Hip-Hop Rumors: Drake's Probably Not Banging Kris Jenner

The most recent word on the street is that Kris Jenner split with hubby Bruce Jenner and that she’s now dating Drake. I reached out to some sources who say this isn’t true. Drake can be a serial monogamist and he does have a thing for older women but it’s not Kris Jenner. People saw them in a photo together and saw a tweet exchange and jumped the gun. He performed at Kylie Jenner’s Sweet 16 and does have a relationship with the Kardashian/Jenner crew but it’s not that deep.

I mean, I wouldn’t put it past Kris Jenner to get down with the cougar get down but not with Drizzy. He’s probably busy with some video model somewhere in Hawaii or something.

My first Grammy was my first brick/red carpet was every bad b*tch/More BMF than Bilboard, I got a label deal under my mattress

5 & Done: ILLClinton

(AllHipHop Features) The city of Atlanta is the epicenter to some of the most accomplished Hip Hop acts in history like OutKast, T.I., Goodie Mob, Ludacris, and Young Jeezy. One set of siblings from “The A” is looking to add their name to that illustrious list in the future.

22-year-old emcee/producer Brennan and 24-year-old producer Blake of North Atlanta’s ILLClinton draw inspiration from their musical influences Kanye West, No I.D., 9th Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Jay Z, OutKast, and The Pharcyde. The former Alabama A&M University students were raised by a mother who spent two decades as a chorus teacher, and they participated in band and orchestra programs in high school, so music has been ingrained in their life since infancy.

The duo jumped into the rap music world when they began making beats in 2007, but it was not until last year that they decided to go beyond just producing tracks to actually crafted a career as the Hip Hop group ILLClinton. After dropping their debut mixtape ILLANTA earlier this year, Brennan and Blake recently released the Scion AV hosted EP The ILL Experiment. AllHipHop spoke with the buzzing brothers to discuss the project, what makes them different from other Atlanta rap acts, and whether they think Hip Hop is dead.

AllHipHop: What’s the meaning behind your group’s name?

Brennan: ILLClinton is like a play on words. You know of course Bill Clinton. The real meaning behind it is we just feel like we’re the illest of an era. We grew up in the 90’s which you can call the Bill Clinton Era. We just think we’re like the illest of the era that we grew up in.

AllHipHop: How did you connect with pro skater Sal Barbier to work on your “New Alexandria” video?

Brennan: That was kind of a hook up through Scion. We never actually got up with Sal. He’s just kind of a creative director for the video. He just gave a blueprint of an idea that was cool with the theme, content of the song. It ended up being real cool. He’s a nice guy. We spoke with him a few times over the phone.

AllHipHop: On your EP you have a track called “Hip Hop” where you say, “if Hip Hop’s dead then we gonna resurrect this s**t.” What’s your opinion of the current state of Hip Hop?

Brennan: I actually think that Hip Hop is in a pretty good state. I feel like it’s coming back. I feel like it’s a lot of new talent that is bringing a resurgence of Hip Hop. I feel for awhile it kind of strayed away from what it’s roots were. But with “if Hip Hop’s dead, then we gonna resurrect this s**t,” it was more of a statement like if you think it’s dead, it’s not dead at all. We’re not gonna let that happen.

AllHipHop: Atlanta is a real hotbed for rap music. What makes ILLClinton stand out from other rising acts from the city?

Blake: I feel with music everything is its own entity, so we just want to create our own lane that doesn’t really sound like everyone else in Atlanta. We just wanted to create something that will be our own and not sound like everyone else.

Brennan: I’m real big on lyricism. I feel like content is everything. I want to be able to spread messages through the things that I’m saying. If you can do that in a city like Atlanta, where it’s a big music influence down here, it’s a big platform for people to hear when you say something.

AllHipHop: Do you guys have any plans on releasing a full album?

Brennan: A full studio album is definitely in the future. We’re probably going to start working on another project before that. Just to get some content out. We released our first project back in February of this year, so we’re still kind grinding away at the underground route. But definitely in the near future we’ll probably drop an album in 2014.

Kanye West Spazzes on Paparazzi For Harassing Him Outside of His Home At 4 A.M.

So go and grab the reporters/So I can smash their recorders/See they confuse this with some bullsh*t, like the New World Order-Kanye West

(AllHipHop News) There’s investigative journalism, then there’s paparazzi and then there is illegal trespassing. Earlier this morning (September 27th) Kanye West had a furious verbal confrontation with a few paparazzi photographers who were outside of his house at 4 A.M.

The photographers attempted to ask Kanye about last night’s exchange of words with Jimmy Kimmel through social media, but Kanye shut all questioning down quickly:

Stop asking me questions. You outside of my house at 4 A.M. talking about how’s it going? It’s not going good. Y’all trying to make money off of it.

While there was no physical altercation, Kanye did lunge at one of the photographers when attempted to take pictures of a woman who was exiting Kanye’s car, supposedly Kim Kardashian.

According to TMZ, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were en route to catch a flight to Paris.  Kanye has recently been informed by his lawyers to avoid paparazzi by not flying through LAX.

WTF News: Flesh-Rotting Drug Surfaces in Arizona

A homemade drug that causes severe damage to the flesh has shown up in Arizona. Newsy reports that the drug, called Krokodil, had previously surfaced in Russia and it’s a disfiguring and possibly lethal mixture of codeine and hydrocarbons like oil, paint thinner, gasoline or alcohol.

Via Huffington Post:

According to doctors at Banner Poison Control Center, two cases of the drug have been reported in the state in the past week.

“As far as I know, these are the first cases in the United States that are reported… We’re extremely frightened,” Dr. Frank LoVecchio, the co-medical director at the center, told KLTV.

Users filter and boil the drug before injecting it. Although LoVecchio said users believe the process removes the impurities, they are wrong.

Once injected, the drug causes damage to blood vessels and tissue that cause flesh to rot from the inside out. The horrific sores that some users develop resemble crocodile skin, which lends the street drug its name. The average life expectancy of a krokodil user is about three years, according to KSAZ.

The main attraction is that it costs a lot less than heroin but produces a similar high. Yet you might want to google it to see what it does. The picture you see here is child’s play.

Audubon- Us Over Them (P###. Sonaro)

So are we putting love over sin/are we putting Us over Them?

Audubon has truly been diversifying his lyrical concepts and production preferences over this past year. Now, the Washington Heights MC returns with “Us Over Them” a moody Sonaro-produced love song that switches to a splintering, energetic examination of the ills of love.

This song appears on his new mixtape Hotel Audubon mixtape available http://www.hotelaudubonrsvp.com/

Hip-Hop Rumors: Jimmy Kimmel Responds to Kanye's Twitter Rants, Takes Shot at Kim

Jimmy Kimmel seems genuinely excited that he’s involved in a hip-hop beef. He actually said, “Finally I’m in a rap feud.” That being said, we probably all thought that Jimmy Kimmel would keep it cute and move on from this following Kanye West’s twitter rant about him in regard to the now infamous skit. Wrong.

Not only did he respond to Kanye West’s tweets but he also took a slight shot at Kim K by bringing up the tape, you know which one. Check it out:

Jimmy Kimmel is trying it. Kanye might seem like a safe rapper to beef with but don’t be too sure. Mr. Kimmel, you are not above the laying on of hands. Just sayin.
