(AllHipHop News) It appears Nicki Minaj is working on new music.
Ebro In The Morning spoke with the YMCMB representative, and she mentioned that a collaboration with fellow New York rapper Remy Ma may be a possibility.
“When I was working on The Pinkprint, I wanted to do a song with Remy and Foxy [Brown]. And I still have the song to this day,” revealed Nicki. “It was on a Diplo beat, but it was super hood and hard.”
The trio was not able to make that track happen, but Minaj added, “I think it’s only a matter of time before [Remy] and I do something.”
Nicki was also questioned about musical work with her boyfriend Meek Mill.
The two rap stars have been dating throughout Meek’s feuds with Joe Budden, Drake, The Game, and Beanie Sigel.
“There are times where he doesn’t share with me what he’s about to do. Especially when it’s like battle rap stuff,” said Nicki. “He’ll go in and just do him, and then I’ll react like a fan.”
She continued, “I think everybody’s over [the beefing]. I mean come on. It’s pretty played out. It’s over.”
The “Anaconda” performer went on to say she believes there is no such thing as “negative publicity” and “great music” changes public perception.
“If n-ggas got your name in their mouth for a year or two, then thank them. Because if you come with great music after all that, then none of that matters,” explained Nicki. “Social media has given so much power to irrelevant sh-t.”
