Ja Rule Responds To Meek Mill Name Dropping Him On Drake Diss Track “Wanna Know”

DID JA SEND A JAB AT DRIZZY?

(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill’s diss track “Wanna Know” ended abruptly after the Philly rhymer spit, “This that Ja Rule sh*t and 50 Cent.” The line was a reference to the infamous battle between the Murder Inc representative and the G-Unit boss.

Most Hip Hop followers believe that battle was a clear victory for 50 Cent. At the time, Ja was dropping hit after hit with his sing-song version of rap. Then 50 went on the attack with a decisively more aggressive musical style.

So it would seem Meek is linking himself with the street approach of 50 Cent and connecting Drake to the pop friendly music of Ja Rule. But Ja does not appear to believe that is a fair comparison. It even looks as if the Queens rapper/actor took a slight jab at Drizzy.

Ja wrote on Instagram, “Which one supposed to be Ja Rule??? #Over30millionrecordsSOLD #IwriteallmySh*t #MeekvsDrake.”

The conflict began when Meek accused Drake of not writing the lyrics on his “R.I.C.O.” verse off the Dream Worth More Than Money album. Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex has since released a reference track of Atlanta rapper Quentin Miller performing “R.I.C.O.” as well as other Drake verses.
