JAY-Z’S “SON” COMES BACK TO THE LIMELIGHT?

A recent report has re-opened a serious topic of discussion for Jay-Z. It was just a few years ago when reports were all over that Jay-Z had a secret son that he didn’t admit to the public. [Link]

Now can reveal that the fiercely private rapper – who’s worth an estimated $400 million – reportedly has a secret 7-year-old son who he’s amazingly managed to hide from the limelight all this time. The boy apparently bears a striking resemblance to his father and is the result of Jay-Z’s romance with Trinidadian model Shenelle Scott which ended in 2001, before he met Beyoncé.

Jay-Z has gone to great lengths to distance himself from the claims, despite reports that he’s privately admitted paternity. Beyoncé, whom he married in April 2008, is now apparently accepting of the boy and is even said to have gone on holiday with her stepson in the South of France.

Although Jay-Z’s spokesman denied that there was any truth in ‘these ridiculous rumours’, the rebuttal falls short of a denial that the rap star is the boy’s father. Despite approaching Jay-Z’s representatives repeatedly last week, they refused to comment.

Sources say that Shenelle and her son live a quiet life in Trinidad at a $2.5 million home that Jay-Z bought for them after paternity tests revealed a positive match. It’s also thought that Shenelle, 28, brings her son to see Jay-Z in New York, where he’s based, whenever she flies there for modeling assignments.

DRAKE INDIE OR SIGNING TO UNIVERSAL

There are a number of things that can affect the life of a singer or rapper. One of them is their choice of record label. So, Drake is in such a critical stage in his career, there are actual rumors about what he’s going to do next. Now, I have intel that tells me that Drake is definitely going to Universal Records. Those reports actually come from Drake, who says such a deal should be finalized this week. The interesting thing is that Drake said he’s going to be dealing with an imprint in the Universal Family. Wonder if that could be Cash Money. There are some reports that suggest Drake might just go with indie or an least use the threat to leverage something bigger. See, Drake’s new song is blowing up all over the place with no label and he’s also dropped it on iTunes. Even though he is pretty late, its a very big move that could lead to more money and control than with a major. I think the major money is going to be pretty big, but Drakie will be straight either way.

Let me see if I can get this right. R.Kelly has been linked to a South African women that scammed people out of millions. Apparently, Kellz is innocent this time and is working with the police. Her name is Busisiwe Zakwe and she deposited money into Kelly’s bank account. I guess she was giving away other people’s money and defrauding them to get Kellz to Africa or something. I am sure I am getting this all wrong. Anyway, 67 people have come up and said that she ripped them off. She told them they would make money off of R.Kelly’s African tour. SMH.

MAXWELL IS HIP-HOP!

I was talking to the homey Santo and he gave me a quick rundown of his encounter with Maxwell. Apparently, Maxwell was eating at a restaurant down the street and Santo’s boy brought him through. Anyway, his homey Supreme is an OG DJ that was in an old Sir Mix-A-Lot video. Well, Maxwell was buggin out at the fact that Supreme was spinnin so well, that he asked Supreme to DJ at his concert this week in Seattle. How cool is that? Maxwell drops on the 7th of July.

This is the craziest mess ever! A man from Arizona went and stabbed his entire family to death. Well, guess who he is crediting with possessing him into doing the dastardly deed. EMINEM! Yeah, according to myfoxphoenix, a man saw his wife as a demon at 4 am when he stated to stab her to death. He said, “Here comes Satan, I’m the anti-Christ, I’m going to kill you,” according to reports. So dude kills his wife. His kids hear and come running and he kills them too. Actually, the 4 year old son survived despite being stabbed 11 times by his father. He has a pair of murder charges and one attempted murder charges coming his way.

I’m telling you! Some of these people are pure freaks – a new wave breed of FREAK! A dude from Arkansas now faces accusations that he had sex with a 13-year-old girl ‘s dog and horse. The girl caught the dude red-assed trying to screw her dog. Somehow or another, they determined that he had done something with the damn horse too. Dude is facing up to a year in jail and a one-stack fine. Oh, he’ll also be considered a sex offender as well and will be registered as if he molested a child. He’s got some other charges against him as well, but that’s jibber jabber.
