They’re treating her like a hardcore street criminal over taxes! This is shameful!

    • Chris

If a middle-class family can pay their taxes each and every year, Lauryn Hill has no excuse. Now that’s shameful.

      • cromthelaughinggod7

Though true that is extreme because plenty of white people who don’t pay merely pay a fine and walk scott free. FACT!

      • *Difference between failing to pay taxes and tax evasion.

JUST BECAUSE YOU PAY YOUR TAXES AND ARE HAPPY ABOUT IT DOESN’T MEAN THAT EVERYBODY ELSE HAS TO. i BET YOU WOULD HOP ON 1 LEG AND RUB YOUR BELLY IF THE US GOV TOLD YOU TO BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW ANY BETTER LAND OF THE FREE MY ASS. AINT SHIT HERE FREE EVERYTHING COMES WITH A COST.

      • Chris

Say, bruh. This sht really got you butt-hurt, doesn’t it? SMH.

    • No, the landlord is treating her like a dead beat.

      • Anne Noise

Because not paying rent somehow makes you NOT a deadbeat?

      • Love is blind….until they paying for her & her 5 kids.

    • Anne Noise

A “hardcore street criminal” would be doing a lot more time than 3 months in jail, 3 months in house arrest.

  • I’m sure that she is going to write a song and blame this one on society as well.

  • jsj23

Why is she paying rent? Shouldn’t she own a home by now?

    • No, she used the money that she could have bought a house with & paid rent///kind of like eating with a hole in the back.

You know most people think that just because you are a singer or rapper you make alot of money. When you got everybody in your pockets you don’t have alot of money especially when that 360 contract is involved. Also she has never said that she has had alot of money or ever acted like she was rich bottom line we don’t know her situation now or when she was singing back in the 90’s.

  • Homegrown Chicks

The “income tax” is illegal! No one is supposed to be paying it. That is all.

You know… if I could get paid thousands of dollars for sitting on stage and singing a bunch of old songs for two hours… I’d be doing it every night.

she has like 10 kids. They eating her money. Im sure they all go to private school and nanny’s. That money was gone before she saw it. She hasnt had a album out in years. Guess the marley boy dont pay child support. cause IF i almost had to pay $1000 a month for one kid and i didnt make much he should be paying a cool 500k or more a month for all those babies!!!!
