Investors Sue Promoters Of Lil Wayne Concert Canceled Three Times

(AllHipHop News) A group of investors are turning to legal action in hopes of having their money returned after a concert that was supposed to feature Lil Wayne was canceled three different times. Investors filed a lawsuit against RMF Productions, Edward Strickland and Andre Langston, seeking at least $180,000 to bring the rapper to Rochester, New York. According to RMF Productions, Lil Wayne was advanced $100,000 dollars to perform at the Blue Cross Arena in October of 2008, but canceled the show, blaming an inferior sound system. The rapper, who was promoting his release Tha Carter III, rescheduled the Rochester show for December 6th, 2008, but canceled that date to rehearse for his “I Am Music Tour.”The second concert was rescheduled for January 21, but that concert was scrapped and no make up date was offered to fans in Rochester. While Lil Wayne is not named in the most recent lawsuit, he may have to show up in court over the three canceled shows. In February of 2009, RMF Productions filed a $1.3 million dollar lawsuit against Lil Wayne and his manager Cortez Bryant for cancelling all three dates.

DAME DASH IS A GREAT MAN!

I’m telling you.

Dame Dash is a great man and you cannot keep a great man down. This leads me to my rumor. Rumor has it, Dame Dash is reforming Roc=A-Fella. Wait a sec…that’s not a rumor…that’s fact. OK, well here is a rumor. The stage may be set for some sort of friendly competition with the new Roc-A-Fella and Roc Nation. A battle of the ROC. Now, I have no facts yet, but there are some whispers from the Roc Nation side that that Roc brand may want to really and firmly establish that in super stone to make sure there is no confusion as to “who runs this town.” So, now Dame OWNS the name Roc-A-Fella.That’s HIS. So, we are starting to see the new Roc-A-Fella chapter emerge. I wonder if Curren$y can hold it down.

JEEZY MAD AT DRAMA AGAIN?

Drama is a busy character. Dude is always running around making hot mixtapes and stuff. Yeah, that. From what I heard Drama may have been a lil too busy for Jeezy’s liking. Jeezy was trying to put out Trap or Die 2 and Drama was taking to long. This means they deferred to the other great DJ Don Cannon. But, on the other side, Don Cannon may be working with Gucci Mane and that’s not pleasing to Jeezy.

Shout out to Breezy. Dude is trying really hard to stay in the game. Most of us felt he needed a break from the game. He’s not doing that. Soooooo, what I am hearing is CB is working on a mixtape that will get all of his fans back. This mixtape is going to featured Tyga and some other people. This is not the album those two were working on either. I still think that is the case.

Edit. This mixtape is the “album” with Tyga and its called “Fan of a Fan.”

Jay-Z and Eminem To Collaborate On New York and Detroit Shows

(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z and Eminem are all set to join forces in a pair of concerts in each entertainer’s hometown

At the New York show, the two rap giants will play the very first concert at the new Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. That show is September.

A couple weeks before the New York show is the Detroit show on September 2 at Comerica Park.

Eminem made the announcement at game two of the Yankees and Detroit Tigers doubleheader in Detroit.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime set of shows, and I know we’re both really going to bring it to our hometowns,” Eminem said Wednesday. “The fans are going to love this and so am I. It’s going to be historic.”

The pair also collaborated on the popular DJ Hero video game earlier this year.

(AllHipHop News) Actor Robert Pattinson revealed that he would have been a rapper, had he not become one of the world’s most famous actors. Pattinson, who stars as Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga, is also known for his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The actor, who was named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World in April, made the shocking revelation during a recent trip to The Oprah Winfrey Show. “I used to want to be a rapper when I was, like, 14, I grew up watching American movies and stuff,” Pattinson told Oprah during an interview with Twilight cast members Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart. Pattinson and company were promoting the upcoming movie The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The actor didn’t seem to mind his choice of career. “It’s a great position to be in, because you can walk into a room and everybody’s screaming,” Pattinson told Oprah. “It’s not really about you. So it never really goes to your head, and you can kind of participate in it. It’s about the fans themselves.”The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is due in theaters on June 30th.

At your request I wanted to send some more “Love” and a few new things to “Consider.”

I used to write these inspirational messages all the time and decided to go easy cause just maybe what I write is waaay too positive for some. Let me go ahead and apologize to you in advance. I don’t have any rumors, drama, or any kind of Hollywood or music inside scoop. I’m not trying to sell you anything, nor is this an invite to a party. It’s a message that has REALLY changed my life that I wanted to share it with you.. So stay with me I’m going somewhere..

I want you to really sit on this for a second..

My approach to life has been… “I SEE the invisible, I HEAR in silence, I CLIMB invisible stairs, it’s called having faith in God with no points of reference.”

What is it with people that come up with these 5 or 10 year plans?

My mentor John Bryant once said to me, “If you wanna make God LAUGH tell HIM YOUR plan” (This is not to discourage anyone from creating goals). But consider this… if I had thought for 1 second when I was 16 years old that from getting on a bus to sing abut Coca Cola in a 30 second commercial (smile) it would have led to over 15 years of show business, and all the MANY amazing things that I’ve done, been exposed to and powerful people I’ve met and worked with, no one in the WORLD could have told me ANY of this was gonna happen.. My faith in God with NO point of reference ORDERED my steps and his blessings were REVEALED to me along the way.

People are starting to get lazy with their relationship with God.. Of course I believe in PRAYER, etc., etc., etc… But I also believe that after you’re done PRAYING (and “Begging while

Praying” for some folks out there) you have to get up off of your knees and get out there and EXECUTE.. Michael Jordan said it best.. “You can’t get POINTS TODAY for YESTERDAYS game” This has been my approach to my success.. I’m not the wealthiest guy in your inbox, nor am I the biggest star in the world.. But my grind is that of a man who has yet to accomplish ANYTHING..

I better wrap this up right?.. I’m getting long winded.. Ok.. ok.. Here we go.!

If this post finds you laying in bed… Ask yourself… Did you REALLY maximize your day with EVERY possible thing you could have done to move your life FORWARD??? Are there more calls you COULD have made to get things in motion?

Consider that because you may have more money than ALL your friends and family you’ve gotten LAZY and don’t really feel like you have to work AS hard as you did when you first got it poppin!!! But, do you REALLY think you made it?? Are you REALLY done?? Do you really believe “Prayers without Execution” is gonna lead to ANY of your plans or goals coming to life??

When you get this message, know this it was no accident that you made it to the bottom of this post. This is AMERICA, people are literally putting their LIVES on the line to be in this great country of ours and for you to be so damn LAZY and NOT trying to take advantage of these blessings that are right in front of you, is just NOT IT..!! I believe that “Every blessing taken for granted becomes a curse.” Stop going to parties and s### for photo ops, shaking hands and going home with NOTHING. Have a plan. Find out who’s gonna be at these events and DECIDE what you’re gonna talk to them about.. MAXIMIZE, EXECUTE, MAXIMIZE…

Listen, I have waaay more to say on this topic but I will end it here.. You know who you are…

Think for one-second, how is it that YOU know the amount of people you know, if you wasn’t supposed to figure out SOMETHING that you can do to SHIFT this world.

Will Smith once said something to the affect of.. “Ideas are physical, if they stay in your MIND, you’re robbing the world of experiencing them.”
