  • Fuck boy killer

This should’ve stayed in a vault instead of ever seeing the light of day.

    • SeekingMyMassa

Smart. White Massa has whipped you well.

  • E.F. Cuttin

    Sloppy… sloppy indeed…

  • Action Jackson

Dope record because he’s a dope emcee, but this is not touching the original at all.

  • Flea

I would have just been happy with a remastered version of the original CD. The original was always one of my crappiest sounding cd’s compared to others from that time.

    • SeekingMyMassa

Someone with the name base god has no room to talk about quality in hip hop.
      Time to get the whip!

      • Flea

well, you can choose to see things that way, or you can just judge me by the quality of my comment, which is what Lil B would do.

      • SeekingMyMassa

Yeah, you’ve never discovered an equilizer on a music player.
        Big whoop.

  • dehova

This is one of them annoying mixes that hip-hop snob claim is dope. It’s called the stink mix for a reason you slags!

    • SeekingMyMassa

We call them faggs here, dearie.

      • dehova

Er…actually you call them hoes. Slags = hoes

  • TheCraze

Feelin’ like a 90’s white label remix! Dope. For them real G’s. Peace.

  • Jason Mazur

Dope Beat. Dope Lyrics. Mixed Together = Average.

    • SeekingMyMassa

So it’s beats and lyrics on dope?

  • SeekingMyMassa

I guess we know why it’s NOT called “It ain’t hard to sell” because apparently it is.

    • SeekingMyMassa

He should have let a white Massa whip his to greatness.

    • Papi Peligro

See you can be witty without the extra stuff. That was funny. Stick to that.

Sorry nas but that kid from detroit killed your album tribute to the point you’ll have to do a real mix with new everything except the concept of the album!!! peace Jesus lives and loves

    • brotha_man

elzhi killed illmatic it was way better than skyzoo ode to reasonable doubt. but in no way, shape, or form was elzhi illmatic better than nas’.

      • johnblacksad

        >>>rememberin I still haven’t checked Skyzoo’s…

Elmatic was the sh!t… props to Elzhi, he did an awesome job!

      • drac215

Didnt say that bro, I said album “tribute”!!! Stop lettin ya emotions take away from ya comprehension skills. If it wasnt for illmatic you cant have a tribute album. And in my opinion the boy knew he was messin wit a classic so he came wit the business. Nas already know illmatic is a classic so he really doesnt have to do much to it. And also if your not sure what someone is talking about just ask them. peace

      • brotha_man

alright bro, keep calm, everything is going to be alright. i honestly never mentioned anything u just mentioned, i think ur emotions got the best of u

    • cromthelaughinggod7

The hiphopsites gave it rave reviews. What the fk are you smoking! He did crazy justice to it. No one could have done it better. Elzhi is a true lyricist up there with eminem. He is incredible lyrically. You must don’t know hiphop.

      • drac215

Newjack alert!!!Do you know what killed means bro? He made a classic out of a classic, if you understand ebonics in the proper context. Peace

      • cromthelaughinggod7

Didn’t pay attention or read your thing. I know what killed means. My bad!

    Gangstarr’s ‘2Deep’ sample…..

  • Stop it don’t destroy your legacy——Rappers must have some else to do when they get old…..Know when to walk away from the mic and master something else…I really love Nas, but no one is buying music like that.

    • Knickfan4life

It’s a greatest hit album that will only add on to illmatics sales which are already one million copies sold.

  • cromthelaughinggod7

This beat is wack for this song! Keep the original!

  • MikeyRon

    Noooooooooooooo!

  • Papi Peligro

    It dont fit.

  • Cash

Damn Nas done run out of artist to copy so he has to try to flip his own $h!t now,
