Kendrick’s TPAB moved 25,000 copies, making it once again the highest selling rap album of the week. The project opened with 324,000 copies sold in March 2015. It spent 2 weeks at the top of the Billboard 200, R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and Rap Albums charts that year.

The TDE/Aftermath/Interscope release won the Best Rap Album trophy at the 58th annual Grammy Awards last week. In addition, the RIAA recently certified To Pimp A Butterfly as platinum under the new rules for its Platinum and Gold Awards program.
