“I don’t even deserve a Jay Z feature ,” he told host Marc Lamont Hill, “’cause I ain’t go gold or platinum. To me, you can’t work with a gold or platinum artist if you haven’t [gone] gold or platinum — even though I can still bring a crowd bigger than probably 90 percent of the gold and platinum artists. When I say gold and platinum I mean they’re legends, not record sales. You know what I mean? Like, what did I do to deserve a Jay Z feature or a ‘Ye feature? I gotta work for that, man.”
He went on to describe the upcoming project as “super undergroud.”
“I don’t even want radio to play it,” he said. “That’s Waka Flocka. I want it for my fans.”
