A$AP Rocky Inspires Rapper To Make "Gay Rap Song", Rocky Apologizes For Gay Comment

(AllHipHop News) A$AP Rocky has been the center of much criticism regarding his sexuality and his appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards inspired an openly gay rapper. Rapper Chapman recorded and released “Gay Rap Song” following Jason Collins and A$AP Rocky introducing Macklemore  at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.

In a statement sent to Huffington Post, the Chicago native cites A$AP Rocky controversially poiting to co-presenter and openly gay NBA player Jason Collins when talking about homosexuals during the Macklemore introduction as motivation to create the song:

I’ve been making fun, less personal music for a while and kinda had all these opinions on the backburner, thinking I’d get to them as my career grew and I gained more listeners. But after the Jason Collins/ASAP intro to the Macklemore performance at the VMAs, it all just kinda came out impulsively and I recorded the rap on GarageBand in my apartment.

The track finds Chapman exploring the hypocritical treatment of homosexuals in Hip Hop with lyrics such as “Why gay people always kept in the background/They build the looks, create the sound.”

In a recent interview with The Stashed, A$AP Rocky apologized and cleared up misconceptions over his seemingly homophobic treatment of Jason Collins, admitting that he has homosexual members of his own family:

I’m mad that my facial expressions was like that because I’m not homophobic at all, and that whole thing just came off real homophobic. I didn’t really notice it until I got home and saw it. I apologize to Jason for that, because people was laughing and s###, and you know… I really don’t think that’s funny. I saw they were making all the memes and pictures and making fun of him. There’s people out there that think I was doing that to be funny, and truthfully I got gay people in my family. I don’t give a f### if you gay or you not, I just found it odd that MTV wanted to stand me next to this n*gga when they are talking about gay people, that’s all. You know what I’m saying?

Hip-Hop Rumors: We Gonna Just Act Like Tyga Ain't Say Gucci Has HIV?

“First off Let’s address the elephant in the room . Every 1 knows Burberry has HIV dats why nobody f## with him.” – Tyga

OK, I was going to skip this rumor, but how can you when Tyga straight up put it all over the place, calling it the”Elephant In The Room.”

Definition: “Elephant in the room” is an English metaphorical idiom for an obvious truth that is either being ignored or going unaddressed.

Now, I will be the FIRST to admit, I have never heard this rumor a day in my life. I won’t all the reasons I can’t fully believe it but there are a few. What do you think? I’m wondering.

SEE ALSO: Hip-Hop Rumors: Did Nicki Minaj Really Do Waka And Gucci?

I’m thinking that is possible that Tyga got mad and went to Twitter to spit the most slanderous stuff he could to get back at Gucci for saying he smashed his girl Chyna.

On the other side… Elephant in the Room suggests this is something that these guys have known for years and that changes the conversation considerably.

Well, that has apparently changed. And, just for the record, millions of people have HIV and AIDS and we don’t banish them from Earth. So, maybe Tyga was being “witty” when he said “nobody f**k with him.”

Hip-Hop Rumors: Illseed's Quickies!

Kanye West finally took the chance to diss Ray-J. “Brandy little sister lame, he know it now,” Kanye said at the performance on Fallon. We reported the show, but not that insignificant tidbit. Damn, Kanye dropped an album this year, but it doesn’t feel like it to me.

George Zimmerman assaulted his father-in-law and reportedly threatened to shoot his wife, but he’s still out in the world. He reminds me of OJ Simpleton. Only a matter of time, buddy….

There are rumors that Baby aka Birdman will be bringing back LUGZ, the sneaker boot thingy. I didn’t think they still made Lugz, but apparently, they do and Birdman will have his own shoe AGAIN. They discontinued his previous kick in 2008.

The twerk girl on fire was FAKE. Somebody on the AHH staff called it, because you can see the girl literally push herself over from to door. But, I admit, I was fooled. The dude Jimmy Kimmel got us good.

Pusha T Speaks on Subliminal Diss To Lil Wayne, Kanye Kicking Him Out Studio + More (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Fuse caught up with Pusha T at Rock The Bells this past weekend and got him to discuss his tweet heard ’round the blogosphere. On the day Lil Wayne released his Dedication 5 mixtape with DJ Drama, his frequent rival sent out a general tweet seemingly denouncing the project:

In his interview with Fuse, Pusha denies the tweet being about Lil Wayne but coyly sent another shot at the Young Money general:

If I say a blanket statement like such what gives y’all the right to just pin it on a man? Unless you think the sh*t is horrible.

Pusha T reveals that the hold up for his debut album, My Name Is My Name is largely due to Kanye West’s creative decisions. The album was originally scheduled to be released on July 16th and has since been pushed back to October 8th. According to Pusha, Kanye took all the files for his album and even kicked the Virgina lyricist out the studio to finish it:

Working with ‘Ye, it usually works like I’ll rap to a skeleton, he takes that and builds aroudn all of that. So this is just the production process of the Kanye West thing. I thought I told you I got kicked out the studio. He took my drive from me and told me ‘go shoot a video or something’. I went to shoot “Numbers on The Board”. It’s not my fault.

While his debut album has suffered push backs and has not been released yet, Push says he’s already working on his sophomore album, King Push.
