First Week Sales Predictions For YG’s “Still Brazy” Are In

DRAKE & RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS COMPETE FOR #1

(AllHipHop News) Compton rapper YG is on pace to open in the Top 10. His Still Brazy album is among the newly released projects to earn enough sales plus streaming totals to make a mark on the album chart.

According to HitsDailyDouble, YG is looking to open with between 37,000 – 42,000 equivalent album units. Sales for the project are predicted to be in the 27,000 – 30,000 range.

If those numbers hold, that would mean the Def Jam artist’s sophomore studio album will sell about half of the first week sales of its predecessor. My Krazy Life moved 61,000 copies in its first week in 2014.

YG will not repeat a Top 2 showing like he did two years ago. That is because Drake and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently competing for #1.

Projections for Drizzy’s Views and the legendary Rock band’s The Getaway are around 100,000 sales plus streaming units. The Chilli Peppers should easily lead the traditional sales numbers since their album is expected to sell between 90,000 – 95,000 copies.
