(AllHipHop News) Over the past year, two up-and-coming rappers lost their lives due to gun violence. Atlanta’s Bankroll Fresh was murdered in March, and Chicago’s Capo was gunned down in July of last year. Fellow Chitown native G Herbo (fka Lil Herb) spoke with DJ Smallz about both tragic deaths.

Herbo admitted Bankroll was one of his favorite artists at the moment. The two were supposedly in talks to work together on some music before he was killed.
“To see that type of sh-t happening, it’s never a good sight or a good feeling. I come from that,” said Herbo. “I come from people trying to kill you. I come from people not wanting to see you make it.”
The Ballin Like I’m Kobe mixtape creator added, “I look at the whole Bankroll situation as similar to my homie Capo. That was my man… To see somebody that you genuinely f-ck with that’s making a difference and trying to make something better out of his life – it’s never good to see people lose their life. When you lose your life, you don’t get it back.”
