He had some nice dirty dancers.
MORE ON THIS JUVENILE STUFF! “IT AIN’T MINES”
Not to harp too hard on this Juvenile stuff, but the info keeps coming in. On his Juve The Great album (which dropped Dec. 2003) he has a song called “It Aint Mines,” where he he really lets his true feelings known about his daughter. On that song, he raps, “I don't know why you be acting all shady I only want to hit it and wont make you my old lady so don't be telling me this my baby.” This isn’t an attack, but I guess I am started to finally develop an opinion of my own.

Recently my Chi-town homey, Kendra G. caught up with Ray-J and they had a nice conversation on his tour bus that has mirrors on the ceiling! For the first time Ray-J had nothing but nice things to say about Kim Kardashian. (When Ray J was on "Tyra" he said he had two words for Reggie Bush, "Sloppy Seconds"). Common recently made a statement responding to the harsh words that his pastor Reverend Jeremiah Wright had to say. According to Common he’s just keeping it real peep this:

Man when the checks stop coming…. So we all heard Kelly is working on her new CD (thanks illseed - you try!) and she has re-released her Ms.Kelly CD, but it seems that’s just not enough. There are whispers that her management team is looking to get the R&B crooner onto someone’s Broadway rooster. They have been looking into two plays in particular – “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” and “The Color Purple.” Supposedly both plays are interested in having her join the cast so things are looking good for Ms. Kelly! THE SIGNS THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END!
You know, this stuff just gets more and more depressing, but this is what is going on in the world so the stories have to be told. Everybody loves a good kid, right? Not Sherman Burnett Jr. This young teen is going to go down in history as a monster, I am afraid to say. Burnett says a young girl of six years old threw a rock at him. Whether or not the rock hit him is not clear, but it was thrown. Well, Sherm didn’t like that. He’s going to punish her for doing that. He drags her out in the woods beats and rapes her. Not just rape, he sodomized the young girl. Beat her up, until her ear was partially torn off, had a lacerated liver, skull fracture and bruises everywhere. He thought he had killed her. The girl didn’t die. She covered herself with leaves to hide and stay warm. She made it through the night and was found less than 200 feet from her own home at about 5:30 am in the morning. She was able to identify Sherm relatively quickly. After it was all said and done, Not Sherman Burnett Jr. was sentenced to 60 years in jail at the age of 15. The years were based on the number of years the little girl said he should get.
