Compton, California natives Lil’ Eazy E and pro skater Terry Kennedy have teamed to repair a Venice Skate Park and Community Center, in conjunction with Boost Mobile Rock Corps (BMRC).
The pair will roll up their sleeves tomorrow (June 18th) along with the Skate Park Association of the USA (SPAUSA) Lil’ Eazy and Terry Kennedy will join a number of youth volunteers, who will rehabilitate the Skate Park by adding greenery and murals, painting the exterior of the VCPJA building and making improvements to the sanctuary area.
Over 3,000 volunteers will be rewarded with an exclusive concert hosted by comedian/actor Tracy Morgan this Friday (June 20th) at the June 20 at Gibson Amphitheatre.
The invitation-only concert will also features performances by Common, Flyleaf, Akon, Puddle of Mudd and Academy Award Winning hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia.
Lil’ Eazy E is the son of famed Gangster rap pioneer Eazy-E, who founded the legendary Ruthless Records imprint.
Terry Kennedy, who has starred on MTV’s ‘Viva La Bam,’ is also the caption of Pharrell Williams’ Ice Cream skate team.
Kennedy is also sponsored by Boost Mobile, who’s BMRC organization is a national youth volunteerism movement, which engages over 30,000 members nationwide to improve their local communities, in return for free concert tickets and other rewards.
