NAS SHARES SOME OF HIS FAVORITE EMCEES IN THE GAME RIGHT NOW

(AllHipHop News) Nasir Jones is one of the greatest emcees to ever pick up a microphone, so when the Queens, New York native mentions your name as one of the rappers he checks for, that is a major co-sign from a legendary artist.

The creator of the classic rap album Illmatic, recently spoke with Bossip, and Nas shared some of the younger rhymers he thinks is killing the game right now,

“Mac Miller’s my man,” said Nas before adding other emcees he’s listening to. “Drizzy, Kendrick, J.Cole. It’s a couple of good fellas out there that I’m feeling.”

Nas famously declared “Hip Hop Is Dead” on his 2006 LP. Eight years later, it appears Esco is more confident in state of the culture.

“[Hip Hop’s] going where it’s supposed to be going in 2014. It’s going in a great direction,” added Nas.
