(AllHipHop News) Police in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania are seeking a dark, four-door sedan with tinted windows, that they believe was involved in a shootout after a show featuring French Montana.
The shootout occurred on Thursday (February 28), after French Montana’s show at The Theater of the Living Arts. Police said hundreds of fans had surrounded French Montana’s tour bus when the shooting started.
According to Capt. James Clark, the sedan pulled up and fired upon the crowd, striking Jowann King, 26 of Flushing, New York, in the abdomen, leaving him dead, while injuring another man, who was shot in the shoulder.
Police said that at least two people in the crowd returned fire, but it was determined they had permits for their weapons.
Police said the rapper was in the back of his bus in a sound proof studio with Philly native, Meek Mill. Outside of police headquarters, the rapper addressed reporters and said “Nobody was shooting at me.”
French Montana also addressed the matter via Twitter.
Police are seeking any witnesses who may have seen the shooting, and asking for tips.
